Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA) has added certification for International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment. Amazon Web Services (AWS) maintains certifications through extensive audits of its controls to ensure that information security risks that affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company and customer information are appropriately managed.
Amazon MWAA is a managed orchestration service for Apache Airflow that makes it easier to set up and operate end-to-end data pipelines in the cloud. Amazon MWAA has certification for compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013, 27017:2015, 27018:2019, 27701:2019, 22301:2019, 9001:2015, and CSA STAR CCM v4.0. You can download copies of the AWS ISO certificates and use them to jump-start your own certification efforts. Further, with IRAP assessment, you can meet the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) control objectives while using Amazon MWAA.
In addition to ISO certification and IRAP assessment, Amazon MWAA is also Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) eligible, in scope for System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports, and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) compliant. You can launch a new Amazon MWAA environment with just a few clicks in the AWS Management Console in all currently supported Amazon MWAA regions.
