Today we are announcing a new capability for AWS Entity Resolution to help customers protect their datasets. You can now use AWS PrivateLink with AWS Entity Resolution to establish private connectivity between your data tables and your Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) without exposing your organization’s traffic to the Internet, so your data remains encrypted in transit and at rest. This improvement is especially helpful for customers that require this capability to meet their organization’s security and data protection requirements.
AWS Entity Resolution is a configurable, machine learning (ML)–powered service that helps organizations match and link related records stored across multiple applications, channels, and data stores. You can get started in minutes using matching workflows that are flexible, scalable, and can seamlessly connect to your existing applications, without any expertise in entity resolution or ML.
AWS Entity Resolution is generally available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), and Europe (London).
