Today, AWS launches the 2024 season of the award-winning AWS DeepRacer League - where racers of all skill levels advance their knowledge of machine learning (ML) and compete in the world’s first global autonomous racing league!
Starting March 1st, DeepRacer League participants will have opportunities to learn about ML, experiment building ML models, and participate in a global competition to compete regionally and globally among peers and fellow ML enthusiasts for a chance to win monthly and season-long prizes and AWS credits.
In 2024, DeepRacer League participants will have the opportunity to race in a new format comprised of four heats, each of which consists of two regional monthly virtual circuits with different race types, to compete for season-long prizes and a trip to re:Invent in Las Vegas for a chance to win up to $50,000 USD championship prize purse. Students can also participate in regional monthly races through the DeepRacer Student League for a chance to win up to $25,000 USD in tuition prizes, access to AWS’s new Gen AI course, and the opportunity to apply for the 2024 AIML Scholarship program.
The 2024 DeepRacer League will run from March through October and DeepRacer Student League from March to September in 6 regions (North America, South America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Greater China, and Middle East and Africa).
