Philips HealthSuite Platform Delivers Insights at Scale on AWS
Founded in 1891, Philips is a leading health technology company focused on improving people's health and enabling better patient outcomes. Philips relies on dozens of Amazon Web Services (AWS) services to power the Philips HealthSuite Platform, which consolidates patient records, data from wearable or home-based remote medical-monitoring equipment, and information from insurance companies or healthcare organizations. Using AWS services including Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth, Philips enables its customers to unlock data insights such as clinical predictions and operational forecasts at scale. “Philips and AWS share a lot of cultural beliefs. We have a customer first approach. We’re both pioneers that are not happy with the status quo, who want to push the envelope and change the way of working in the future,” says Dr. Shez Partovi, chief innovation and strategy officer at Philips.
