Q: What is included in AWS DevDay registration?
A: AWS DevDay registration gives you free access to technical sessions, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to network with AWS technical experts and your peers. Meals offered include lunch and snacks.

 

Q: How can I sign up for a hands-on workshop if I am already registered?
A: If you are already registered for AWS DevDay and would like to attend a hands-on workshop, please arrive early as seating is limited and first-come, first-served upon event check-in. Please remember: All participants must bring their own laptop (no tablets; requires dual-core processor with 4GB of RAM) and have an AWS Account established and ready to use at the event.

 

Q: Can I get a receipt of my registration?
A: Upon completing the online registration process, you will be sent a confirmation email. Please check your junk mail folder. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please contact us at AWS-DevDay-Support@amazon.com.

Q: Will I need to register myself for each technical session?
A: Onsite at AWS DevDay, technical sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. As seats are not guaranteed there is no need to pre-register for each technical session.

 

Q: When and where do I pick up my badge?
A: You may pick up your badge between 9AM and 5PM on June 21, 2016. AWS DevDay registration is located just past the AMC Metreon 16 ticket booth on the 3rd floor.

 

Q: What accessibility accommodations are available?
A: The AWS DevDay venue, AMC Metreon 16, has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible. Read more about the facility’s accessibility here. A: At this time, we do not accept submissions for AWS DevDay speakers or session content although we always appreciate customer feedback.

 

Q: What is the AWS DevDay Code of Conduct?
A: AWS expects all DevDay participants (attendees, staff, speakers, sponsors, etc.) to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive learning environment while at the conference and any conference-related events. AWS will not tolerate any form of harassment or offensive speech or behavior, including relating to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability. Participants engaging in behavior deemed by AWS as discriminatory or offensive will be asked to leave the conference or related event immediately. Anyone witnessing such behavior is encouraged to contact an AWS staff member so direct action can be taken.
