What is our primary use case?
My main use case for GoAnywhere MFT is secure file transfer and management within the organization. During this time, I have worked with it for secure data exchange, to automate file transfer workflow, compliance-related file handling, and centralized transfer management in an enterprise environment.
One use case for GoAnywhere MFT in our environment is handling secure and compliant file transfers between internal systems, external partners, and business applications. For example, when sensitive data needs to be transferred to external entities, GoAnywhere MFT helps ensure the transfer process is secure, encrypted, and centrally monitored. Instead of relying on manual file-sharing methods, the platform automates the transfer workflow using secure protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, or HTTPS.
Another use case is access control and user management. Only authorized users and systems can access specified transfer workflows or sensitive files, which helps improve security and support compliance.
What is most valuable?

My team and I primarily use GoAnywhere MFT for secure file transfer and workflow automation.
A specific workflow automation I implemented with GoAnywhere MFT was automating daily financial transfers between our company's business application and an external partner's system.
Previously, the process was manual, where a team had to generate a report, encrypt it, and upload it through SFTP every day. Using GoAnywhere MFT , we automated the complete workflow, including file pickup, PGP encryption, secure transfer through SFTP, transfer validation, and automated email notification in case of success or failure.

Some of the best features of GoAnywhere MFT are secure file transfer, built-in workflow automation, and strong security controls, with workflow automation being specifically valuable to our team.
