What do you like best about the product?

I use GoAnywhere MFT to securely transfer and manage sensitive files with encryption and access control. I like its strong security combined with automation, which makes secure file transfers easy and runs reliably in the background. The automation aspect saves time by handling repetitive file transfers without manual effort. I also appreciate the auditing and compliance features, which give me peace of mind with detailed visibility into every action, making it easier to track activity, meet compliance requirements, and quickly identify issues.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find GoAnywhere MFT a bit complex to set up at first and the interface is not always as smooth or intuitive as it could be. It could be improved with a more modern and intuitive user interface and a simpler initial setup process. Better onboarding, clearer documentation, and more flexible pricing options would also make it easier to adopt and use, especially for smaller teams.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use GoAnywhere MFT to securely transfer sensitive files, meeting compliance with encryption and access control. It automates and tracks file transfers, reducing errors and manual work. The auditing and reporting features provide full visibility and compliance tracking, saving time and effort.

To secure files in an encryption mode outside of the organization between different clients, wherever encryption needs to be enabled, is my main use case for GoAnywhere MFT . Whenever we want to share confidential files with clients so that no one can have unauthorized access to the files, we have used GoAnywhere MFT  for this purpose, and also where encryption needs to be enabled.

A unique situation is that the file size does not matter when we transfer files with GoAnywhere MFT . Some certain products have size limitations, but GoAnywhere MFT  does not have that option. The file size is unlimited and can be shared.

Apart from the shared mentioned users, with GoAnywhere MFT, no other user will be able to access the files as they are encrypted. GoAnywhere MFT provides the best encryption mode in sharing files, which stands out for me compared to other solutions I have seen.

We were facing issues with sharing documents or files outside of the organization, and we were uncertain whether the user is a trusted user or not. GoAnywhere MFT provides an authentication way, ensuring that only verified users can be shared the documents. That is a great positive impact created by GoAnywhere MFT.

Time has been saved. GoAnywhere MFT has saved us a lot of time. Instead of making files into bit size and sharing them over different platforms, GoAnywhere MFT has an option to send files in a bulk mode. As the file size does not matter, we can share any amount of file size.

Whenever we want to share files with people outside of the organization, once the users are verified, they do not need to be verified again and again. This saves us time in sharing files, allowing them to share files unlimited times. Additionally, the support that needs to be provided to this product is very minimal, which are the positive relevant metrics.

GoAnywhere MFT can be synchronized with artificial intelligence so that it can briefly explain what kind of document it is. That feature could be enabled.

It has been two years since I have been using GoAnywhere MFT.

The customer support is quite good. Whenever we face issues with the product, the customer support does not take much time in resolving it, providing us with the resolution or a defect fix before the SLA expires.

Negative

We have previously used IBM Files for sharing files outside of the organization, but it does not have a lot of features that GoAnywhere MFT has, so we have migrated to GoAnywhere MFT.

Though I was not involved in the pricing and license cost, it is fairly industry standard.

We have evaluated many products in the industry, and though I cannot name them specifically, we had a list of five to six products that were reviewed and chose one that could generate us value, which is how we got to know GoAnywhere MFT.

GoAnywhere MFT is a good choice for any customer who wants to share files confidentially in an encryption mode. GoAnywhere MFT is one of the top products to be considered among the top peers. I gave this review a rating of 9 out of 10.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how GoAnywhere MFT makes workflow automation easier and speeds up setup, saving time in managing content across different roles. The automation works well, and data is handled securely. The support is reliable, making the evaluation process smooth. I find the dashboard easy to use, and the alerts help us spot and fix issues faster. The automation tools, secure file transfer, and easy-to-use dashboard are features we value most as they save time, reduce errors, and make monitoring simple.

What do you dislike about the product?

Advanced setup and custom workflows can be tricky and the learning curve is a bit steep. Some processes are not very easy to set up. It would help if the setup for advanced workflows was simpler and more user-friendly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use GoAnywhere MFT to securely transfer files, automate workflows, and manage large files centrally, reducing manual work and improving security. It solves problems like manual file transfers, errors, and unorganized scripts, making file sharing more secure and saving us time.

My main use case for GoAnywhere MFT  is file transfer. Before using GoAnywhere MFT  for file transfer, we could only transfer 2GB of data using one of the free tools, but after we started using GoAnywhere, our files are very secure and encrypted because we work on client data, so we can securely share all the database and all the code with our clients.

We started using GoAnywhere MFT  four months ago, and our major use case is file transfer because we are working on some tools related to banking and e-commerce, so we use this tool for sending data to our clients.

The best feature of GoAnywhere MFT , in my opinion, is file sharing in encrypted form. The encryption feature in GoAnywhere MFT stands out for me because while the initial setup is a bit complicated, the encrypted use cases are excellent compared to other tools, which is why we can use this tool.

I would add that GoAnywhere MFT includes secure transfer protocols such as HTTPS, SFTP, and FTPS and more advanced B2B standards, and the encryption, authentication, and access control are features I appreciate most, along with reporting. GoAnywhere MFT has impacted my organization positively, with security being the most important reason we use this tool.

I believe that GoAnywhere MFT can be improved because the initial setup is somewhat challenging for a new user, so they need to make the initial feature easier for everyone, whether new or experienced users. I also think that the UI needs improvement, aiming for cleaner and quicker visuals.

Previously, we used WeTransfer. We decided to switch from WeTransfer to GoAnywhere MFT because WeTransfer is not secure and there is a limit of only 2GB that we can send to clients, but with GoAnywhere, we can send more than 2GB.

We have seen a return on investment. GoAnywhere MFT saves a lot of time for our team, allowing us to share files securely with our clients.

I did not evaluate other options before choosing GoAnywhere MFT; I researched this tool and after that, I purchased it without looking at other tools.

This tool is much faster compared to other tools, and our clients feel more secure about their data. Although we have faced errors in some cases, not with this tool. I would advise others to use GoAnywhere MFT instead of other tools because it is secure and faster than the competition.

Overall, GoAnywhere MFT has been a reliable and secure solution for managing file transfers in our organization, being very helpful for our team and clients in terms of security, workflow, and automation. I would recommend GoAnywhere MFT to my friends and other organizations if anyone asks me because it is an amazing tool for the file transfer field. I gave this product a rating of eight out of ten.
