Overview
Kong is a scalable, modular and fault-tolerant API layer (aka API gateway or API middleware) that runs in front of any RESTful API. It is built on top of reliable technologies like NGINX which provides developers an easy-to-use RESTful API to operate and configure the system. It is mainly used to act as a gateway for HTTP requests providing logging, authentication, and rate-limiting to websites and mobile or IoT (Internet of Things) applications.

Usage instructions
Once the instance is running, enter the public DNS provided by Amazon into your browser. You will then see the Kong application. The default server administrator is 'cassandra'. Please check our documentation at https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/faq/get-started/find-credentials/ to learn how to get your password. You may change this username and password within the application settings. You can also access your instance via SSH using the username 'bitnami' and your Amazon private key.
