The AMI includes Ollama and Open WebUI configured to run as system services, firewall rules for required ports, and a curated set of preloaded CPU-friendly models for faster initial use. Additional value is provided through deployment-ready defaults, integration setup, and ongoing image maintenance updates so customers can launch and operate the stack with reduced setup effort. The packaged deployment provides an Ollama API service on port 11434 and an Open WebUI service on port 8080, with services configured for startup integration and operational continuity. Open-source components remain available under their respective licenses.

Each hourly unit maps to one running EC2 instance of the type you select, such as m5.large or c6i.xlarge. The rate covers the AMI software running Ollama and Open WebUI on that instance. You pick the instance family and size that fits your CPU-based workload.
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A stopped instance stops accruing software charges. Underlying AWS storage for the volume may still incur separate infrastructure fees. The software meters running time, so shutting down between sessions reduces software cost.
Each instance type carries its own hourly rate. When you launch a new type, you pay that type's rate for the hours it runs. There is no upfront commitment tying you to one type. You can stop one instance and launch another size as needs change.
