Our experience with Nakivo at UAM-X
What do you like best about the product?
Nakivo is a tool that meets our expectations, backups of virtual servers are performed efficiently, saving storage space. Simple implementation. Recovery from backups has been fast and effective, its interface is very intuitive and simple. and Technical support has always responded quickly and accurately.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I didn't like was that it was not in Spanish, but in version 11 several languages were added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows the backup of virtual servers, with the advantage of being able to recover in a matter of minutes any server that has presented any damage to the information or the operating system.
A very good solution to the problem of Backup
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface and the simplicity of Nakivo. Other solutions i have tried have been clunky and non-intuitive, but i found Nakivo to be easy to find my way around. Simple yet effective tech, backed up with great support. The initial offer of a tech meeting to help you get setup was gamechanging for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all, I really like Nakivo, what more can i say?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Nakivo solves the problem of multi source backup simply and in one product. Our previous software supplier had two products to perform the same.

What do you like best about the product?
Our experience with Nakivo has been very good. We positively value the optimal results in terms of performance and reliability that the solution offers us. Whenever we have had problems, the support department has been able to solve it for us. We recommend this product since the results are very good at a low cost.

We don't have anything negative to mention. The performance has been as expected

Nakivo has allowed us to quickly recover from possible incidents on our servers
NAKIVO SAFE AND EASY
What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Nakivo, I can use external storage like a NAS server to manage and store backups and replications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, because it is very easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Experience has been exceptional with Nakivo. From support to account management. Always someone available to help with either renewals or support of the product. I have had to reach out to support a couple of times for issues or help and there has been someone available immediately and able to help me quickly. I have recommended this product in the past and will continue to recommend in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t came across anything I dislike yet about this product. It is very easy to manage and support team is always helpful.

We have been using NAKIVO Backup & Replication for our backup and replication solution for the last 6 years. What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Support for Certain Platforms and Applications for example Broader Hypervisor Support: While it supports VMware, Hyper-V, and AWS EC2, it lacks native support for some hypervisors like Citrix Hypervisor (formerly XenServer) and Oracle VM. Expanding compatibility would appeal to a wider audience.
Application-Specific Enhancements: Although it supports Exchange, Active Directory, and SQL Server, integration with other popular applications like SAP HANA, Dynamics 365, or Oracle databases is limited.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nakivo solved my VMware virtual machine backup problems in several of my customers' environments. It is simple to use and has a cost appropriate to its features.

The implementation process was straightforward, the system has a user-friendly interface, making backup configuration and management easy. It integrates smoothly with VMware and Hyper-V, offering efficient, fast backups with minimal system impact. Key features like incremental backups, deduplication, and instant recovery ensure strong data protection and quick recovery. Its affordability makes it a great choice for small to mid-sized businesses. With all support calls I have logged, Nakivo support team handled the calls in a professional manner and in very short time frames.
What do you dislike about the product?
NAKIVO’s reporting features are limited for users needing detailed or customizable reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We chose NAKIVO for its cost-effectiveness, ease of use, and comprehensive features like instant VM recovery and strong cloud integration. Compared to alternatives, it provided better value with lower resource consumption and simpler management, making it ideal for our needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Nakivo tech support and pre sales support were amazing! They knew what they were talking about and helped get it setup properly to our satisfaction. Recommend giving them a try or if you have reviewed them in the past, check out their new features today.

I could not find any downsides. Nakivo support has improved tremediounsly from the past.

There is no perfect backup problem, but it's how the company resolves the problems and how quicly systems can be restored when something is down.

We haven't been using Nakivo for long, so as we continue using we may find some issues. Service and support and functionality have been great so far.

Nakivo handles our core business DR functionality. We migrated away from a more expensive backup solution but haven't had any reduction in functionality.
