What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Support for Certain Platforms and Applications for example Broader Hypervisor Support: While it supports VMware, Hyper-V, and AWS EC2, it lacks native support for some hypervisors like Citrix Hypervisor (formerly XenServer) and Oracle VM. Expanding compatibility would appeal to a wider audience.
Application-Specific Enhancements: Although it supports Exchange, Active Directory, and SQL Server, integration with other popular applications like SAP HANA, Dynamics 365, or Oracle databases is limited.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nakivo solved my VMware virtual machine backup problems in several of my customers' environments. It is simple to use and has a cost appropriate to its features.

What do you like best about the product?
The implementation process was straightforward, the system has a user-friendly interface, making backup configuration and management easy. It integrates smoothly with VMware and Hyper-V, offering efficient, fast backups with minimal system impact. Key features like incremental backups, deduplication, and instant recovery ensure strong data protection and quick recovery. Its affordability makes it a great choice for small to mid-sized businesses. With all support calls I have logged, Nakivo support team handled the calls in a professional manner and in very short time frames.
What do you dislike about the product?
NAKIVO’s reporting features are limited for users needing detailed or customizable reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We chose NAKIVO for its cost-effectiveness, ease of use, and comprehensive features like instant VM recovery and strong cloud integration. Compared to alternatives, it provided better value with lower resource consumption and simpler management, making it ideal for our needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Nakivo tech support and pre sales support were amazing! They knew what they were talking about and helped get it setup properly to our satisfaction. Recommend giving them a try or if you have reviewed them in the past, check out their new features today.

I could not find any downsides. Nakivo support has improved tremediounsly from the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is no perfect backup problem, but it's how the company resolves the problems and how quicly systems can be restored when something is down.

4. Calendar functionality makes viewing backup schedules easy.

We haven't been using Nakivo for long, so as we continue using we may find some issues. Service and support and functionality have been great so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nakivo handles our core business DR functionality. We migrated away from a more expensive backup solution but haven't had any reduction in functionality.

The ease of creating immutable backups, with the ease of managing different backup schemes from a single console.

Improve a little the graphical interface where backup tasks are performed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NAKIVO Backup & Replication is my main backup solution, I use the recommended 3,2,1 scheme by creating three types of backups in different locations and applying immutability on one of the repositories.

What do you like best about the product?
Nakivo Backup is its ease of setup, along with the ability to host the backup service on my own server, supported by responsive and helpful tech support.

I use it to backup my physical GPU machines. I was not able to recovery machine to a virtual environment. I wish to have availalbe option.

It makes a duplication of the GPU servers and their data.

Nakivo Backup & Replication is a lightweight solution that doesn't heavily impact the network, yet offers a comprehensive set of features.

The incremental backup consumes more storage compared to our previous backup software.

I love the simplicity of Nakivo. I have used other backup solutions such as Rubrik and Nakivo excels in every aspect.
Even working with support is a breeze, you do not have to email them or call them, with a click of a button it generates the needed support logs and opens up a case! Its sweet!
Did I mention the price is very affordable and flexible. Great for a small business like ours.

We are small and so is our IT department. So having an affordable product that not only delivers the solution, but does it in a simple manner requiring little to no maintenance and administration is exactly what we need.
I feel like, finding an afforadable product like Nakivo, for any type of technical need, is hard to find in general. Glad, I checked them out!
