What do you like best about the product?
I love how effortlessly NAKIVO Backup & Replication keeps our data safe. Backups and recoveries are fast, and automation takes a lot of the routine work off my plate. I appreciate features like deduplication and compression, which help save storage and keep backups running smoothly. The flexible recovery options let me quickly restore anything I need, whether that's a single file, a VM, or a whole system. It saves time and storage with incremental backups and deduplication, making it a reliable tool for keeping our IT environment running without interruptions. Overall, it gives me peace of mind knowing our data is protected and our systems can run smoothly without constant worry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface feels a bit clunky, which can make finding settings less intuitive. I’d also love more detailed reporting to get clearer insights into backup performance. Setting it up in more complex environments can be a little tricky, so having clearer guidance or tutorials would make things much smoother.

What do you like best about the product?
NAKIVO Backup & Replication stands out as a reliable and intuitive data‑protection solution. Its simple interface makes configuring backups and restores easy, even for users without extensive experience. Managing both physical environments and VMware virtual machines is smooth, with fast and accurate restore procedures at both file and full‑machine level. The software delivers excellent performance and strong stability in daily operations. Another key advantage is the effortless integration with S3‑compatible storage. Connecting cloud buckets such as AWS or Backblaze takes only a few steps and enables the creation of hybrid or fully cloud‑based backup strategies with ease. Overall, NAKIVO combines usability, speed, and flexibility, making infrastructure protection a straightforward and dependable process.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, I don’t have any negative opinions about the product. Everything has worked smoothly so far, and I haven’t encountered issues that would lead me to view it unfavorably.

Simple and Effective Backup Solution with Responsive Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like many things about NAKIVO. First, it is a very efficient solution for backups and the recovery time is minimal. Then, its ease of use with a user-friendly and smooth interface is a big positive point. Finally, NAKIVO's support is very responsive to every little issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
The real-time replication feature still requires some improvements. For example, when the target system fails, the replication fails and does not restart automatically even if the target system becomes functional again. It is always necessary to restart manually, whereas a script could be implemented to monitor the status of the target system and automatically restart the job. Moreover, when the RTR job is in progress, backups cannot be performed on the affected virtual machines, which requires manually stopping the RTR job to start the backup, an action that could be automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NAKIVO Backup & Replication helps us recover quickly after an incident, integrating well into our business continuity plan. It offers efficient backups and rapid recovery of virtual machines, Office 365 objects, and shared files on NAS.

I like how NAKIVO Backup & Replication provides reliable and automated backups that help us avoid data loss. The setup process was simple, and the interface is easy to understand, even for beginners. Backup jobs run smoothly, and the restore speed is quite good. The scheduling and email notification feature helps in monitoring backups easily. It's a reliable and cost-effective solution with reasonable pricing. The flexibility of backup options and scheduling allows us to customize backup jobs according to our needs without much complexity. The reporting feature gives a clear overview of backup status, and customer support and documentation are helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is the user interface performance, which sometimes feels slightly slow when managing multiple backup jobs. Also, some advanced features may take time for new users to fully understand. However, these are minor issues and do not affect the overall reliability of the product.

Easy Setup, Affordable and Efficient Backup Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I use NAKIVO Backup & Replication as my core solution for backing up all PCs and servers, and it's very easy to use. The user experience with the GUI complements my own skills well. I really appreciate the feature to add third-party applications for protection, like m365, Teams, and SharePoint. Also, the process of backing up my SQL server and VMs is simplified with NAKIVO. I find their documentation extensive, which made the initial setup very easy. I previously used other backup clients but choose NAKIVO for its competitive pricing while offering a solution similar to others. I have recommended it to my customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past, my customer wanted Polish language support, which wasn't available at the time, though I heard it might be added in 2025.

I use NAKIVO Backup & Replication as my core solution for PC and server backups, restoring broken devices when files are deleted, and for protecting apps like m365, Teams, and SharePoint. It's easy to use with great GUI and documentation.

What I like most about NAKIVO Backup & Replication is its ease of use and versatility. The interface is intuitive, allowing for quick configuration and management of backups and recoveries, and it supports multiple environments such as virtual, physical, cloud, and Microsoft 365 from a single platform. It stands out for its efficient incremental copies, fast and granular recovery, good automation and security options, and an excellent cost-benefit ratio, making it a reliable and practical solution for data protection.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about NAKIVO Backup & Replication is that some advanced features require a steeper learning curve, the documentation could be clearer in certain cases, and several important capabilities are only available in higher editions, which can limit its use if a more economical solution is sought.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication solves problems such as data loss, slow recovery, lack of operational continuity, and manual backup management. It benefits me because it allows automating backups, quickly recovering information, protecting mixed environments from a single platform, and reducing downtime, ensuring business continuity and greater operational peace of mind.
Simplicity and Power with Room for Integration Growth
What do you like best about the product?
I really like NAKIVO Backup & Replication for its striking simplicity without sacrificing power. The initial setup was relatively simple and convenient, with no difficulties or challenges. I also appreciate the Screenshot Verification feature, which, although a small feature, has a massive psychological impact. After a backup job runs, NAKIVO can automatically boot the VM from the backup file in an isolated environment, take a screenshot of the OS loading, and log the result.
What do you dislike about the product?
The advanced integration gap is something I don't like. It lacks tight integration with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk for automated ticket creation on backup failures, unlike larger competitors. Also, while it has its own failover orchestration, deep hooks into broader IT automation platforms for complex recovery runbooks are not a strength.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NAKIVO Backup & Replication protects our VMware vSphere and Hyper-V VMs, solving slow backups and providing incremental backups, quick recovery, and VM replication for fast failover.
Unmatched Support and Cost-Effective Backup Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I really like NAKIVO Backup & Replication's Flash Restore feature, which helped us quickly determine if the restore point was clean from ransomware. The Immutability feature offers assurance that we are protected from good backups being wiped out. The cost is also a huge plus—it is 10 times less than our previous option. I appreciate its configurability as we are not limited by software restrictions or poor features, making it very robust. Most importantly, the live phone or Google Meet support with a software engineer is invaluable. Setting it up was very easy as NAKIVO assisted via Google Meets. Additionally, the excellent support made learning the interface much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a while to figure out the interface, but that's on me. However, with NAKIVO's excellent support, they were able to walk me through until I got it figured out. Hand holding is important when critical restores are at hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NAKIVO Backup & Replication provides reliable, granular backups of VMs, especially for Exchange Server. Features like Flash Restore ensure clean restore points, Immutability protects backups from being wiped, and the cost is significantly less than other options. Configurability and live support are invaluable.
