What do you like best about the product?
24/7 support and communication with a dedicated salesperson
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not an intuitive, user-friendly application even for experienced engineers. You need to spend some time upskilling if you want to design the best-practice scenario for your environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Windows Server bare-metal backup stopped working. I could not find a way to restore it, so Nakivo seems like the easiest disaster recovery solution for the single-DC network.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the all-in-one design: backup, replication, and instant recovery in one web interface, with strong automation and disaster-recovery features. It also stands out for efficient performance, including incremental backups, change tracking, and replication from backup, which helps reduce load and speed up recovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly the reporting feels a bit limited, and some features could be smoother.

It solves backup and recovery for virtual, physical, cloud, and SaaS systems, so we get simpler protection and faster restores

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using this product over 7 years now, our company and customers data has been safe ever since. We are still a happy customers of Nakivo products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some products are only available in bundles, which means you end up having to buy licenses that you don’t actually use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as our main DRaaS product, both internally and for our clients. With Nakivo, we feel confident that our data is safe. The backup/restore speeds are great and web GUI is simple and intuitive

What do you like best about the product?
NAKIVO doesn't require Windows Server, which keeps our licensing costs low. The web interface is excellent for both operators and end users. Customer support has always been helpful and quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Choosing the right license level can be a hassle when you're starting out, especially if you have specific requirements. The lack of macOS support has been the biggest drawback when presenting NAKIVO as an all-encompassing backup solution to clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an cloud services provider, NAKIVO solves the core problem of protecting both our own infrastructure and our clients' workloads while keeping the economics viable.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for NAKIVO Backup & Replication is backup and recovery, as well as disaster recovery. As an MSP, I provide backup services to our clients, where our clients back up primarily virtual machines, but many also back up workstations and physical servers.
How has it helped my organization?
NAKIVO Backup & Replication has positively impacted my organization by allowing us to easily provide backup services to our clients.
This has affected my business in that NAKIVO Backup & Replication has helped us save time, reduce costs, and improve reliability for our clients, as it is much more price-efficient than other more popular solutions. It allows us to save time by not requiring a specific Windows server deployment, and we have verified its reliability by working with it for two years.
What is most valuable?
One of the best features NAKIVO Backup & Replication offers is its deployment versatility, as we do not need to deploy a Windows server and its licensing to implement NAKIVO Backup & Replication backup servers. Additionally, the web interface is much better and more user-friendly than other providers.
What needs improvement?
Improving NAKIVO Backup & Replication involves addressing the hassle of choosing the right license level when starting out, especially with specific requirements, and the lack of macOS support has been the biggest drawback when presenting NAKIVO Backup & Replication as an all-encompassing solution to our clients.
Additional needed improvements include faster update cycles for the latest hypervisor versions and the availability of macOS backups.

I previously used Veeam, but I migrated to NAKIVO Backup & Replication because of the licensing costs.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, very easy to understand, and with a straightforward UI. It also integrates seamlessly with VMware. The pricing is very good, and the support team was very helpful, explaining everything clearly before we bought.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer an integrated agent that I can ask for advice and for guidance on industry-standard procedures.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like NAKIVO Backup & Replication for its easy-to-use, reliable, centralized backup solution. The web-based centralized management portal is fantastic because it can be accessed from anywhere at any of our sites, making management much easier than having to remote onto each Hyper-V host to make changes. The pricing and customer support are also great, and the initial setup was very easy, only taking about 30 minutes. I also felt supported, as their team quickly assisted with a remote session to fix a weird issue.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using NAKIVO Backup & Replication for some time now, and honestly it has been a very reliable solution for us.
I had to use it multiple times in real situations, not just for testing. I restored systems to previous versions, moved virtual machines from one server to another, and used it when an upgrade or system change was not reliable and I needed to go back to a previous restore point. Every time, the restore was successful and smooth.
The interface is simple, the backup jobs are easy to manage, and the recovery process gives you confidence when something goes wrong. For me, the biggest value is knowing that when I need to restore, NAKIVO actually works.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with NAKIVO and would definitely recommend it to any business looking for a reliable and cost-effective backup and disaster recovery solution.
