Complete, easy security for smaller networks.
What do you like best about the product?
Support is far and away the best thing about Watchguard security. Every time I've had issues they get back to me within a day, and the staff that contacts me are always very knowledgable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup isn't the easiest thing to do if you're not familiar with what you're doing. There are so many different features that can be integrated, it can sometimes become a bear to stay on top of it. Installation documentation is pretty decent online, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal data is kept safe and external threats are monitored, reported, and neutralized at all hours. Remote tunneling from any device can be done using our windows logins.
Best and complete security portfolio.
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely User-Friendly frontend. Outstanding performance and exceptional support. Always one step ahead. The complete portfolio offered is a solution itself, with no hidden costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike sometimes if any new feature is needed. Submitting the request will get the whole engineering team to include that in the latest version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During Pandemic times, we were unable to access the working environment. Everyone needed to work from home, accessing Apps and Data. It was a blessing to have a Watchguard firewall, and deployment was 100% remote. Very easy to not IT users to get started and secure.

We use the WatchGuard firebox systems for a multi-layer security approach for security at our company. It is used to protect all aspects of our company. Security is a top concern in our growing and evolving world. It keeps the users and systems protected from new and emerging threats.

Easy integrations to other office components. Easy online web interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very much I don't like about it, but I would say there too many ways to get the same page on the dashboard.

The management software of the devices has to be downloaded, and each device added individually.

Unified threat management, VPN tunnels, encryption, web blocking, to name a few.

Ease of configuration, low total cost of ownership, excellent vendor support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes about WatchGuard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complete perimeter network security, application control, gateway anti-virus, intrusion prevention service, multifactor authentication, and recently added their EPDR endpoint security too.

If you are not satisfied with the typical web-based GUI management interface of other mainstream firewalls, contact WatchGuard and ask for a trial.
