Sisense Analytics Platform Review
What do you like best about the product?
It just makes sense of data in a way that feels intuitive.I can build a complex dashboard without needing to be a full-time engineer, and the way it handles massive, messy datasets still feels like magic.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the dashboards look great, the actual builder feels a bit dated and clunky. It's not as sleek or intuitive as some newer tools, and sometimes a simple formatting change takes more clicks than it should
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, Sisense turned our scattered data into a single source of truth. I used to waste hours stitching together reports; now I can build a dashboard that shows our entire operation at a glance. It empowers me to find answers myself without waiting on IT, which has dramatically sped up our decision-making. While there's a learning curve, the clarity it brings is absolutely worth it
Turning Complex Data into Clear Decisions
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sisense is its ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights through powerful, user-friendly analytics. Sisense excels in integrating data from multiple sources, enabling users to create interactive, customizable dashboards without heavy reliance on IT.
What do you dislike about the product?
What some users might dislike about Sisense includes a few areas where the platform could improve:
Learning Curve: While Sisense is designed to be user-friendly, new users, especially those without a strong background in data analytics or BI tools, may find the initial setup and certain advanced features somewhat complex.
Pricing: Sisense can be relatively expensive compared to some other BI tools, especially for smaller businesses or teams with limited budgets.

Sisense, The best BI tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is an excellent Bi Tool. We use it to integrate data from Different sources. In addition to ElastiCube based, It’s capability to generated report from online source is excellent.
What I like most about Sisense is their support system. They have support across the time zones. Unless it is urgent, I like to get support in the evening when I do not have to do other things. Someone will be there to help and resolve issues quickly.

Sisense’s learning curve is stip. However, Sisense provides excellent self-learning resources. They are available to give demonstrations of any of the functionalities of Sisense

Sisense is a powerful and extensive BI tool that sometimes have problems with performance
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that Sisense can be installed locally or in the cloud makes it a great BI option to use and share complex reports and dashbaords with clients. The vast number of free and paid plugin add more features and funcionalities and integrations to the tool. I also love that Sisense have the blox widget type, which allows me to implement HTML code on my dashbaords.
What do you dislike about the product?
For being a web tool, the performance sometimes can be an issue as well as debugging or finding the root cause for an error. Sometimes it's solved by just refreshing the page, other times I need to contact the support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of providing analytics to our customers using the data from our internal systems. By leveraging Sisense, my company can create a hub of reports and dashboards that clients can access at anytime and it's interactive. Helping them to better understand their metrics and data.

Flexible and full of features

The different options for embedding and the Explanation, Trends and Forecast features.

The support was slow, but it has been improving lately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes data accessible for non-tech users. It is easy to create dashboards and use the ones my company already have.
It also works great with embedding. They have several options and now with Compose SDK we have much more flexibility and the possibility to code everything on our front end.

Exceptional data visualization tool & dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is up there when it comes to data visualization. One is able to create complex data visuals as one wishes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its the best data analysis tool and there are no features I feel could be improved at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense gives me the tools to process data, extract relevant information from it, and create whatever reports I need for the business.
Faster development, easy to learn, looks great and straightforward pricing .
What do you like best about the product?
I have managed the implementation of every major visualisation tool into several teams. From Business Objects to Tableau and Power BI.
Sisense allows your developers to work faster. It's easy to use, very easy to learn and works incredibly well.
In tests in my current team, we found Sisense loads and operates between 2x and 3x faster that Power BI (P1). Every click, every slicer change is faster, and its really noticable to the end user.
It also looks better, and has no licensing problems for selling this as part of a product for external clients.
I don't need to train colleagues up in "universes", "dax", or spend inordinate amounts of time getting anything out of Tableau
For businesses the best part of Sisense is the pricing.
You buy a package, and you know what it's going to cost.
Try navigating the imposssible pricing structures, usage driven costs you get from many of the alternatives.
Power BI may have a free version, but you can't do much with it, and need to upgrade to an unfathomable pricing plan, which we found works out 3x more expensive than Sisense. Looker is the same, and the other major tools are just as bad.

What do you dislike about the product?
Blox, which gives the developer the ability to manipulate the functionality and look/feel completely is complex, and difficult to implement. It has the same difficulty as DAX: it's far more power ful than DAX, and can change to visuals of a widget/page, but lacks the documentation.
However you rarely need to use it.
It can be hard to find support information, there isn't the online community you find with the largest tools, but this is getting better. Sisense should focus on creating better documentation and guides for specific use-cases.
There could be more connectors, especially live ones.

Sisense speeds up development, and simplified visualisation and analytics.
