Sisense solves major issues like lack of actionable analytics, and we mainly use it for tracking all our key performance indicators and optimizing our sales pipeline for the future.
A specific example of how I use Sisense for tracking KPIs and optimizing our sales pipeline is that it helps us monitor performance metrics and make informed decisions quickly, while also aiding in the creation of reports for a better understanding of our business processes and overall performance. We also use it to build dashboards for sales, marketing, and operations, providing actionable insights for decision-making across sales, operations, and finance, and it excels at creating interactive dashboards that non-tech staff can navigate.
What is most valuable?
This tool has given me the power to convert data into new analytical applications, giving me transparency about working on multiple platforms, and since it is cloud-based, it combines different pages for a complete progress report. Overall, it is playing a perfect, fantastic role in my organization.
Some of the best features Sisense offers include its speed due to the In-Chip methodology, great visualization that makes BI easier, and the ability to load millions of data in seconds, which did not seem possible with other traditional reporting tools. It also has a robust architecture and provides REST APIs for external access.
I emphasized the In-Chip methodology because it allows for accessing millions of data in a short span of seconds while providing the best visual effects for our business data.
What needs improvement?
Sisense is easy to set up and connect to various formats and platforms, but it could improve its management strategy for dashboards created by multiple users, reducing complexity and enhancing security. Additionally, since Sisense is a heavy application, caution is necessary when deploying this powerful tool in a resource that meets system requirements to avoid performance delays.
I think the navigation and filtering options could enhance the mobile version, but Sisense needs to work on the layout to improve user experience.

Since I started using Sisense, I have never faced any difficulty in shifting my data from the previous cloud while implementing this software, as it is very easy to install and get started. The free trial also helps us identify drawbacks and find exact solutions.

The impact of that speed on my daily work and my team's workflow is significant, as we have been able to load millions of data in fewer seconds, which seemed impossible with traditional tools, enabling us to analyze data and make insights faster for data-driven decisions.
A specific outcome after implementing Sisense is improving our sales results, reducing manual work, and achieving a higher-performing querying capability.
My advice to others looking into using Sisense is that it is the best choice for any company seeking a reliable, powerful, and accurate tool that connects to various databases, providing amazing dashboards and consolidated data resources while ensuring a proper assessment before deployment.

The initial setup and data modeling can take some time to get right, especially if your data environment is complex. Some advanced features also have a learning curve, so new users may need training before they feel fully comfortable.

Sisense helps solve the problem of disconnected, hard-to-understand data. Before using it, we were juggling multiple spreadsheets, databases, and siloed reports that didn’t talk to each other, which made it difficult to get a clear picture. With Sisense, we can bring all of that data together in one place, so we finally have a single source of truth.

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of plug in vendors with usefull stuff. Also, if you invest enough time figuring out the kinks of the javascript and workings of sisense you can develop some really cool features. The cube db system they use is good for a low code approach.
The costumer Support is usually quick and helpfull.
Integration with other systems is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the UI, it is not user friendly, building dashboards and preparing the exports requires quite a lot of time invested into the platform, it is really hard to have a ready to go product even with your own development on top of it.
Ease of use is definitely not a plus on sisense.

I like how easy Sisense makes it to analyze and visualize data. The dashboards are clean, customizable, and very intuitive to use. I also appreciate the speed at which it processes large datasets and how smoothly it integrates data from multiple sources. It helps me combine multiple data sources, visualize trends, and make data-driven decisions quickly. Sisense offers better data integration, more powerful dashboards, and a smoother user experience, so switching made our analytics workflow much more efficient. The initial setup of Sisense was quite easy and straightforward. The onboarding guides and documentation were clear, and most configurations were simple to follow. Overall, the setup process was much easier than expected.

Sometimes large datasets take a little longer to refresh, and a few advanced customization options require more technical knowledge. Adding more built-in visualization styles would also make dashboard creation even easier.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Sisense for its robust data modeling capabilities and the great features it offers, making it a valuable tool for my company’s dashboards and for tracking KPIs in finance, operations, sales, and across other teams. The ability to manage data from different sources effortlessly and apply consistent filters across various data types is fantastic. The integration with other software like Salesforce is also greatly beneficial. Moreover, the support team is exceptional; they are always available, and when we face issues, they promptly set up sessions to guide us through solutions and provide video tutorials. This makes the learning curve much more manageable. I also find the easy-to-use plugins and up-to-date data information particularly beneficial for our analytical processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to perform left joins in Sisense as the platform seems to default to creating inner joins. This necessitates manually writing queries each time I need to execute a left join, which makes this process a bit difficult and cumbersome.

Sisense enhances our data analytics by creating models for a unified view of KPIs across operations, finance, and IT, simplifies filtering across data sources, supports various plugins easily, and maintains up-to-date data, overcoming our lack of an advanced data warehouse system.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Sisense is creating dashboards, C-level dashboards, and data analytics.
I can provide a specific example of a dashboard we have created using Sisense. We have created many widgets inside the dashboard with numerous business rules for creating these dashboards.
What is most valuable?
The best features Sisense offers allow complete transformation. We monetize Sisense to our customers so they can transform it into their application, and it works as a native application. It does not look like a Sisense app. The build process is robust in Sisense, using the ElastiCube to store the data, and we can load as many widgets as possible. The visualizations are very good when compared to other applications.
Sisense has positively impacted my organization by drastically reducing the time taken to build the data cube, and we can see real-time analytics. The time taken to create the reports and dashboards has been drastically reduced by at least 40%.
What needs improvement?
I don't see any shortcomings in Sisense. The ElastiCube data processing should be improved. The build process is already efficient, but there can be slight changes when handling large volume data sets.
I give Sisense a nine because the integration with some third-party tools is good, but Sisense is not able to handle three-dimensional data.

I have been using Sisense for around one year.

Sisense is stable and robust.

Sisense's scalability is excellent. It is scalable to a very large extent and we can integrate any third-party tools.

The customer support is good. We typically get responses within 24 hours.

I previously used Power BI. When compared to Power BI, the visualizations are very good in Sisense, so we have moved to Sisense.

I have seen a return on investment in that we can manage the Sisense environment with a very small number of users. We can have only one admin and we can have as many users as possible.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing shows that pricing is a little bit higher when compared to other applications, but that justifies the use case.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Sisense, we evaluated Qlik Sense, Power BI, and Bold BI.
What other advice do I have?
My advice to others looking into using Sisense is that it's always good to integrate Sisense with their existing systems.
My company has a business relationship with this vendor other than being a customer; we are a partner.
