Powerful dashboards, but setup and data modeling take time to master
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it makes working with complex data. It pulls information from multiple sources into one place and turns it into clear, interactive dashboards that are actually useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and data modeling can take some time to get right, especially if your data environment is complex. Some advanced features also have a learning curve, so new users may need training before they feel fully comfortable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense helps solve the problem of disconnected, hard-to-understand data. Before using it, we were juggling multiple spreadsheets, databases, and siloed reports that didn’t talk to each other, which made it difficult to get a clear picture. With Sisense, we can bring all of that data together in one place, so we finally have a single source of truth.

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of plug in vendors with usefull stuff. Also, if you invest enough time figuring out the kinks of the javascript and workings of sisense you can develop some really cool features. The cube db system they use is good for a low code approach.
The costumer Support is usually quick and helpfull.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the UI, it is not user friendly, building dashboards and preparing the exports requires quite a lot of time invested into the platform, it is really hard to have a ready to go product even with your own development on top of it.
Ease of use is definitely not a plus on sisense.

For dashboard customization, additional layout flexibility, more visualization options, and simpler controls for advanced settings would make it easier for non-technical users.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Sisense makes it to analyze and visualize data. The dashboards are clean, customizable, and very intuitive to use. I also appreciate the speed at which it processes large datasets and how smoothly it integrates data from multiple sources. It helps me combine multiple data sources, visualize trends, and make data-driven decisions quickly. Sisense offers better data integration, more powerful dashboards, and a smoother user experience, so switching made our analytics workflow much more efficient. The initial setup of Sisense was quite easy and straightforward. The onboarding guides and documentation were clear, and most configurations were simple to follow. Overall, the setup process was much easier than expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes large datasets take a little longer to refresh, and a few advanced customization options require more technical knowledge. Adding more built-in visualization styles would also make dashboard creation even easier.

Great for Dashboards, Requires Improvement in Joins
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Sisense for its robust data modeling capabilities and the great features it offers, making it a valuable tool for my company’s dashboards and for tracking KPIs in finance, operations, sales, and across other teams. The ability to manage data from different sources effortlessly and apply consistent filters across various data types is fantastic. The integration with other software like Salesforce is also greatly beneficial. Moreover, the support team is exceptional; they are always available, and when we face issues, they promptly set up sessions to guide us through solutions and provide video tutorials. This makes the learning curve much more manageable. I also find the easy-to-use plugins and up-to-date data information particularly beneficial for our analytical processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to perform left joins in Sisense as the platform seems to default to creating inner joins. This necessitates manually writing queries each time I need to execute a left join, which makes this process a bit difficult and cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense enhances our data analytics by creating models for a unified view of KPIs across operations, finance, and IT, simplifies filtering across data sources, supports various plugins easily, and maintains up-to-date data, overcoming our lack of an advanced data warehouse system.
Powerful Product with Great Support, But Setup Can Be Complex

Quite complex to define efficient Elasticube. Complex on premise install
