What do you like best about the product?
- offers security updates regularly (after every 6 months), including maintenance updates as well.
- Ubuntu is also flexible enough to scale up to meet one's needs.
- Doesn't use many machine resources.
- Ubuntu Server doesnt include a GUI or a lot of the pre-packaged junk that Ubuntu Desktop does. As a result, there are major increases in performance since the operating system doesnt have to process having a GUI open at the same time as running servers.
- Ubuntu is also flexible enough to scale up to meet one's needs.
- Doesn't use many machine resources.

What do you dislike about the product?
- There is a lot of software out there that you can't get due to Ubuntu. For instance, Microsoft softwares, Visual Studio or Photoshop softwraes as well. One might argue that there similar softwares out there which miight work the same as the Microsoft programs, but they are not the same.
- Ubuntu has too many releases too quickly, too many LTS rolling. They should spend more time on current build release rather than ticking up main version number for some of their changes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu Servers are affordable, they are helping our business reduce costs within the existing IT infrastructures. Ubuntu Servers are providing maximum efficiency, delivering results with fewer resources and less computing power, and running on all our major architectures.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- Be hands on when learning how to use Ubuntu Server. With more exposure you will soon get the hang of it.Some people might feel it challenging to install programs through terminals. A basic understanding of commands is needed while installing some programs/software.Ubuntu server one of the best of my go-to server software for a whie now. I feel I can do anything from set up an email server for my company. I can also create an SMS service to communicate with my team via messaging. Try it out!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu Server so appealing is it's cost-effective. Anyone can download a copy of the latest version of Ubuntu Server and deploy it on as many machines as necessary--at zero cost (minus hardware and time)

Easy way to Setup and Deploy Your Application Server
What do you like best about the product?
Mostly the main thing I like from Ubuntu Server is that it is a really easy Server SO to setup a linux environment to deploy your applications.
And if you are deploying your server on a cloud provider it is even better! I have been deploying Linux Server on Azure and Google Cloud Platform and I haven't had any mayor issues so far.

What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, Ubuntu is by far the best and easiest linux distro to setup. I don't have mayor complaints about it.
Sometimes it is quite challenging to setup the permission scheme for different users, but I'd say that that's a generalized issue on all linux servers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main use of Ubuntu Server to me is to deploy Web Application Servers. Mostly tomcat servers in which I host my web applications and REST Services. My test and production environments are Ubuntu Server 18.04.5

What do you like best about the product?
It's the basic and easiest linux OS that's out there in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has some issues with Sound and speakers. Ubuntu community is working great on solving these issues.

It's open source and there's a lot to learn from it for students.

It has free package sources, an interactive command-line terminal, a rich UI interface,use low system requirement,it is fully customizable,its security is too high.
What do you dislike about the product?
No remote desktop session library, third party library override the layout,the suppourt of drivers are absent in most cases,not possible many latest games on ubuntu

I used it to create a cluster using Kubernetes and deployed my web.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike the most about ubuntu is that there are many problems with hardware compatibility like graphic drivers, printers, etc..

I'm now using Ubuntu 20.04 on my personal PC, it's free and easy to use, and it helps me test my multiplatform softwares.
The best OS for low configration system and for developers
What do you like best about the product?
The most thing of this OS is it takes very little memory like right now, I am using Ubuntu 20.04 LTS even before this I used 18 and It is taking only 1.9 GB for OS memory although window take approx 4-5 GB so If your system configuration low like you have only 4 GB Ram That time you can use this one more thing If you want your system work like mac that time It is the best choice and compares to other Linux system It's UI is best like you have ubuntu software you don't need to download each and everything from the terminal and one more thing when your os will hang like windows you don't need to restart you can kill the process from the terminal and most important part is it is free open source so for downloading of deploying any software you don't need to pay to anyone

The most disliked part in all previous versions is it wifi driver like many times it's disconnected from the hotspot, so you need to restart your system but that time I try to download again wifi repo to resolve this issue but that time which repos mentioned in ubuntu official docs did not exist so I go with another one, but none of then is working so, please provide proper support for that

Previously In 2019, there was a lockdown imposed in work that time all persons doing work from home that time I had windows PC with 8 GB ram but that was very slow, so that time I installed ubuntu, and it was working very fast, and for downloading purposes here we have ubuntu software and you know i am working on ubuntu since a very long time to during deployment time I use ubuntu instead for Linux because In ubuntu server it is really easy for me to find errors

If you were tried with hang is the system does not support issue also if you are using another Linux version, then please try ubuntu ones you will definitely liked this one
