Ubuntu a operating system which should you use
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu provides one of best ui which have less distraction, it is best for programmers

It has somewhat difficulty in operating for beginners

What do you like best about the product?
The fact you can't just install any application and also base on the fact that it is more compatible with almost all IDE you can think of and the security is nice and to crown it all it is open source

some times it does hang which is really a pain in the ass

Basically, use in building machine learning models and writing java and python algorithm

What do you like best about the product?
I'm ubuntu-desktop user since their first release (4.10), what I like best from ubuntu is it's community, and easy to use. although when I write this review ubuntu has reached 20.10 release, but I'm still comfort with 18.04.
What do you dislike about the product?
at early release, lot's of hardware and printers won't work correctly, but since ubuntu 14.04 that problem began to solved one by one.
But sometimes when you do major version upgrade, your ubuntu installation will broke, so I recommend do backup of your datas, and do clean install instead of upgrade.

my main work is software developing, ubuntu has provide many developer tools ready to use, and many of them is free-software.

Its very very fast much faster than windows and ios.

Poor Gui. One feels irrated at time the point it loses.

Freely available, easy to install and configure, lot of support in terms of softwares and contents.

Although GNOME is doing job UI can be better and user frier

I use it for personal entertainment purposes. I get required codecs and software to play media. Also don't need to worry about piracy.

Ubuntu is a very good open source Operating System. It has good easy to use UI. It is very secure when compared to windows.

There is nothing to dislike. All features of Ubuntu are good.

Creating shell scripts using VI editor, installing and hosting applications, creating batch applications. One of the most important benefits of Ubuntu is it is very safe as it is less prone to viruses/malwares.

No affinity towards a perticular build environment. Has to me customised for development platform, hacking platform etc.

Web development. Easy installation of commercial and open source products. Documentation and support for almost anything. Great community to gather fixes regarding issues faced.
