What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Tealium is the level of customization it offers. We can micro-target audiences in real time, based on our own business parameters.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s an initial learning curve if you’re coming from another platform, such as Google Tag Manager or another CDP, because Tealium works differently than its competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Tellum is helping us solve is being able to target and identify very specific, micro-level audiences that a traditional CDP doesn’t surface quickly enough for us to take action on.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a data mesh , easy to connect different data sources.
Tealium Data Hub has been a strong addition to our data infrastructure, offering a unified approach to collecting, managing, and activating customer data across channels. Its integration with Tealium iQ makes tag management and event tracking seamless, while the real-time data capabilities enable faster decision-making. We particularly value the flexibility of EventStream and AudienceStream for building actionable audiences without heavy engineering dependency. The platform’s governance features also help maintain data quality and compliance. Overall, it improves operational efficiency and empowers both marketing and analytics teams to collaborate effectively on customer insights and personalization strategies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some legal blocks to use tealium as a collector and a data storage system.
While Tealium Data Hub provides robust capabilities, our experience has been mixed. The platform has a steep learning curve, especially for teams without prior experience in Tealium iQ or data layer design. Debugging and troubleshooting can be time-consuming, and documentation is sometimes not as clear or updated as expected. Performance can also vary depending on implementation complexity, particularly with real-time event processing. Additionally, the cost can be a concern compared to alternative solutions offering similar capabilities. Overall, while powerful, the platform requires significant expertise and ongoing effort to fully realize its value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tealium Customer Data Hub solves the challenge of fragmented customer data across web, mobile, and backend systems by centralizing collection, standardizing schemas, and enabling real-time data activation. It eliminates reliance on siloed tools and reduces inconsistencies caused by poor tagging or lack of governance. For us, this means improved data quality, faster implementation cycles, and better cross-channel visibility into user behavior. The ability to stream validated data into downstream systems supports more accurate analytics, personalization, and decision-making, while reducing engineering overhead and ensuring compliance with privacy and data governance requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a powerful tool that allows us to unlock amazing personalized use cases in our mobile and digital space to create meaningful business outcomes. We've closed the blind spots in our digital space and engaged in very personalized journeys for our existing customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time to learn the tool and also code/configure the data extensions and functions to enable follow-on use cases requires specialized knowledge and centralized teams. Looking forward to the intuitive AI layer that is coming to empower our power business users and product teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Closing blind spots in our digital customer journeys and helping us capture incremental sales opportunities, coupled with personalized journeys for customers to help them re-engage where they left off when returning to our mobile app or website.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps target customers for the best profit by making sure they’re reached based on their profile and what they like or dislike, which supports retention. It’s also easy to use and straightforward to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t found any reason not to like CDH. I’m also not sure why this section requires 150 characters about things you dislike—it feels like it’s prompting negative feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assisting with tagging proper customers for things that relate to their customer profile. Cost savings in ad cost. Assist with customer retention as the information is appropriate for said customer.

What do you like best about the product?
Tealium has become our source of truth for customer data - it gives us a single, reliable view of our customers that we use to power segmentation and drive marketing toward our highest value audiences. The ability to identify and activate affinity-based segments across channels has been a game changer for how we think about lifecycle and loyalty marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like most enterprise CDPs, making changes often requires IT involvement, which can slow down our ability to move quickly as a marketing team. More self-service capability for marketers would go a long way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tealium is solving our customer identity and data fragmentation problem - giving us one reliable view of the customer across touchpoints. That single source of truth is what powers our segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and loyalty programs. Without it, we’d be marketing to the same person like they’re three different people across in-store, online, and app.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Tealium Customer Data Hub is how it brings everything data collection, identity resolution, and activation into one unified ecosystem. Having worked across healthcare, finance, and e-commerce, I’ve seen how fragmented customer data can get, and Tealium really solves that at scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Tealium Customer Data Hub is that the learning curve can be pretty steep, especially for teams that are new to event-driven architectures or customer data platforms. While tools like Tealium iQ, EventStream, and AudienceStream are powerful, understanding how they all fit together and designing a clean, scalable data layer takes time and experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In most organizations, data lives in silos analytics tools, marketing platforms, CRMs, and backend systems all capture pieces of the customer journey, but they don’t talk to each other effectively. Tealium helps unify that through a standardized data layer and centralized event collection. This has been a big benefit for me because it ensures consistency in data across tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and downstream marketing platforms, reducing discrepancies and debugging effort.

What do you like best about the product?
Synergy with different silos, and the ability to structure it to the data illiterates. The marketing segmentation seems logical and achievable, and that distinguishes the hub from very technical platforms,
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to understand the workings with the different sponsors - from AWS, Linkedin, Epsilon, and others, how the fee structures are made to manage for the point of view of the CFO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using data from the point of view for marketing and operations and increase the EBITDAs for the company. It is an important tool for customer retention and analytics without compromising privacy.
