Digital proposals have transformed our workflows and now streamline signatures and approvals

What is our primary use case?

Our main use case for PandaDoc is that we use it on a daily basis to help do our job quicker and more efficiently. We needed a product to produce professional-looking proposals with digital signature capability. We tried several market-leading products, and PandaDoc was the only one that delivered the features we needed. It helps us to sign contracts for payroll and HR as well as gather the necessary documents to register with the IRS. We have also used this tool for document checklists and ACH authorization. It is an excellent tool for compiling customer proposals and external and internal documents or policies that need to be signed. We also use it for acceptable use policies, waiver forms, equipment forms, and any other document requiring a signature.

What is most valuable?

Using PandaDoc for proposals and forms has changed my day-to-day workflow by making our documents look more professional, which helps our clients trust our services. It has also saved us time through sending the documents via PandaDoc. Clients just need to open their phone and sign the document, thereby saving a lot of time and cost. It has also reduced errors because the documents are digitally signed, not manually. It has been very easy to use for both our clients and customers and team members, and the customer support has also been excellent.

The best features PandaDoc offers include templates, dashboard, autofill option, and the ability to update documents without trashing the previous documents. The dashboard and the autofill option help me day-to-day, as autofill helps to prefill and walk our clients through where they are supposed to fill in what information and when. This helps to save time because we are able to walk them through contract signing, and it also makes it look more professional and easy.

I would add that the ease of constructing proposals, digital signing of documents, renewal reminders, and user-friendliness are important features. It also gives transparency into what the customer is filling out, especially with the fillable forms. PandaDoc has positively impacted my organization by significantly improving standardization across the company and efficiency in proposal writing. It is easy to use from both the client's and employees' perspectives, and we have also been able to save a lot of time and cost while reducing errors. In terms of time and cost savings, we have saved 30 to 40 percent of our time and 20 to 35 percent of costs, especially when meeting the cost of traveling. Proposals have increased, and it is faster to send the proposal by 50 percent. We have also increased our accuracy with approval workflows, with time saved using contract templates and sending, and increased visibility into the contract signing flow.

What needs improvement?

PandaDoc can be improved by making formatting and adding graphics and visual elements much easier. I would like to see many features enhanced. Better integrations would be valuable, and sometimes it can be slow to load, especially when dealing with a lot of documents, which should be improved.

I have been using PandaDoc for the past five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

PandaDoc is very stable, but sometimes it can be slow to load.

PandaDoc's scalability is very scalable and handles my organization's growth efficiently.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is excellent, with a very proactive, responsive, and helpful experience. I would rate the customer support 9 out of 10.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been that PandaDoc is one of the most effective tools. The setup is very easy through the support, which helps in every step and every learning curve, making everything easy.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing PandaDoc, we also evaluated ConnectWise as an option.

What other advice do I have?

I would advise others looking into using PandaDoc that it is much more cost-effective, easy to use, and has a better editor compared to other tools, making it a great choice. My experience with PandaDoc has been great, and I rate it an 8 out of 10. I rate it an eight because it is a very great tool where we send contracts to clients for approval and signing. It is a very seamless process that saves us time and costs while reducing errors. PandaDoc is a great tool, especially for professionals that require compliance but also ease of use. Forwarding documents to multiple people to sign is easy and hassle-free. It works great for our industry, which is advantageous. It is also very cost-effective, and any organization can afford it.

Straightforward Administration and Easy Contract Adjustments

What do you like best about the product?
Very straightforward to administer, easy to adjust contracts. Salesforce integration works without a ton of administration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really stands out negatively, could use more documentation around the Salesforce sync, if I have to do a more complex CPQ implementation down the line I'm not sure what kind of support I would get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have CPQ so we need a tool that reflects our general product suite in document form flexibly, and provides E-Sign

Effortless Document Management with PandaDoc

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to build out user-templates and share them with the whole team seamlessly. The quote builder is great because it allows the team to easily choose from products and have most calculations automatically done, making the process more efficient. It also lets us update contracts and templates, ensuring those changes are reflected across all of our templates. The templates make everything more efficient and allow the team to quickly put together and send documents to clients. The quote builder automatically calculates pricing, including recurring charge calculations, so the team doesn't have to spend time on math, reducing the chances of mistakes in insertion orders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more calculations/formulas could be integrated into the quote builder without being behind another pay wall. Also, it would be nice to have more integrations with other products and services to automate the whole workflow better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PandaDoc streamlines drafting templates and automates calculations, saving us from using clunky Adobe Sign. It lets us update templates seamlessly, quickly send documents, and use a quote builder to prevent errors, improving our efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
I like PandaDoc for its speed and scalability, which make managing agreements and templates efficient. I also appreciate how easy it is to use, especially with its clean user experience. Making documents from templates is straightforward, and the initial setup of PandaDoc was simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the UX feels a bit dated. The styles, design, UX, and UI could use some improvement.

Fast Document Creation with Templates, Smart Pricing Tables, and Smooth Co-Authoring

What do you like best about the product?
I like that with PandaDoc I don’t have to spend much time creating new documents by building off of previously accepted templates and/or previously accepted text blocks, I just combine the two and move on from there. The auto-calculation of totals and adjustments in the configurable pricing tables (once the rules are established) are also nice; I love that I don't have to spend time manually entering figures or making manual adjustments. Co-authoring with PandaDoc is fantastic as well, I love that the changes are tracked cleanly and simply and that I can easily view prior versions of the document and I never worry about losing my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations in editing images can make things difficult at times when needing more precise control over image size after inserting them into your document. This is why I generally edit my visual elements before adding content as a pdf, it works, but having more options for flexibility in this area would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a well-organized document with PandaDoc takes very little time, since all working documents live in one place; therefore if I were to make a change to a template because of some unexpected change, the change will immediately affect all applicable documents, without any version conflict issues. Additionally, I find the document tracking capability of PandaDoc to be intelligent, allowing me to determine when a document has been opened and how much time a user spent reviewing the document.

What do you like best about the product?
Clients find it easy to use, and it’s simple enough for staff to use as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn’t integrate with Lawpay, which is our firm’s payment gateway. It's the most popular law firm payment gateway in the USA, so it would be mutually beneficial. In addition, some extensions such as content locking are behind a paywall, the feature seems like it should be available universally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to struggle to get signatures from our clients, but now we don’t.

What do you like best about the product?
I find PandaDoc to be friendly and easy to use, making it relatively straightforward for everyone on our team. It's a cost-effective alternative, saving us money compared to when we used DocuSign. I also appreciate how setting up documents with PandaDoc takes less time than dealing with paper, which helps us be more environmentally friendly. These aspects make it a valuable tool for us.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the content library and templates available in PandaDoc. It's nice and smooth and allows us to make great templates for our sales orders and other documents. Additionally, the integration with Salesforce and other tools is important. Having different moving parts and data points to pull from in our CRM, the ability to automate and personalize them quickly is extremely valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes things get a little wacky when moving items around, but that's just as much a function of user error as it is anything else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use PandaDoc for fulfilling contracts and signing documents with clients. It provides an easy, device-agnostic solution for quick document signing and making beautiful templates. The content library and template features, along with seamless Salesforce integration, automate and personalize our contracts and sales orders efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of using PandaDoc, which makes sending contracts much smoother. It's really convenient to see if the prospect has viewed the contract and how long they stayed on it, it helps me adjust my sales strategy. The collaborative aspect is great, it allows my manager and the ops team to spot potential errors when drafting contracts. And being able to avoid errors thanks to synchronization with the CRM is also a big plus for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps integrate AI directly into PandaDoc to help with certain writing tasks or make me more autonomous with the tool. The AI could suggest adding a product, highlight an inconsistency in the commitment duration or the start dates of contracts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use PandaDoc to avoid contract errors, synchronize with the CRM, see if the prospect has viewed the contract, and thanks to its collaborative aspect, it simplifies error detection for my team.

What do you like best about the product?
PandaDoc is easy to use, its pricing is attractive, and even in the free version, the core features are sufficient to meet essential needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s a shame that you can only send one document at a time: it uses up two credits and requires two separate actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PandaDoc allows me to quickly sign contracts with my clients, thanks to a signing certificate.
