The MaaS360 tool is great, but the GUI needs help.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage all of the iPads we manage pretty seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When searching devices by name and selecting all of them, there should be an option to wipe all devices in that search.
When selecting a user group and refreshing the data on the user group page, the refresh brings you back to the whole user list instead of just refreshing the user list within that group.
When selecting a device to wipe, a window pops up where you need to scroll down to click the submit button. It should not be like that.
You also cannot Tab to choices and press enter. You must click everything. It should not be like that.
When searching for users with similar names, there should be a select all option.
When selecting users when searching by name, there should be an option to add the users that came up in the search result to an existing group.
When bulk-adding users, there should be a selection to add to an existing group.
We are wasting a significant amount of time trying to work around the above nuances of MaaS360.
I know there are ways to perform some of the tasks above more efficiently during the setup, but the above should work as well.

MaaS360 UEM
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of the User Interface, I can navigate through the portal and switch between portals quickly and easily. I also love the fact that there are default policies that are readily available to use and customize for a quick setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have an issue with the fact that with remote control I have to get a 3rd party license to integrate with MaaS360, with my latest development I have noticed that I will have to buy an Intune license to do conditional access through Azure AD.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We support a lot of clients with different requirements and all with different OSes within their environments and it is easy to help them as quickly as possible. The Kiosk Mode feature is the one we use the most and all the clients are happy with the functions of the Kiosk Mode.

I think the IBM Security MaaS360 with Watson is headed in the right direction. However, the affordability of the product is very high compared to similar products in the market.
MaaS360 with Watson

The performance of website can be good as it is slow and sometimes frustrating.

It ensures security in any device like windows,Linux, Android, etc

It's an excellent unified endpoint manager platform but sometimes it might be slow and underperforming but the quality of customer support will be good as the product itself fro IBM.
Excellent MDM SECUTITY solutions
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy handling and ease of integration with devices as well as the number of options and policies that can be applied to devices. After the implementation of this solution, we have been able to have control of mobile devices and we have been able to apply security policies to the devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some devices, it can present communication problems and they can be blocked due to a lack of communication with the application. Technical support could be better.

Comprehensive asset management and deployment
What do you like best about the product?
The software makes it easy for our IT team to deploy different levels of hardware and make sure everything is assigned and given correct privileges to certain individuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few limitations in the ability to customize the deployment of an asset. For a computer, there still takes some manual work on our end to fully set up a computer for an employee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you have a lot of devices to deploy, the ability to set up things faster is crucial and Maas360 helps with that. It also helps us keep records of devices and track them down if needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say try a trial of it and see if it fits your business needs. There needs to be some workflows in place to really take advantage of it.
MDM Solution That Works
What do you like best about the product?
The application once setup is very easy to manipulate and install on devices. The management console is fairly easy to use as well. We have already used it a few times to access "lost" devices and recover them. It is mainly being used to push down apple apps to the devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup costs were not expected and the training was okay. It took a while to get the actual account setup but I don't think it was due to the actual software vendor but due to the sales person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an MDM to send application updates to our apple devices that utilized a company apple account. We were able to setup each device and easily push down the updates to the devices without having to personally touch each device. The bonus is the lost device recovery feature which we have taken advantage of recently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
make sure that you have investigated other MDMs, this one is definitely a good solution but if I were aware of the upfront costs, then I would have probably selected a different vendor.
Great MDM product with extensive capabilities but it's not flawless
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the versatility of the tool and the fact that it supports various operating systems. We also use MaaS360 for pushing applications to end devices via policies. The interface is quite intuitive and beginner-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much that I dislike about MaaS360 apart from the fact that we've experienced minor glitches and unexpected behavior. Creating an application package is not very straightforward and there are a lot of moving parts where things can go wrong. When we push apps to end clients we've noticed slight inconsistencies in the deployment and oftentimes the script that installs the application fails for some reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we solve with MaaS360 is the mobile device management at the company. We have both Windows and Mac estate along with Android and iPhone devices. It's rare for an MDM product to support all these but MaaS360 covers our assets. With MaaS360 we can easily lock and wipe the device remotely if need be. We're also pushing new applications at scale via MaaS360 and that simplifies the installation process as it happens silently in the background.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product with extensive functionality but it's not working 100% reliably.
Our IT Team loves it
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of organization. We're also able to send sensitive info to upper management with group designation. Very intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
A little uncertain when to override or wipe out a doc and start over. Not really a program issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits: no more password protecting sensitive info
IBM MaaS360 MDM User

It is pretty powerful and flexible. It also offers location of devices which works well when trying to track something down. It also works for Apple, Android and PC devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a little complicated getting started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to add phones as well as tablets and use them to track some of our truck locations. I am able to push out just the apps I want our people to use and restrict what I don't want them to use.
