Great for capacity planning
What do you like best about the product?
Using the planning tools in Turbonomic, I am able to run multiple hardware replacement scenarios to determine the most cost-effective configuration to grow or reconfigure my VM environment. In addition to the planning capabilities, Turbonomic also continually balances workload in my environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The capabilities are incredible, but the interface is not always intuitive. That said, support is fantastic - when I have a business problem to solve, they will help me use the tools to resolve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe my environment is more reliable as a result of the actions that Turbonomic initiates. In addition, I feel confident in properly sizing my environment so that I am not over-spending on hardware.

it just makes sense to have your servers on when needed.

would be nice if there was a wizard or something.

The dashboard is exactly what you would want in this software. It’s easy to use while still having a lot of control and customization. Great visual reporting .
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to connect more than one account is a limitation. Also there are still lots of opportunities to integrate with other platforms beyond what they do now.

Being able to save money by conserving unnecessary run time. Clients can help manage their instances as well
