One of the leading Enterprise Asset Management softwares. Highly recommended.
What do you like best about the product?
Supply chain management features, Customizations, setting various priorities according to our requirements, brand reliability, and good after-sales and customer support are just some of the best parts.
What do you dislike about the product?
No support for SAP. It's a bit overpriced. Not very user-friendly. Our IT department finds it tough to work around a few issues. Not happy with the search feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time-saving thanks to easy duplication of job plans. SOA framework is good and very beneficial. Maintenance maanagement. Our consultants can create, track, modify and close tickets more efficiently.
The Cadillac of CMMS
What do you like best about the product?
I love the one stop shopping for PM, work orders and calibration that you get with Maximo. These guys wrote the book on calibrations and it shows. I have worked in several other electronic CMMS systems and none of them compare. The automation and scheduling take what typically is a very paper-heavy process to 100% digital. In our heavily regulated industry, it made retrieval of documentation for audits a breeze. Finally, compared to the many electronic systems that I have worked in throughout my career this system has the least number of issues with bugs I have ever seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a bad thing that I can say about this system. If I am forced to call out something, then I would say that the most prohibitive aspect would be cost. I have attempted to steer multiple employers towards this system and found the reason for most to go another direction being cost and/or integration capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Maximo we were able to transform a paper-based system to be 100% electronic. In an FDA regulated industry this is a huge win due to the record retention expectations. It also made the total asset history accessible with a few key strokes which is a lifesaver when being audited.
Easier and simple workflow and asset management with IBM Maximo
What do you like best about the product?
We are using IBM Maximo to manage our electric ovens and servers, and the tool gives us the possibility to have all the information about each equipment through a centralized database. When it was purchased, when a particular part was exchanged, when the warranty ends, and when the next service is due. This gives us more peace of mind because everything is done automatically. Technicians and users can access the information and also feed preventive and updated data. The reports obtained are easy to understand and even someone who is not familiar with using the tool can easily understand
What do you dislike about the product?
We have no problem using the tool. On the contrary. The whole facilitated process that IBM Maximo has given us was a great surprise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a big expense with maintenance that was unnecessary and we had no idea which part would really need to be replaced, what period would be the ideal time to carry out routine maintenance and revisions. We even had one of our ovens serviced 5 times in a week. As we make bread and panettone, we couldn't stand still and so we had to take urgent action without a detailed study of what really needed to be repaired. With the use of IBM Maximo in a short time, it was possible to accurately catalog parts, purchase periods, warranty, having coherent, clear and real information from technicians and users of the equipment. Now it's easier to know when, what and how to buy a certain part so that the useful life of the equipment is even more extended, providing us with great savings on unnecessary expenses

IBM Maximo is very scalable, agile and enables us to respond to our business changes very quickly. I love the service team constantly upgrade this tool to the latest version which comes up with new features.

I haven't experienced much that I can dislike because this tool is a pursuit of happiness in matters of managing assets effectively.

IBM Maximo allows us to streamline asset management operations in our organization. Its analytical capabilities enable us to have a clear overview of the entire lifecycle of an Asset

There is nothing in particular that I dislike about this product. After using other asset management products such as HP Asset Manager and Manage engine, I can confidently say that Maximo fulfils the gaps which were found in other products.

We are able to unify the entire asset management process. More significant insights into each lifecycle phase of an asset allow us to extend the asset's lifecycle.
