Easy to use, affordable, no issues
What do you like best about the product?
It is an easy to use, affordable tool. We've never had any issues.

There are not any downsides to using Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting to multiple company accounts. It makes scheduling social media posts in advance, easy, and we've never had problems with posts not going out, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite saves me lots of time every single day with its intuitive interface. It's so easy to schedule social media posts in batches! The platform offers a streamlined process that allows me to manage multiple accounts for several clients effortlessly. The analytics tools are also top-notch, giving us valuable insights into the performance of our posts. This has helped us optimize our content strategy and engage more effectively with our audience. I highly recommend Hootsuite to anyone looking to simplify their social media management and boost productivity!
What do you dislike about the product?
I once had a customer service query and was not happy that there doesn't seem a phone number. I prefer talking to customer service directly instead of using a chat box. Given the price of the application, I would love to see a robust phone helpline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling an ongoing large volume of posts with relatively little time spent.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it helps me plan out all my content! Saves me a ton of time. I also love the webinars they host & have atteded many of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't tag all accounts if they aren't a business account on LI, FB, which sucks. I also wish their insights for reccomendations were better.

saving me time, helping me track analytics, helping me stay up to date with monthly holidays, keeping me informed with webinars
Great system for multiple social media use
What do you like best about the product?
We love the fact that Hootsuite let's us plan ahead, provides suggestions and has multiple way of creating reports and tracking analytics for all of our social media pages. The analytics are up to date and connect directly with the account. Plus the ease of tagging the diverse social media pages while creating and customizing one post is a plus. We use it almost every day and post around 3-4 posts per week.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price. We are a non-profit, 5 person staff and the price can sometimes be hard to handle, especially since it went up. However, as long as we continue shwcasing the benefit of it to our board we should be good to go. They really should install a non-profit price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The social media management (over 8 social media pages for both the Chamber and clients) is a plus. Being able to post and cross promote from diferent pages from one account is a definite plus, especially being a one person team from a Chamber with only 5 staff members.
Like a virtual assistant for a team of one!
What do you like best about the product?
I work as a public information officer in law enforcement, and I am the sole PIO in my agency. Managing six social media platforms alone seems impossible. But Hootsuite makes it a breeze! Not only can I publish content across multiple platforms at once, but I can also personalize it for each platform! Not only that, but I can schedule things in advance, making Hootsuite almost a necessary use for daily functions! It is extremely easy to use and user-friendly, and so integrating it as part of my daily tasks was a breeze. While I have not had to rely on customer support a whole lot, when I have called upon them, they have been VERY responsive and accommodating. I would recommend Hootsuite to anyone in my industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to using Hootsuite as a law enforcement public information officer is that sometimes things happen that force you to cancel planned posts. But that's more a downside of the world and the job in general, not so much for Hootsuite. And in fact, Hootsuite makes it extremely easy to cancel those scheduled posts!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, the biggest problem Hootsuite solves is time management and cross-posting. While our social channels will be unique in some ways, as a public information officer, our primary role is to get the right information to the right people at the right time so they can make the right decisions. Often times, that means pushing content through multiple platforms. Hootsuite makes this very easy.

Additionally, the availability of training resources, webinars, and community forums provides further support, ensuring users have access to guidance when they need it.

The interface can feel somewhat crowded, which may require an adjustment period—particularly for users who are new to social media management platforms. Additionally, the pricing structure may be a consideration for smaller teams or individual users, as some may find themselves paying for features that are not fully utilized.

Hootsuite addresses several key challenges that come with managing multiple social media accounts—especially in a school district setting where communication needs to be timely, consistent, and clear. Our main issue is too many platforms, not enough time. Hootsuite solves this by allowing you to create and schedule content across all platforms from one dashboard. You can plan posts in advance, align messaging across channels, and ensure important updates—like closures, events, or enrollment reminders—go out at the right time without needing to manually post in real time.

What do you dislike about the product?
One notable downside is HootSuite's handling of holidays. The platform seems to ignore Christian and federal holidays while including numerous lesser-known national days throughout the year. This can be frustrating for users who rely on the platform to acknowledge significant holidays, making the content calendar feel less relevant and useful during these times. I believe it would be best if you had an option, like the iPhone, to select or add holiday preference to help better get and remember certain days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to log into each and every social media page to post, everything is in one spot and easy to post and schedule for the week. Another solution is the ability to get messages as well in one spot making you not have so many tabs open up on your browser.
