hate social media management? this was the answer for me.
What do you like best about the product?
scheduling, duplicating, re-using content and just dealing with the one interface instead of logging into all accounts. somed management is impossible without something like this and hootsuite has a nice chrome integration makes things easy to schedule while browsing.
What do you dislike about the product?
the chrome integration is buggy with some web pages, particularly where the area available to click is small and the hootsuite integration icon covers a lot of it. so, it can be buggy on certain things, but nothing that's a deal killer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i have to have a social media presence on LI, IG, Twitter and this solves my problems on personal branding just to maintain a basic presence that validates who I am and what i do, shows i can use tools to engage and manage my time wisely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
this is an industry standard for a reason. serves most purposes for individuals who just need normal levels of social media posting, management, presence, including instagram photo cropping, and you can upgrade for more SM platform support and analytics.

I love the ease of use provided by this program.

Sometimes the streams lag and very important content that comes through isn't replied to within SLA.

We are reaching our clients' customers faster than manually checking their social media accounts.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can easily manage all social media sites from one spot. I don't need to click around to various tabs and paste the same caption over and over. It's so simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some restrictions on the features, for example I'm unable to add multiple photos to an Instagram post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I save so much time not having to go to each individual site to make posts. I'm also able to easily schedule and set up a calendar of all my posts so I can ensure everything will be posted right on time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it. It may not seem like it would save that much time at first, but it absolutely does!

What do you like best about the product?
The calendar view really helps me plan out my posts and make sure I'm not overloading my audience's feed. It also lets me easily drag and drop scheduled posts to another day if I suddenly have a post that needs to happen immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
The news feeds can get a little overwhelming from time to time, but those are easy to customize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a way to schedule posts to go out simultaneously on our Instagram and our FB page. I also wanted a way to schedule Instagram posts ahead of time so I didn't have to worry about posting something I needed to go up on a specific day.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the scheduling section of Hootsuite. It makes it easy to see when I have content booked and where I have gaps.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that require your accounts to be a certain way (facebook business account linked to instagram) in order to post. If your company doesn't have all of those, it's a pain.

Hootsuite solved the issue of having to make the same post on multiple platforms. This saves me time and money.

What do you like best about the product?
The best and most useful element is being able to schedule all of the major social media platforms and view them on a calendar. When you have more than one account (say two or three brands) that you manage, you can see how they are on a chronological sequence which really helps with organization.
Another great feature are the streams, you can get any important activity from any and all platforms on all accounts with a quick glance, being freed from checking into every platform from every account; if somebody retweets or mentions you, you will know ASAP and be able to respond accordingly.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback has got to be the learning curve, but that's as bad as it's going to get. Put your time in and it is simple as can get once you get the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem would be the time invested in posting on social media platforms. With this platform you free up time to work on the creative process and innovation instead of just putting in the foot work of logging in, uploading, captioning, hashtaging and posting on atleast four platforms per account.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that potential users be extremely honest with themselves to make sure that they are going to make their investment worthwhile. Make sure that you learn how to do social media marketing and branding to make Hootsuite really shine, otherwise you'll be using a 50 caliber handgun as a squirtgun.

I like that I can have all my client's social media in one place. It makes it easy for my team to post and see who has done what.

In the beginning I couldn't post to Instagram.

We solved a time issues by using Hootsuite instead of doing everything individually. We have more time to create now.
Intuitive and Easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the site makes it very easy for me to manage several accounts at once. I can easily stay on top of posting and engagement for my clients. The batch post feature has been a dream for me and the smart technology makes posting to individual platforms less of a headache.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that I did not have to post different images separately for each platform, that can be a little time consuming as I take the same image and resize individually to the specs of the platform it will post to.

I can manage more clients social media much more efficiently and in less time. It no longer takes me an entire day to create a content calendar then upload individually to each platform.
