Great tool for scheduling social media messages
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is really simple to use and easy to navigate. With the latest updates, the platform itself seems to get better when it comes to tagging within posts and personalising your messages. It is great to also be able to see all your upcoming posts and on top of that, how they are doing all in one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is unfortunate that the free platform really restricts the number of messages that you are able to send out. Personally I think it should be double than what they allow - which is 30 at the moment. It is also not too convenient to create two different posts to be able to tag organisations/people on Twitter and LinkedIn.

It is a great tool if you want to reduce your overall workload and make sure your social media channels are continually pushing out content.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the customizations of the control panel, where I can access different channels and functions (e.g., publications, timelines, mentions, etc.), all in one easy-to-manage interface. It also makes social listening easier instead of having to log in and manage notifications manually on each individual platform. In general, Hootsuite is easy to learn from its experience with other SaaS platforms. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. And they offer a ton of free resources to help you catch up with the platform and social network administration in general, which is good, with its paid version I can have control of all social networks and gives greater coverage to my company's advertising solutions, is a great tool to manage from my phone being anywhere in the World!
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations and features / functionality could be better, the free platform has many limitations on its functions which made it necessary to use the paid version and access other social networking platforms, Sometimes, keyword columns are not updated and I had to remove and recreate the search, or schedule publications and photos do not come out. I think they have solved some of these problems over time. There is also a maximum number of columns you can create in the free version, so sometimes I encountered problems where I wanted to use more features, but could not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because the company for which I work uses another third party application (Main Link) to track visitors and traffic sources to our website, we use the free version of Hootsuite to make publications, videos and images with content related to campaigns and advertising companies seeking our marketing and advertising services, through the networks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite provides analysis on each of your chosen platforms, located on your control panel, to help you identify the most optimal times to schedule each publication to be sent; this is especially useful for days you know you will be on the move and/or will not have access to technology. You can also scroll through past social network publications, save unfinished drafts and increase publications for content promotions; this will provide you with more information and/or a better understanding of which of your efforts and/or CTAs work best. The Hootsuite platform has several analyses and reports that you can export so that your team(s) can measure things like conversion rates, marketing and sales initiatives, and improvements in monthly social capital I recommend it.
Hootsuite is a huge time saver!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can add 3 profiles for free to Hootsuite this is enough to get clients going and it's a huge time saver for me! There are many apps that you can install inside of Hootsuite which allow you to curate content from within Hootsuite and publish it directly to your social media outlets which is a huge help!
What do you dislike about the product?
Having limits on the amount of free posts that I can make with a free account is something I don't like, it's hard especially if my client has just 3 profiles and needs posts everyday of the week or similar since Hootsuite only allows 30 posts for free. As soon as one set of posts is posted then you can add more, but it's something that I would love to be able to schedule and kind of put on the back burner so that I can work with the client in other ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to assist clients with keeping their social media consistent and keeping their pages and streams alive so that they are always able to keep their audience engaged and moving forward!
Hootsuite takes the hassle out of social scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
When you put the content into Hootsuite, you can see exactly what it is going to look like on the social media channel. The calendar view is great because you can see everything that is scheduled for the week and you can filter by channel as well. We don't use the monitoring a whole lot because we do that manually in the channels, but it does look very promising.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations such as not being able to tag people in instagram photos or to post multiple photos in instagram posts can be a little hassle, but the number of times we post multiple photos is so small.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to make time to post on social ever day is such a weight lifted off of our team.
Schedule, prepare and kick butt on social media!
What do you like best about the product?
I was a Hootsuite user for many years, and I have to say I liked that they were always trying to better their product and not stay stagnant. Hootsuite was the first social media planning product I used and although I don't use it now in my line of work, I think it set the bar high and is the reason behind social media now having their own scheduling built-in. Having the ability to plan, schedule and collaborate on social media posts with your team can bring your team or company to the next level. I enjoyed the planning features, the scheduling of posts in advance and seamless sync with social media. One last thing is the Hootsuite offers a Hootsuite University with tutorials and allows team members to take an in-depth look at the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the time of using Hootsuite, I can't really think of anything that I particularly disliked about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit of being able to collaborate with a team on projects and scheduling was really the biggest problem solver for me. It also gave me the ability to oversee interns as they were learning the ropes of editing photos and creating captions to ensure it was on-brand for my company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
At this point, I think if you are a small company you should be fine to use the scheduling and analytics built into current social media. However, if managing anything above and beyond what is typical this could be a great tool to use to better enhance your performance. You could also use Hootsuite to gain a better understanding of how well your company is doing on social media and if you're interacting and connecting well with consumers.

It is not possible to schedule Instagram stories

I can schedule the entire month's programming for a client in just one day, a unique convenience.

The fact that posts can be created, scheduled for much in advance, creates a balance between going on vacation and an active social media platform,

The preview function often doesn't work well on Hootsuite.

The problem of maintaining regular posts even when the social media manager is on a vacation.

What do you like best about the product?
Seeing the condensed version of the posts in the publishing schedule. It's easy to see all the posts lined up and ready for multiple channels and mediums all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being to see who you're tagging as you type like you do in Twitter. It means I have to have a separate window open for testing which feels redundant
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're finding scheduling tweets for an event ahead of time allows us to focus more in the moment on live-tweeting live content, vs. worrying about housekeeping type tweets, welcoming and closing tweets and links to our website.
This has been the best tool for me to reach my audiences.

The fact that it's a one stop shop to post a message across all my social media platforms.

The Image editing limitations. I think an option to shirk a photo should be available. Sometimes, if the picture don't fit, I have to come up with something else cause I do have time to do it manually.

I don't have to log on to the different S/M platforms and copy message. The benefits is that I save so much time.

I would advising Hoot-suite to manage your social media communications and information to your followers. It a great marketing strategy to get everything out at once and organized. It is a time saver in our busy world.
