All in One Resource for Social Media Pros

What do you like best about the product?
I feel like Hootsuite came in before social media jobs were officially a thing. They were a great option for companies without a social person because you could schedule and go about with your day, but now that social media is a full time job, it allows for the pros to get more done and focus on strategy without the worry of live posting 100% of the time
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would allow automatic posting to Instagram vs. a notification to post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ideal posting times of after hours, it has been a lifesaver in the scheduling department. We're able to schedule a head of time and not worry about drops over the weekend or having to put in extra hours

Hootesuit is simple, easy and a time saver

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how all my social is in one location and I can check the progress of my posts all in one spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a disconnect between our Facebook page and Hootesuite when I try to schedule Facebook posts through Hootesuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am saving time by posting and scheduling posts through Hootesuite and the benefit of seeing what I've posted, what's been reposted, likes, etc all in one location is a major feature I didn't realize the how easy it allows for me to track my posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great asset to any social media users and fairly easy to learn and teach others how to use.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ease of use in managing multiple social media networks all from one place, scheduling updates, collaborating and delegating as a team, and the customized analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest thing that comes to mind is that add-ons get expensive quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Hootsuite when I was an intern at a major publishing house to schedule a social media marketing campaign weekly and into the future after my internship.

Great platform for social media management

What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can, even on the free version, connect multiple social media platforms and see what you have scheduled, what has been posted, replies, etc. You can also create different tabs that are specific to each platform. It is AMAZING!!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about Hootsuite is that it doesn't post to Instagram for you. I would say, however, that this would more than likely become a feature in the near future!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management! I am able to schedule out multiple posts in advance. It takes a ton of stress off!

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to schedule posts, track influencers, have multiple streams for different platforms, and manage multiple dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
With all its different benefits, Hootsuite can become difficult to figure out and setting up streams is quite a process sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have to post multiple times on different platforms––we just have one post and it goes on multiple channels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You'll need the pro version to unlock all its benefits, but it's worth it.

A Great Way to Start Off or Grow!

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about HootSuite is the ability to post the same message across multiple platforms simultaneously. As a small nonprofit without much money for marketing, using 3 social media platforms for free is really all we need at this point in time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the recent privacy concerns related to Facebook, HootSuite doesn't allow pages to be tagged anymore. It's a hassle because I then have to go back through posts and tag them when I didn't have to before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A business problem that I've solved with HootSuite is making sure all the posts go out to all the social media platforms we use. Nothing gets left out or unnecessarily duplicated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely give HootSuite a try if you're looking for a great way to implement and monitor social media.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hootsuite primarily for Twitter, but to post Tweets to multiple accounts throughout the day. Hootsuite allows me to schedule Tweets for early in the morning before I get to work, and then once I get to work I can schedule the rest of my Tweets for the day in the morning. That way, I can focus on other things throughout the day. I like that you are able to create lists in Hootsuite so you can easily see users that you actively engage with or would like to engage with. You can easily attach media and shortlinks all within the compose window. Finally, you can respond to Tweets and view mentions and retweets in real time, which is something that is not offered by all social media programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the most basic version of Hootsuite that we use, you can only have one user on it at a time. If more log on, it results in being kicked out and occasionally being locked out of the site. I also find that the interface can be a bit overwhelming. Reports also cost quite a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hootsuite to schedule our social media ahead of time, so that we can focus on other issues throughout the day and week. We can recognize and engage with our donors, and keep track of who is engaging with us!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Some features of Hootsuite are a little unnecessary for a small team like the one I work in. I think the features would be awesome for a larger team.

Great way to organize social media

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to track multiple social media sites at one time. Hootsuite is great for scheduling posts on multiple sites, and it is really easy to create and organize multiple streams to keep up to date on other accounts I am following
What do you dislike about the product?
Lately I have been having trouble with my scheduled posts not being posted to Twitter - however I believe that is due to new privacy/security settings within Twitter, not Hootsuite itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple social media accounts. Great for publishing posts across platforms and scheduling posts in advance!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the social channel visualization, the calendar scheduling feature is awesome, The ability to follow and unfollow is super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
paying for reports is pricey, and like everyone else, still can't really manage Linkedin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run all social through here. Everything we post and monitor happens in this tool
