What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is an excellent service that allows my company to post content for our various social media platforms. This service allows us to upload our social media posts for the month in an organized and quick manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are no longer able to shorten links in posts. Given character limitation on some websites, this causes an inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite saves my business a bunch of time. We put our social media posts for the month in there ahead of time so each day a post is automatically sent out. We do not have to spend anytime thinking of something to post that day. This allows us more time to focus on other business tasks. It also helps makes us more organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a program to upload various social media posts in a quick, easy, affordable, and organized manner then this is for you!
Amazing for weekend and late night posting!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite allowed us to plan out our marketing efforts online in advanced with scheduled posts. This allowed our presence to maintain on early mornings, late nights, holidays and weekends, when most companies drop off because they don't have someone in the office to write them.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I was using it, it wasn't as developed as it is now, so all the added features we would have liked, were not yet available or we didn't meet the $ requirement to have access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining an online presence at all times with scheduled postings and keeping in contact with our customers and users in one platform vs logging into each on each individual one saved time and helped elevate our brand when we were trying to grow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an all in one platform to monitor and grow your social media presence, this is great! You can use it to write back to users, monitor traffic and see improvements and dips in your efforts and do A/B testing right in their platform. Very valuable for companies small and large, but probably more for small companies with limited resources!
Love Hootsuite, But Wish Instagram & LinkedIn Would Get On Board with Scheduling Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Hootsuite seamlessly integrates all of your social media streams into one easy-to-navigate dashboard! It couldn't be easier to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
DISCLAIMER: This is NOT Hootsuite's fault - but two big social media companies, Instagram and Facebook, STILL won't allow third-party tools to schedule content on their behalf. It's a huge inconvenience, especially for social media managers who travel or don't work every day of the week and don't have time to post content. To their credit, Hootsuite HAS tried to create a workaround for Instagram, but it's not great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has made it so much easier to post content across multiple channels! I'm so glad this exists.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it! I has a great free version if you want to test it out.
Great for small businesses!
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to schedule automated social media sendouts and get a bird's eye view of responses, mentions, etc. on the dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app isn't as great as desktop: doesn't allow viewing of multiple types of interactions on social media at once, occasionally gets stuck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to conduct sendouts during 'quiet times', and set up sendouts the day before they need to go out and not worry about whether or not it'll occur. Also allows us to keep a finger on the pulse of our followers

Great for those who primarily work through twitter and Facebook - offers a free account that is a very effective way to try the software and use it on a small level on an ongoing basis.
A Social Media Managers Best Friend!
What do you like best about the product?
This software truly couldn't of made it easier for me. In my current role, and past internships, I have been responsible for managing multiple social media accounts. Hootsuite allowed me to schedule and monitor posts from one dashboard, as well as allowing me to interact with followers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. Maybe if it was free!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interacting and engaging with social media followers is critical. This program allows users to do this easily, and start a conversation. In addition, the metrics play a huge factor -- and I don't think this is something many realize, until they see the data. Hootsuite gives you real-time analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
Posting and tracking to social media is so easy with HootSuite. Manage multiple accounts, pick and choose which ones to post to, schedule your posts and track post analytics. Wow! So many great features for free! More great features if you want to pay a little extra.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could see more analytics but for a free account, it does more than enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Twitter doesn't have the option to schedule posts yet, so HootSuite makes it so you can schedule posts whenever you want! Post to all your accounts at once with one click too!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need free, easy social media management, this is it! You can do so much with HootSuite for free and if you have the budget, you can pay for the awesome extra features and do more!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that all my apps are available in one place. It is very easy to navigate and see what comes across our feeds through HootSuite.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't found anything that I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to keep a pulse on our social medias through Live updates. We were able to keep in contact with our customers and their concerns as they were posting.
A fantastic Social Media Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
This software not only lets me schedule tweets, cull info from rss feeds to tweet, manage multiple accounts on differing platforms (twitter, facebook, linkedin, etc), it also has a great little plugin (hootlet) that lets you tweet from virtually any webpage.
What do you dislike about the product?
lthough hootsuite is excellent in almost everything it does, it is missing a calendar to do more extensive scheduling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use hootsuite to manage the Cancer Center's social media sites. Whether you know it or not someone is saying something about your business.

Depending on your needs, you may wish to evaluate other offerings as well.
Great tool for setting up social messages quickly
What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for setting up social messages quickly. It's easy to learn and I don't feel people need to be social experts to be users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more detailed tools could be better explained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to schedule message quickly at the beginning of every month and don't have to worry about them.

Hootsuite simplifies the social media process by allowing us to post multiple tweets or statuses on our social media profiles. We are able to share relevant content with our followers, as well as communicate our brand with others who didn't know about us before.
The scheduling assistant is our favorite part about Hootsuite. As a small company, all of us where a lot of hats, and none of us have the time to dedicate days let alone our entire job to social media outreach and engagement. By scheduling posts with Hootsutie we spend one day a quarter grooming, refining, and updating posts to schedule throughout the quarter and Hootsuite does the launching/posting for us. This saves us time and from doing a lot of tedious work. Furthermore, we can analyze Hootsuite's analytics to see how engaged our audience is and what we can improve upon.
