What do you like best about the product?
Allows multi-platform posting for professionals that have to manage multiple social media accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
The User Experience could use a slight upgrade, but over all the tool is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main business problem is the need to create multiple copies of the same social media post for different platforms

What do you like best about the product?
This is a great tool for staying current on all social platforms. You can quickly and easily access your messages on all accounts which allows you to increase your customer service efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot to this platform that should be explored and compared. This definitely takes some time to figure out, though can be user friendly once mastered!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Responding to messages as quickly as possible which increases customer service. There are quick analytics on posts from multiple social media platforms which helps increase appeal and success.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a good platform for social media management. It makes your engagement much more efficient and easy while giving quick analytics which can aid in making effective posts!

Doesn’t hook up well to Instagram and you still have to use your phone.

What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling tool in hootsuite makes it super convenient to pre-schedule posts that are part of our social media strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer the analytics within a native social media platform over those in hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to get our information about our colleges classes, programs, events and community involvement and engage in conversation s with those who tweet at us as well as see trending topics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It isn't the best option for Facebook scheduling but being able to add various social networks and streams has been very helpful to our institution.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspect of Hootsuite is that I can schedule social media content on multiple different platforms at once! Whether you want to schedule a post to be weeks in the future on a specific date, have it posted instantly, or even have it posted on multiple platforms, Hootsuite is THE tool that's free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there are a limited number of accounts you can connect to the free platform of Hootsuite. After either 3 or 4, you are required to upgrade or log in and out of the ones you want posting access to at all times. This can become frustrating and tedious when you are working within a budget and want the same post to come out of many different platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business world has become inundated with social media and Hootsuite solves the challenge of always needing new content on a Facebook page, Instagram or Twitter feed. You can create your content all at once and schedule it to be effortlessly spread out across hours, days, weeks or even months.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to save copies of any graphics you plan to add to social media posts on your phone and download the HootSuite mobile app! This way, you are able to schedule your posts on the go. Another recommendation is to make sure your Instagram app is logged in before you use HootSuite to post on Instagram. The HootSuite app will take you to the Instagram app in order to post content directly and it helps if you are already logged in.

What do you like best about the product?
The convenience of handling all my social media in one click.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be confusing at times. Too many icons on the managing page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting my social media posts organized in advance and not forgetting making them.
Reaching my target audience more efficiently.

Take the tutorials, it'll make your life easier.

I've Paid for Hootsuite for Seven Years - That's Why I Can Recommend It

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite's monthly price was perfect for a set-it-and-forget it app. There have been times when I've used other tools and kept Hootsuite going because why cancel and restart with such a low price? But the feature set ALWAYS brings me back. The ability to create streams with keywords and to use multiple accounts on Twitter, FB, G+, LinkedIn and others is unsurpassed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting is more a la carte pricing pricing, and I have good substitutes, but I wouldn't mind trying it more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maximizing productivity by addressing multiple platforms and multiple accounts at platforms at once. Also using a lot of scheduling features and two of the RSS automated feeds.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Trial it and see how it fits your workflow. If you're interacting on multiple platforms, Hootsuite can be a cost-effective tool for you.

The interface is difficult to navigate. It could be simplified.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the automatic scheduling feature. I also like the ability to segment Twitter by lists, so I can follow certain keywords and industry professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see a Pinterest integration feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A great benefit is the analytical reports.
