What do you like best about the product?
I leave for 2 months every year at my job. But I can still manage the social calendar (at least with posting). This makes my life so much easier. Love that Instagram is included.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything.. I used to hate that it didn't include Instagram. That would be my only gripe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posting while on vacation!

What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite made managing 4-5 social media sites that my company used very easy. Rather than having to login to every site, paste the post and upload the media or images again, this site lets you post to any and all of your sites in one step. Want to post different things? You can still do that simply by selecting each site.
Viewing our feeds became simple by having them line up all on one screen. When someone messaged us, we were alerted here. This made it 1000x easier to keep on top of incoming questions/posts with a very small team.

What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who was new to this type of a offering, it took a bit to understand how to use it and get all of our sites reconnected in such a way that Hootsuite could benefit us. Definitely a struggle at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media management and tracking.

Affordable and simple solution for social media management.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple for our small-scaled museum to keep track of multiple streams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was possible to have a few more streams at the basic plan--nonprofits utilize programs like this because we simply don't have the funds to do otherwise, and it would be nice to be able to use it a bit more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to quickly monitor multiple feeds. Scheduling of posts cuts down on our time spent as well.

The ability to schedule multiple social media actions across a variety of providers.

The scheduling limitations with the freemium model.

Great for scheduling social media posts especially if you are a one-man-marketing show.
Good but sometimes glitchy when posting
What do you like best about the product?
I like the streams, and having everything in one place. I like to be able to see mentions and retweets easily. I like being able to schedule and hold drafts to share across team members. I like getting the email update to see top tweets and trends. I like the training offered as well. VERY helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when posting, it gets glitchy- takes a while to load mentions or is difficult to go back and edit as I am typing. I have to clear the tweet instead. Also wish that I could click on the mentions as I am typing to ensure I have the right person.
I also dislike having to log into Instagram to post, but I think that is IG's issue, not Hootesuite.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve the issue of needing to schedule tweets, measure success, track which tweets do well. I like that my teammates and I can all see what is being scheduled so as not to overlap- and so I can edit tweets when my coworkers are drafting tweets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to get buy in from other coworkers and bosses who are posting on brand's social. Some of the features are only helpful if the team is using them.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use method of pre-scheduling posts to multiple social media platforms. Allows one to plan out social media campaigns and coordinate across all platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally Hootsuite would not properly link with all the platforms we intended to use and posts were sometimes delayed!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes the process for managing our platforms seamless and efficient. Previously, we would have to log in to each platform every time we wanted to post and now we just log in once to Hootsuite and schedule our posts.

Great social media tool to manage facebook and twitter posts.

Wish I was able to also post on LinkedIn and Instagram but love the functionality for Facebook and Twitter

We've been able to post in advance and not have to worry about monitoring social media every single day

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can schedule social media posts to multiple platforms, such as instagram, facebook, and twitter months in advance. It is also useful to see what fans are posting on your pages so you can get an idea of how people feel about your brand. I make different tabs to monitor different things, such as comments on my photos, likes, and a feed with people who have mentioned my company name in a hash tag. These tabs allow you to stay very organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface on the phone app can be a little bit buggy sometimes. For example, sometimes the notification doesn't pop up on my phone to remind me that I scheduled the Instagram post. The phone app is basically only for Instagram, so all the other scheduled posts are fine with posting themselves as scheduled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am keeping myself more organized by using Hootsuite to schedule social media posts in advance. Hootsuite has helped me to save a LOT of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool for social media post planning in advance and it is also helpful for keeping up with what people are posting to your social media pages. You can create a variety of tabs to monitor different areas, such as who liked your photos, who commented on your photos, who recently liked or disliked your page, and there are a large variety of analytics reports available too.
