Hootesuite helps ,e keep up with twitter
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to search for topics or keywords on social media. It also helps me group twitter users into lists so I can more easily keep up with a certain industry or topic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of anything I particularly dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can keep up with the massive amount of information on Twitter easier. I can group users into lists of say other reporters, reporters on a certain beat, PR people with fire organizations, or law enforcement or politics. This helps me keep up with what each group has going on in a more organized way.

What do you like best about the product?
Training is easy and helps implement use of product across teams. Monitoring and reporting are easy to set up and view multiple streams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the work flows and approval process are still confusing to work through and set up - even now that I've been using this for 3 years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite helps us manage and monitor 24 different social media profiles for our global business. We have visibility into our entire social presence from one dashboard and can easily schedule posts while monitoring what our clients say and what our competitors are doing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have enough seats to accommodate all users in your organization. We have 12 seats to support our global user base. They offer the Advance Social Media Strategy certificate with some of their software plans, which is a professional certification offered through Syracuse University. This is awesome. Take advantage of it!
Hootsuite Social Media Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to schedule social posts directly in one dashboard (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn). You can also go in and make any edits to posts prior to them going live. No need to manually sign into each separate social channels- you can post all in one place. Just schedule and you are good to go! One less thing to worry about. You can also monitor your social media presence through the dashboard (mentions).
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing negative about my experience thus far with Hootsuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are pushing out content with Hootsuite on various social media platforms to get word out to our current customers and potential customers about out offerings.

Easy platform to schedule and monitor social media posts.

Great tool for planning content, managing multiple accounts for multiple clients, and implentomg campaign strategy
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting isn't very good outside of Twitter.

Planning content and editing work.
Perfect All In One Social Media Distribution Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can integrate LinkedIn Groups and the Auto Scheduler feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I dislike but with they would add in integration with Google+ communities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating our social posts and saving a lot of time on the posting side. Also, this has made are posts more effective.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They also have a bulk message uploaded feature which is very helpful when trying to schedule out a lot of messages.
Easy, integrated, and inexpensive.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I have everything in one platform, it's totally integrated. I use it for two compnaies I work for, which alleviates signing in and out constantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish Instagram became more easy to use, but I understand that's a nature of Instagram being mroe of a mobile based platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are gaining more exposure and connecting our sites analytics with our social media insights - it's telling a real story and bringing us forward.

The Instagram integration - understanding how effective it is for you is important.
Great for managing social media
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily manage multiple twitter streams, learn about the people following them, and track messages coming in and out. It's easy to see what's going on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I removed a social network from my account, but Hootsuite keeps asking me to reconnect with it, and I can't figure out how to remove the message. That's annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite makes it really easy to handle social media, and as long as that's a thing, I'll use it.

It's really useful, especially if you use several social media platforms and want to track many other accounts.
Seamless Social Media Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can link several user accounts into one easily scheduled format. They also have great content suggestions. The ease of posting to multiple sources without having to log into a lot of different websites is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar can be a little difficult to work with at times, trying to change an aspect of a scheduled post sometimes means going into several versions of this post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This keeps all our employees connected and active with precise scheduled posts. Some people, older employees, don't necessarily see the value in keeping an active presence on social media. With HootSuite, I am able to make sure they have a steady stream of content, keeping them relevant in the eyes of colleagues and potential clients. HootSuite's ease of scheduling makes it easy for me to get the word out on different campaigns my office launches to promote webinars and events. While not promoting an event, using the "suggested content" section assists me in posting articles and information when there is not anything else going on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hootsuite has videos and tutorials that can help you get started. I knew nothing about this program when I began and found that very helpful. They have also had great webinars with social media marketing gurus to help you fine-tine your voice if needed. A notable webinar from Mari Smith was especially informative and I now follow her on Facebook to keep up-to-date with her tips.
Everything you need for basic social publishing
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is super easy to use and the price is fantastic for the functionality you get. We used Social Studio and Radian 6 before, which were MUCH more expensive and had far more functionality than we needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support isn't great, and our onboarding sessions weren't very useful because they weren't tailored to our needs at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to publish social content across multiple time zones, as well as effectively monitor mentions of our brand and other topics of interest.
Social Media Management with Hootsuite
What do you like best about the product?
The streams features of Hootsuite allows me to easily toggle between roughly 20 accounts affiliated with my organization. This is particularly useful for staying on top of Twitter mentions, scheduling weekend and off hour posts. The mentions stream is also very useful for doing retweets on twitter and Hootsuite has recently improved their internal retweets feature. I previously would do retweets manually outside the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I really dislike about the platform. I do find it more useful for Twitter than LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving response time to members and increasing the volume of content submitted by saving time on quickly getting relevant material out and online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you manage a high number of social media accounts, particularly on Twitter, it is a great platform.
