What do you like best about the product?
Brethren Mutual has used Hootsuite as its social media management software for over nine years! We love the ease of use of the product, the ability to plan out our social media experienace for customers in advance, and enhance our posts with Hootsuite's built-in AI capability. One of the best upsides of the software is that employees of all skill-sets can be trained to use the software to ensure our social media messages don't skip a beat!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downsides of Hootsuite in our nine years of using the product. That's why we keep using it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brethren Mutual had no social media strategy when we began using the product years ago. Hootsuite taught us what an effective social media strategy should look like! We were struggling to identify what content made the most impact to our publics. Hootsuite's analytics feature allowed us to drill down and find out what type of posts were getting the most engagement.
Hootsuite Has Spoiled Me for Anything Else!
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite is extremely easy to use, and intuitive to navigate. I use it with team members, and creating drafts and uploading images is a breeze. The capabilities for including video, shortening links, editing and customizing content and social listening across platforms are unparalleled.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't run across many downsides. I do wish that if I delete a post on Hootsuite it also deletes the post on the platform I have published to. That's the only negative I have run into so far using the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves us time while enabling us to have a social media presence.

Scheduling feature for all platforms. It's so easy to set up a campaign and also extremely simple to edit campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I dislike about hootsuite. The ease of use outweighs the pricing.

Staying organized & managing multiple platforms.

Being able to answer social media messages in one spot and scheduling the posts. Prior to hootsuite we were unable to do this.
Great marketing tool that everyone should be using
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can see the multiple channels for each of your socials. The planner aspect is super helpful as I schedule weeks' content across 3 campaigns, varying channels, etc. It is great to see what is happening and help plan my time accordingly. These features allow me to implement my social media strategies and integrate them across platforms. I use it once a week to plan things, more so if I am due to be on holiday and can be stress-free knowing that all my planning is taken care of.
What do you dislike about the product?
The login is a little janky. I also find the 'Stream' and 'Boards' sections confusing and opt not to use them much because of this. Some areas are not easy to use such as those I just mentioned. I do not see clearly how to use it to implement customer support when required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issue of cross platform scheduling for me. This means that I can have more time for other things such as designing my marketing collateral for other areas of the campaign knowing the socials side of things is taken care of.

the report generated for competitive analysis uses some long-dated data. It would have been better to use live data or a day back.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm new to Hootsuite, but it seems easy use so far. I like the analytics and the abiltiy to compare to competitors. I like the reminders and best times to post for my viewers engagements. I have recommended Hootsurie to colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the cost is a little high, but I also think that as my customer base grows, i'll see more benefits. I wish I could post directly to stories on IG and FB and I'd love scheduled posts to Nextdoor and GMB.

It's allowing me to see when the best times to post are based on my followers reactions.
Great experience, easy to manage albeit a little pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Recommended Times to post are a time saver. Inbox feature is a an easy to use tool to monitor and respond to account messages. Implementing Hootsuite was also quite easy

It is a little pricey for what we use it for. Only use it a couple times a month.

Time management by having all notifications from accounts available in a central spot, it saves us from individually going through each platform.
Love the Ease of posting, commenting, and analyzing social media.

The ability to upload videos for future posting.

The only downside I found was having to make youtube posting different than other social media, so it just made it a longer process.

Having all my social channels in one place makes scheduling, monitoring, and engaging with my audience incredibly easy. The platform provides fantastic insights that help me track performance and refine my strategy. Plus, the AI-powered prompts and recommendations are a huge time-saver, making content creation more efficient and effective. The customer support is also top-notch—always helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of my biggest frustrations is the inability to fill in finer details for Reels and Stories when scheduling. I still have to use Meta Business Suite for that, which is exactly what I was hoping to avoid. Additionally, transitioning to Hootsuite’s reporting from Meta Business Suite hasn’t been the easiest—the alignment just isn’t there, making it harder to track performance in a way that feels familiar.
