The most intuitive and effective social media management platform I've used
What do you like best about the product?
SCALABILITY - The platform is easily scalable to the size and scope of you social media program.
CUSTOMIZATION - There is plenty of customization and user driven content capabilities, but there is also a ton of turnkey and automated or AI supported options to provide support for small teams that are responsible for hefty social media programs.
DATA & INSIGHTS - The insights and account metrics are really helpful for those who are looking to report out to key stakeholders and support program expansion. They also provide easy was to build out a data-informed social strategy.
AMPLIFICATION - We added amplify to roll out our social media ambassador program. It was easy to get members onboarded and using the platform quickly.
TRAINING & CERTIFICATION - The self-driven training is excellent and hiring teams find the certifications to be credible.

What do you dislike about the product?
COST - The cost for extra seats both for platform management and for amplify is difficult to justify to leadership.
ACCOUNT MGMT. SUPPORT - Perhaps since the platform is so intuitive, Hootsuite account managers can be less responsive once the contract is signed. Your experience with Hootsuite, if you do need support, can vary widely depending on who you are assigned.
PRIVACY & SECURITY - Some of our Amplify users expressed concern about the legal language they had to agree to in order to sign on to the program and what access the platform would have to their owned social accounts.

Hootsuite has helped our organization produce more and better content on social.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of scheduling posts, viewing boards, and creating performance reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that we cannot include other organizations' pages in our boards. I would like to have a clear view of what other organizations in our sphere are posting on a daily basis. I would also like to see what other partnering organizations in the community are posting.
I don't like that you cannot tag others when sharing a post from a stream on your board.
I don't like that you cannot post to reels or stories on facebook. (If you can, I haven't figured it out).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I cannot oversee the many pages our organization maintains without a platform like Hootsuite. I also cannot feasibly schedule posts on the individual platforms, so the scheduling function is necessary.
Great Product, Great Service
What do you like best about the product?
As a Social Media Manager my team and I have found that Hootsuite is a great product for consolidating all our takes into one place and taking action on them. With a total of 21 Social Accounts, it is a great place to see everything that is going on and the analytical reporting allows us to create goals that are achievable.

What do you dislike about the product?
Anytime we find a limitation in Hootsuite, we find out an enhancement is already in the pipeline.

It is a great place to see everything that is going on and the analytical reporting allows us to create goals that are achievable.
Efficient Posting with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I benefit from the ability to preschedule posts with Hootsuite. I also find the ability to duplicate and post very useful. It's time-saving and allows me to get posts scheduled months in advance in a fairly quick manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the ability to upload more photos for LinkedIn could be improved. Even though I know LinkedIn does not accept more than 10 photos, the ability to just upload them with the understanding that Hootsuite is only going to publish the first 10 would be fine with me. This feature used to be available previously on Hootsuite, and with updates, it has since changed. So, the problem is, if I'm posting to LinkedIn and Facebook at the same time and I want to upload 20 photos, I still need to go into the LinkedIn tab and delete 10 of those photos. Previously, it would have just published the first 10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hootsuite allows me to easily post to multiple platforms simultaneously and duplicate posts. I often preschedule posts months in advance.
Cost effective SaaS for Social and Busines Intelligence
What do you like best about the product?
A very easy to use and cost effective tool for most businesses looking to work in social and social listening. Ease of setup and team designations is very simple and user friendly. Support is very quick and effective (IF) you ever need them. The tool has withstood the test of time (devised initially as a direct competitor to Tweetdeck "Hoot" ), but was savvy enough to expand to many more use cases than a "one trick pony." This is a tool we use daily for scheduling content and engaging our clients' audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the sizing elements of media feels enforced on a platform level rather than the native platform restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With numerous clients (and their numerous social accounts) this helps us easily schedule and tag content relevant to specific objectives. This tool not only helps us organize and schedule, it reduces the amount of time dedicated to getting content ready to deploy.
Young professional using Hootsuite to organize & schedule content
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Hootsuite is being able to create a content library and upload content for my team that they can access when they need to post it. I use Hootsuite all month long but my team only uses it when they need to schedule posts. It's convenient for me and my team as we are all on different timelines.
Another feature I enjoy is the analytics tab. It is easy to see the results and then integrate them into the reports I create. Overall, the implementation and integration into my reports is very seamless.
I have never had to use customer support because Hootsuite is so user friendly!

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I dislike about Hootsuite is the "calendar" feature. For our company, we have so many posts going out that the calendar can look crowded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our company, analytics is a problem because we have so many accounts and it's hard to collect all the data. Hootsuite has solved that problem by allowing me to see all the posts from specific days, accounts, etc. It benefits me because it makes my reporting easier.
An efficient all-in-one solution
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Hootsuite constantly innovates the platform to offer the best solutions and keeps up with the latest trends.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little expensive but worth it when used to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to use the publishing calendar, get texts approved, all without having to send emails to our team and use tons of database files as everything is done in one place.
VERY EASY TO USE!
What do you like best about the product?
I throughly enjoy this platform. The ease of posting subjects to many of stores and setting it to post at a later date. I enjoy using the emoji's too. Seems you can' t have a converstation without them anymore.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things that I do not like is when you insert an emoji, you have to click out of the emoji's to continue typing. It would be nice if this entry worked like on a phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving my time management for postings. It is a huge benefit that I can use it at my leasure and post at a later date.
Very Efficient Managment of Social Media
What do you like best about the product?
Hootsuite allows you to very quickly post, and manage all your accounts. I manage 19 at once at it makes it seemless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes videos that are 16:9 or 9:16 refuse to post becuase it says incorrect aspect ratio for facebook, even though they post there no problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the issue of checking 19 pages for comments and privite messages, as well as mking it so I don't have to switch between accounts or post things multiple times, as it does it all at once.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Hootsuite are the publishing and analytics tools. I think in the last year or so the analytics have really improved, which has made it helpful when reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something minor for me is the Insights tool not picking up certain comments or mentions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem Hootsuite is solving for is the day-to-day of social media. The Bank uses multiple tools daily. Hootsuite does a great job in simplifying.
