Retool is an excellent, reasonably priced solution to a variety of helpful business tools.
What do you like best about the product?
The Customer Support has been very responsive and helpful. The functionality provides an easier interface to create useful tools while still providing lots of customization for more complicated features and workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into many issues with Retool. The documentation could be a little bit better explaining some aspects of JS code. It would be nice to have the option to do more in Python since I know that better, however, that may be a more personal request rather than a widespread help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a business tool that is able to be distributed easily (with just a link).

- Probably its price, it is a bit expensive compared to other alternatives in the market
- Sometimes it is extremely complex to understand the menus and the purpose of each feature

It helps us to develop the frontend for our internal applications without having an intense knowledge on forntend development at all

What do you like best about the product?
Retool excels in quick development of handy tools and applications that are needed for Internal usecases. We have developed for a lot of use cases in Operations where it is very difficult to plan and build tools. So what we need is a platform where we need to quickly develop and roll it out when the need comes up and Retool has been excellent in meeting us that Goal
What do you dislike about the product?
I find a lack of options in terms of integrating with Google Cloud products than on AWS. Also would be gr8 to have native capabilities to execute Kubectl commands against GKE resources

The platform lets you build the tools you need quickly without complex coding. It integrates easily with other systems, so you can pull in data from anywhere. It’s a great choice when you need to streamline tasks efficiently and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I've been working with Retool every day for a couple of years, I wouldn't say it has any major flaws. Occasionally, the app freezes, but that's about it.

As someone working in application development, this saves me a lot of time, letting me focus on building efficient tools quickly and ensuring all critical data is accessible and integrated for smoother workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to work with and make adjustments when needed, the software team for my company find it easy to adjust as per feedback from all associates. Great integration with already existing tools and software and has been easy to roll out and implement within the business. Me and my team use various retool tools on a daily basis and they have great customer support if we run into issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would benefit from themes or ability to expand on colour pallete.

Low code implementation. Easy to automate business logic, make optimizations. Versatile and integrates with other tools easily and hassle free. Good from developer point of view. Good support.

Better config optmizations. Sometimes, low code concepts actually prohibits implementing some tricky features. Fail at complex applications.
