Transformative Tool for Rapid App Development
What do you like best about the product?
Retool has completely changed the way I build apps. The drag-and-drop interface is super intuitive, making it easy to piece together complex applications without writing tons of code. I love how seamlessly it connects with all sorts of data sources and APIs—whether it's a SQL database or a REST API, Retool handles it all effortlessly. Plus, the pre-built templates save me so much time when starting new projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I love using Retool, there are a few hiccups. The learning curve was a bit steep at first, especially when diving into more advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Retool has been a lifesaver for streamlining our internal processes. We've built several apps that help automate tasks and manage data more efficiently, saving us hours every week. It's also cut down on our development costs since we don't need to hire extra developers for every little tool we need. Overall, it's made my job easier and our team more productive.

I sometimes get lost when processws get too big

It is the glue for out ai generated customer service agent. It does ragover a vector db and outputs a draft
Fantastic tool for building a number of solutions without staffing a developer
What do you like best about the product?
After trying a number of low-code applications, I found that Retool was the perfect fit for functionality, flexibility, and ease of use. I am not a developer and have very little experience with wring any coding language. But, with nothing more than ChatGPT and the super helpful Retool community, I've was able to spin up a number of simple to complex tools and applications that provide deep analysis with directy BigQuery connections and automated data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The negatives I've had so far are few and far between. If I had to pick one, it would be a longer roadmap on some of the very specific features I've been waiting for like native pivot table functionaltiy. However, I 've been able to find workarounds with the help of the community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building complex marketing and sales analysis tools that connects to multiple databases.
Very impressed - intuitive and adaptable
What do you like best about the product?
Very fast and responsive - intuitive too. I have experience as a front-end developer but I haven't found the need to rely on those skills too much. I find it very easy to use. The preview function is good and also the releases and history mean I can roll back if I have an issue. I have been using a combination of ChatGPT & Claude to help me when I get stuck.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found it a little bit difficuilt to view my app in a mobile viewport. Also some limitations in terms of theming. I would say maybe as a true "no code" tool it would be quite a lot more limited, if people had no idea about code then they might get stuck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quicky build a usable app that we can hand out internally. Usually we'd rely on a dev team to build this but we're able to do this in-house.

Retool’s pricing can feel steep for startups with limited budgets, especially as usage scales. However, the ROI has been worth it for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time-Consuming Manual Processes:
Easy to use, quick customer support, and always-improving platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's perfect for building front-end applications as well as backend applications. Even the free tier provides ample capabilities and storage to make impactful tools. Their support team is very helpful and responsive. We have jobs running multiple times per hour and as we scale the pricing does not grow out of hand. It's very quick to setup an integration with an out-of-the-box connection or with a custom resource.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some very intuitive features have yet to be built and the threads in their forums are missing updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can quickly develop internal tools and backend integrations without putting at risk and of our production data sources or infrastructure.
Great tool that serves many purposes

I like how easy it is to learn and use Retool. The vast amount of different components and integrations with other technologies makes Retool a great tool to use for your business.

There have been cases where our Retool instance has crashed, but besides that, nothing to fault.

Retool's source control feature and incredibly responsive support team make it a standout platform for rapidly building and managing internal business applications.

Retool dramatically accelerates our internal tool development by providing a flexible platform that enables rapid creation of custom business applications with minimal coding, saving time and empowering our team to solve complex workflow challenges quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Retool is the way I can interact with SQL so easily and functionally.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing is that documentation isn't on one quick access place, even though it is distributed at key places.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am enabling data governance and pipelines for the first time in my small company so that even our most low-tech people can access critical data and still keep it all in one place.
Retool is a very complete and robust low-code tool.

I like that you can start from simple to complex, achieving quick results

There aren't many tutorial videos on YouTube in my language
