Retool is a great software for internal tooling
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of components - it has a a set of components that fit every need.

We do not need to create our internal tools and think about implementation details - we develop our APIs, Retool - our frontend.

What do you like best about the product?
Retool has optimized our workflows so much that it's easily shaved off 1 hour per employee per shift in their workload. It wasily integrated with the information we captured and helped streamline many processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface, while customizable could be improved upon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping streamline information and automations into one dashboard to collect information for all stakeholders.
Flawless and stable over long periods of time for internal apps
What do you like best about the product?
There are quite a few things that stand out in retool, but for building internal applications, the amount of documentation and examples available are of really high quality.
We are a financing company, and raise debt from external retail investors from time to time, we have been using retool since Mid 2021 and once made, it has worked flawlessly. We use it to do interest calculations, send statement of accounts and handling customer queries. Customer Support is fast and agile, and using it is a breeze for operations managers.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the resources and connections to complicated data sources could be made a little better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a Non banking financial services company and Retool helos us to
- Manage entire customer lifecucle of our debt raised ( Keep in mind that the debt is for a period of 3-5 years, so we need extremely stable systems )
- Reduced the time to launch to 1 week from 8-10 weeks if we had built it from scratch
- No libraries to maintain, no conflicting errors and operations can do small edits of their own

What do you like best about the product?
It's very user-friendly. It is easy to learn as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't experienced neagitve yet. It can take some time though to refresh the page etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy for me to find and separate my project.
Its like a custom CMS but better
What do you like best about the product?
We use it to manage all the internal data and even analysis of our app. The fact that we can connect it directly to our AWS DB is just amazing, its somethign that we use daily.

There is not really a thing that I dislike.

We are allowing not-technical people to work and analise data that exists in our database in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
With as little code as possible, I'm able to implemenent commonly used functionalities in a matter of minutes, with a drag and drop interface. I have been using using Retool for more than 3 years, and I am able to quickly provide software services to businesses and move on to the next project. This saves me (as a developer) and the business, time and money. The ability to integrate with popular platforms and the adaptability with unpopular platforms, is very powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Retool can be slow or buggy sometimes, and reaching their support team for bugs has become a longer process than before, which wastes time while using an alternative approach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Retool allows building user interfaces as fast as possible with a drap and drop interface and a nice and easy way to customize UI components. I no longer need to make custom ReactJS applications or spend time building a user interface from scratch using HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Another powerful feature is the ability to write SQL directly within Retool's app editor, which allows me to skip the part of building a custom backend server and connecting it to a database server.

I like best about Retool the ability to rapidly develop internal tools with minimal coding. A simple and intuitive drag-and-drop interface makes it very accessible. Its seamless integration with various databases and APIs enables us to pull in data effortlessly, creating customized solutions that fit our needs. Overall, Retool has significantly streamlined our development process and boosted our productivity.

Although Retool allows for some customization, users may find the design options for UI elements somewhat restrictive compared to fully custom development.

Retool is great in helping us move forward quickly and deliver solutions to our customers. By simplifying the development of internal tools, we can rapidly prototype and implement features that directly address customer needs.

AMAZING
What do you like best about the product?
We spent 3 hours building an epic internal app with retool which an agency quoted us £20k and 1 month to make! To give you an idea of how intuitive it is, before opening Retool yesterday, I had never used API calls before and we now have a working app which we've rolled out across the team in <2 days. Amazing!!

Can feel daunting at the start as someone non-technical but the tempaltes etc are amazing and help
