Enterprise Grade Email Security
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with our Microsoft email services and the ability to pull malicious emails, even if they are weaponized after initial receipt.
What do you dislike about the product?
The backend administrative panel is not a modern design, and a bit clunky. The spamtrap that end users use is also a bit archaic - you can only block 5 email addresses at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us advanced viability into our email threat landscape and enables us to action quickly and automatically.

Works best the way it should
What do you like best about the product?
Offers comprehensive email protection and gives us minimal alerts where there is an issue thereby reducing noise level to really actionable ones,
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike as the tool is fairly straightforward and perhaps the improve area is in the area of documentation on tips and tricks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It acts as the first layer of defense in protecting us from potential malicious emails and enhances the over email security posture with a good detection mechanism against phishing and BEC.
Proofpoint gives you a lot of bang for your buck
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint email security comes with a bundle of cyber-security tools that allow even the smallest of teams to defend against the most advanced attacks. The tools do a wonderful job determining what is legitimate and what is not legitimate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all tools in this space it is not perfect and there are times when illegitimate emails get through but I have noticed that only about 1-2% of the time that I have used the product after it has been tuned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us solve the number one way that attackers get into an organization and that is stopping phishing emails from coming in and also providing the tools that allow us to automate the analysis of emails that come inwhich allow our Tier 2 and 3 analysts to focus on higher priority incidents. Their security awareness tool alone has significantly decreased the number of clicks on malicious links due to clear information that is displayed in the trainings.
Proofpoint has been a great product overall first in class among their space and product stacks
What do you like best about the product?
Reliability and peace of mind are the biggest things that come to mind when i describe my relationship with Proofpoint. The products just work and in my experience have been the most reliable and capable of the products i have used in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest my biggest gripe are the SLA times on support, its not bad but it could be improved and often times they surpise you on response times. However that would be my biggest gripe with the service overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we had Proofpoint managing email spam and attacks were a very intensive manual process with our prior product, it wasnt even on the level of quality that we have observe with Proofpoint. Today administration of the product is pretty light weight, even during our onboarding period we didnt get an unreasonable amount of tickets.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Proofpoint is robust, there are a few areas for improvement:
API integration with Crowdstrike and Defendr is great, but many time this provide a false information in our EDR tool, which unnecesssary creates multiple false postive tickets.
Due to its comprehensive functionality, new users might require time to fully grasp all aspects of the solution.
Customer Support is not that great, it may take months to solve an issue.

What do you like best about the product?
Cloud based and after the onboarding understanding how the product works to protect your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to access the admin page, however, it is not a major inconvienence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used other products prior to Proofpoint and it is clearing stopping many malicious links, bad actors, or attachments. The banners help our staff identify the type of email which helps our staff be more diligent.
Good product with quick dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
The product is easy to use, and the dashboard quickly loads valuable information. Lots of options to search for messages, and it gives a lot of helpful information when viewing each message.

Smart search stopped showing the recipient address if it couldn't match it with an account.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides additional protection and visibility over multiple email facets with quick visual representations of mail flow within our environment. The information you can see when searching for messages is also really helpful.
