An excellent choice for email security!
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that ProofPoint admin panel contains all the admin tools and settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its too good. When performing a PenTest even though we whitelisted the domain, the phishes were still flagged as phishes. It was tough to get phsihing campaign emails into my users inboxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email compromise is a huge threat vector. ProofPoint helps us mitigate risks gainst this vector.
Loving Proofpoint Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I like TRAP that comes with the email security platform - we can manually or auto pull emails that are malicious on the fly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a little old school but they are working on a new one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SPAM Filter/Firewall - they are our first line of defense against email attackers.
Very easy to use and excellent pre and post techincal support

Proofpoint was extemely easy to setup and we had several sessions with technical experts to train us and verify it was working as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a dislike, but currently costs are our biggest concern

Spam and malicious emails are blocked at around 99%
Best Solution for Email Security
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint is a great Solution to Email Security. It was an easy implementation and it gives a complete way to protect email by using its tools including spam, phishing, URL, and attached sandbox. Proofpoint has helped us stay in compliance and protect our company's data. Support is also fantastic and dependable. Overall, Proofpoint is my top choice among vendors for Email Security.

There are a lot of tools and features with this product so it can be a little complex when training new admins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its keeping us compliant with BIMI standard and protecting our company and users data.

What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint is effective at blocking unwanted emails and there are many features that increase email security.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many pages that admins need to log into.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used FireEye previously and received an abnormal amount of Spam. Proofpoint has solved that problem.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the best about Proofpoint when it automatically marks an email as potentially malicious and quarantines it until it deems it safe to then send along to the intended recipient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing I may dislike about Proofpoint is when it is running parallel to another email security software such as Microsoft 365 there will be some things that PP might not consider malicious and then flagged when 365 then finds something to contradict PP and quarantines the email for further investigation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PP is solving problems such as emails that may have malicious attachments embedded into the email and through it's algorithms it is detecting and quarantining these emails even if there is only a small chance that it really is malicious and that helps us because we are a small team and even though we review many emails that come through we sometimes miss what PP catches
Powerful and Effective Email Security
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint Email Protection and TAP (URL and attachment sandboxing/filtering) perform better with fewer false positives and false negatives than any other email gateway I have used. Support is fast and excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation and administrative management of the gateway can be complex, especially for those unfamiliar with the complexities of email filtering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better protection against malicious email, email attachments, and URLs. It also reduces the time spent investigating false positive and false negatives.
One of the best Email and CASB Security Tools on the market today!
What do you like best about the product?
The setup of Proofpoint has been so easy and support that we have received from them is spectacular! Our email has been reduced by around 40% simply by tightening up our SPAM and Bulk email capabilities. My team is in Proofpoint daily handling requests, quarantines and other actions. It has automated their workload and reduced the number of hours they spend processing email security greatly. I cannot wait to get the CASB product in place with our DLP. So far the implementation has gone very well. It has not had any issues with integration to our other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point I don't have anything that I dislike about the Proofpoint products. I'm sure over time we will find some tweaks that we wish to suggest to them, but so far so good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is greatly reducing the amount of bulk and spam email that we receive and has helped us tighten up some rules that under Microsoft were either not processing correctly or were not available to us.

Great tool for having security response tool. Great tool for email protection too.

None. I do not think any dislikes. Great tool regardless.

Problem with Email security. Proofpoint came and became a hero for resolving and remediating, automation.

What do you like best about the product?
It just works, we have used it for years and its rare for any phishing or bad email to get into our world. Very easy to implement, as Proofpoint will help you every step of the way, and if you need more direction after word they have great customer support.

It can be complicated due to the many options and areas in which things are configured and multiple servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the phishing and bad emails away from our executives that love clicking on things :)
