Best Threat Intelligence
What do you like best about the product?
I like the amount of threat intelligence data that Proofpoint has which allows them to provide the best detection capabilities that I've seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much that I do not like but possibly the UI is a bit outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps solve the problem of phishing in email as it blocks most malicious emails.

What do you like best about the product?
The implementation team is excellent. The product is intuitive and has everything you need in an email security and protection system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't find anything that I dislike. There are multiple portals to jump through but they are already working on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email security
Extremely flexible
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint provides a high level of customization for email security. Transparently protects our users with minimal impact on email performance, as well as provides us with a lot of information to check email flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Menus can be challenging to navigate to find the proper settings. There is a minor but noticeable delay in receiving emails with attachments due to attachment scanning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proofpoint gives us another set of virtual eyes on all incoming emails, ensuring our users are protected from phishing and malicious emails. It also ensures our users are not sending out anything malicious as well.

What do you like best about the product?
It works well with other Proofpoint products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as fast as I would like the searches to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is protecting out users from them self. And keeping the emails safe.
Great experience with the product and with the support
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Breath of services. Great customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of settings and options, so there is a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped stop spam and bulk emails. It has cut down on the number of phishing emails. It has helped prevent most email address spoofing.

Was one of the best implementations I have ever done in my 20+ years in I.T.

Nothing so far. Why do I need to put something in here that I don't like.

Fraud Email, Spam Email, stop the bad clicks.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboards are very easy to manage. Also getting alerts are great and respond from spam filter gurus are always quick response.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing I can complain about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We like to use the Email protection search alot we find that sending a email to the proofpoint team we get good explanation about why an email came through

Ability to manage our email and domain in a safe and functional manner.

The UI is very windows 2000. (but isnt that the best?)

Email spam - blocking and whitelisting
Proofpoint is a great email security solution for the enterprise.
What do you like best about the product?
Hosted solution provides less maintenance burden on internal teams. The service is quick and reliable and the extensible offerings provide a platform that has successfully blocked a majority of malicious mail to our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting module is a bit limited and the user digest user experience is a bit primitive. The user digest doesn't display the HTML version of the email and doesn't explain why a message was filtered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proofpoint Email Security is providing a comprehensive and robust solution in identifying and blocking malicious messages. It's hosted offering is easing the burden on internal operations team to maintain the solution.
Proofpoint is stellar
What do you like best about the product?
Provides a robust email gateway solution that makes email security highly accessible and is highly effective at identifying and blocking spam, graymail and DoS attacks which is very suitable for Microsoft 365 environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Proofpoint is difficult to deploy in a Google Workspace environment, and it doesn't scan internal emails or block highly targeted attacks like spear phishing. The platform's weakness is a lack of contextual awareness around normal communication patterns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform's interface is straightforward and easy to navigate, which helps us tremendously when troubleshooting issues. The spam filtering dashboard is intuitive and allows admins to manage all policies from one location. Proofpoint will enable us to sync essentials with Azure or Active Directory so that if a user joins or leaves the company, those changes are automatically reflected in Proofpoint.
