Email Security that works

What do you like best about the product?
The spam protection and detection as well as email fraud detection.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not that user friendly and could use a face lift.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phishing, spam detection, spam protection, user email management. Users can manage their own quarantine easily and inbound mail filtering works consistent and accurately.

What do you like best about the product?
Catching things our Office 365 didn't catch
What do you dislike about the product?
False positives that prevented good emails to get to the right people
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing our Email. Greater protection on bad emails and ease to get them out of the system if they make it thru.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Trial and see for you it be done after your existing system and it will catch what you currently have doesn't.

What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy of the spam filtering is excellent. The feature set is also excellent, providing a very flexible solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a very long time to do just about anything in the PoD interface. The response time is extremely slow. The search capability is limited and not consistent between different sections of the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to reject & quarantine malicious, risky & suspicious email messages. The notification options when a message is quarantined is very helpful. We also rely on the DLP and encryption features to prevent specific sensitive information from being sent insecurely by email.

What do you like best about the product?
The admin interface is very intuitive and the threat dashboard is very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having the ability to make changes to the system files, clear space on our own and to see a "live" email workqueue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our company secure from an email standpoint, also limitting the amount of unwanted email.

Ability to send multiple phish email templates to many users
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is consistently not accurate and not updating frequently enough
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email analysis for suspicious emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Expect a learning curve and time for the tool to gather data to become accurate

What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint is a set it and forget it product that requires little interaction. It just works once setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The updates sometimes need a little help. But if things to automatically update, support is always very responsive and always willing to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Proofpoint as our Anti SPAM software. It works very well.

What do you like best about the product?
Customer Service is helpful and efficient. Everytime I have an issue I'm able to easily log a ticket and have a support specialist review within hours depending on the business impact.

ProofPoint went above and beyond providing us with professional services implementing the lastest feature set as our organiztion moved from hosted email to the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Proofpoint security platform is so vast its hard to be an expert in everything. For smaller shops with a limited security staff this can be a daunting task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping reduce the phishing volume our organization faces. Proactively protecting our end users. Giving our users the ability to easily manage their inbox without all the extra spam and clutter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
ProofPoint is the top of its class. It may be more expensive than others but the price is well worth the functionality.

A Stellar Mail Filter

What do you like best about the product?
The product is very reliable and thorough. Over the years, I've grown to trust it completely.
What do you dislike about the product?
The modularity, which makes for nice granularity, also makes mastery of the product a tad more difficult. It does take some time to understand the interplay ha hierarchy of the modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest risk to the security of our network is an attempt by a bad actor to infiltrate our security through phishing and malware. Between the scanning/identification capability of Proofpoint, URL defense neutralizes all but zero-day threats. Even a high percentage of those are caught before my users have a chance to make a mistake.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare this product to others on the market. Negotiate the price aggressively.

Proofpoint is a Solid Cloud Email Protection Suite

What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint is very flexible, and allows me to create an array of rules to meet the needs of my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
No API access around usage statistics that I would like to be able to pull.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Of course, standard AV/Spam protection, but I'm also able to create specific rules that meet my needs, like being alerted every time an impersonation attack hits where the bad actor is trying to appear as an executive. I'm also able to pull email out of users' mailboxes if it is learned to be malicious after-the-fact.

Reliable solution, identifies threats and you have fewer false positives.

Additional components (Tap, cleaner, etc.) make the solution among the best on the market.
