Proofpoint Email Security and Protection helps us to solve several critical email security challenges, about preventing phishing & business email compromise, blocking malware & ransomware, stopping email fraud and reducing IT workload.

What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint Email Security has the best hassle-free user interface. It allows users to do their phishing analysis/investigation in a very effective way. Proofpoint Email Security offers an easy-to-use interface for effective phishing analysis and investigation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Proofpoint admin portal sucks. If you are searching any email, URL, attachments, or files you will not have the correct result, or sometimes nothing comes after giving the correct values too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proofpoint email security solution giving us the better result on phishing email analysis, email security gateways. In our environment its implemented in a very efficient way so most of the time phishing, spoofed, and malicious attachment related emails automatically contained by Proofpoint itself. so we did need to provide any extra efforts to investigate it. We have implemented some use-cases and integrated with SIEM & ticketing tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The proofpoint email security and protection is easy to use and easy to deploy. The customer and technical support are top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have anything dislike about this solution. The minor imperfection is the admin console is a little slow sometimes

This help us defense against phishing and malware email before it even hits the mail server

What do you like best about the product?
The upsides of proofpoint security is they are very stable and do not generate too many false positives. The detection is mostly accruate and provide good features to stop the email if found malacious.
What do you dislike about the product?
Proofpoint email secuirty have so many different dashboards to do different functions its some time waist time to find the right console.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a good too to scan the emails and block the spam emails. this reduce the over head on the end user and reduce the chance of clicking on malacious emails.

too many portals and interfaces to get things done but I saw that ProofPoint has a roadmap to fix it.

Proofpoint Email Security Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Proofpoint Email Security is an best of breed solution for large enterprises. Very pleased with vendor collaboration, implementation and support. First class.
What do you dislike about the product?
More integration with Message trace disposition logs in the TAP portal. Prevents going from tool to tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phishing, credential harvesting, users doing bad things. The solution protects against these and more.
It's a great and intuitive product. Most importantly, it works quite well.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is fantastic and intuitive. Search is awesome. It keeps inboxes clean. Our team uses the product daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
A small thing I don't like is the default collapsed menu. I always forget what each icon means so I end up expanding it anyway. More my problem than Proofpoint's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem solved is addressing the magnitude of inbound emails. By the time everything is filtered through Proofpoint, we only need to focus on the most relevant emails.
Best email security tool for your organization
What do you like best about the product?
This product is simple and easy to use. When it comes to email security, this product is at the top of the market. When you dive deep into the capabilities that this product provides, your organization will reap the benefits and become more secure as a result.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I do not like about the product is that there is no sort of SSO configuration. As with all Proofpoint products/systems, login is independent for each system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can track down emails being sent from external users and create a log full of details relevant to our inquiry. For example, how many emails were sent by this one user? To whom have they sent this email to? Furthermore, by being able to track down the specific email, we can then use another Proofpoint Product (TRAP) to automatically pull those emails from user inboxes, thus ensuring that unwanted emails are removed from your environment for good.

Ease of use, and very strong tech suppport.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little pricey for a smaller enviorment.

Email protection. The product is very easy to deploy and we've enjoy using the product.

What do you like best about the product?
I attended Proofpoint's Protect 2024 and was offered to take the Proofpoint Email Lab to learn and prepare for their certification exam, which I am able to take as part of my attendance!
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a hard time navigating the tool however, there was someone there who was able to assist with the questions I had.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for users to see which emails they would like to release and the ones that they would want to block.
