Excellent workshop, the content and pace of the course was just right. All my questions where answered clearly and concisely. There was also a very helpful "hands on" workbook componant to the workshop that I can use as a reference guide moving forward.

Essential tool for work teams

  • May 17, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana really becomes a great go-to source to track all things related to our work. When an individual dives in, they generally find the tool quite intuitive. Especially with teams working from various sites, it really just helps to provide way more transparency for all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly it's the pushback from individuals who refuse to lean into the technology (to leanr and use Asana) to make their work lives better. For some it's just a non-starter. But I am feeling quite up to the challenge to convert them! Recently I attended training in London and just within a session was able to reframe how I was perceiving the problem to come up with new solution with Asana, to push out the info to those individuals. (Thanks Marie for the great insights!)

Also, I do wish some of the features (like all of the options on workflows or goals) were available to our lower tier paid account. I understand how some features make sense for Enterprise accounts (like bundles) but other features like all the options in workflows being availble to our lower tier paid account would also help to make Asana more of an exciting solution within our organization, especially with those who still haven't fully bought in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's just really given us more clarity amongst team members, helping us all to be better employees.

The best workflow management system out there

  • May 17, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a standout project management tool that excels in facilitating cross-functional collaboration. Allowing myslef and my team to streamline their workflows and enhance productivity. We are able to create and customise workflows that suit our specific needs. This flexibility ensures that all departments can contribute effectively to a project, following processes that work best for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I am yet to find one! However I know down the line it would be useful if staff we able tp track their time against projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s challenging to keep track of tasks and deadlines across various teams, leading to missed deadlines and duplicated efforts.Asana provides a centralized platform where tasks can be assigned, tracked, and managed. Each task can have clear deadlines, assignees, and status updates. This visibility ensures that everyone knows who is responsible for what, reducing the chances of missed deadlines and duplicated efforts.

The standard in PM

  • May 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has the most customizable fields in comparison to other PM tools on the market. This is exceptionally helpful when collatborating across multiple teams/channels and maintaining continuinty. The UX is simple enough of 'social' touches to keep it from feeling like on giant checklist.

One of my favorite features so far is the approval subtask- auto creates when sending back.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the latest features aren't always quickly communicated or easily found. This could be a me problem but I tend to find about them a bit later than most even though I am a regular user. I wish there was an in platform notification? Something more attention grabbing than an email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning and execution of quarterly campaign content and event support.

More Useful Than Monday.com

  • May 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are lots of limitations with Monday.com that really bothered me, such as the lack of "Universal Items" (items really only existed on one board, could not be directly inserted into other boards) and the lack of a dedicated page for each Project, also not being able to connect to Google Docs/Sheets without an add-on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Monday.com exists on a project-level while Asana exists on a task-level, there is no easy wat for me to import my boards into Asana as Portfolios. This would be very helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
giving me universal items allows different teams to see only what they need from specific projects in different portfolios

Asana and bringing it to my Team!

  • May 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The whole concept of it is what brought my Exec in. She brough me in and we've been sold ever since! The delegation of tasks will be a breeze now. The pages are clear, simple and easy to read. Its organized and simple to explain once you have a good understanding of it. During the live training questions are answered quickly!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like is having to go through a 3rd party to link Clockify.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It will keep the team tasks, projects, etc in one area for everyone to see, rather than on multiple documents or email threads.

Asana Is Excellent

  • May 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is effective and allows me to be more productive and efficient when working individually or collectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the "dragons" that fly across the screen when a task is completed. Perhaps something a little forceful - stars, rainbows, rabbits...just not dragons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana keeps me on task!
