Asana Keeps Our Tasks on Track with Clear Deadlines and Traceability
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is how it helps me stay in control and maintain better traceability across my internal processes. It makes it easier to track the status of my tasks and assign them to team members with clear deadlines.
Overall, it keeps everything on my radar and helps me avoid forgetting important tasks that can sometimes get pushed aside in the middle of day-to-day work.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the assignment of rules to subtasks could be improved to better automate processes. At the moment, this isn’t possible, but it would be a very interesting feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Traceability, improved team performance, and the elimination of downtime. This enhances both my productivity and that of the team, as everyone clearly understands their role within each workflow.
Great Organization and Customizable Projects

The organization and the customization of the different projects

I wish you could assign more than one person to a project - you can get around this by having subtasks so not that big of a deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that we can take an idea or a topic and clearly organize it within Asana - break down big tasks into actionable items as well as have recurring roles assigned.

The application sometimes has issues, and I wish i can separate by tasks that I have created rather than the projects

Asana’s Customizable Setup Keeps Me Organized and On Task
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is completely customizable for any organization. I've used it at 2 different organizations and seen it implemented in 2 very different ways. However, I appreciate how it keeps me on task, allows me to see all the things I need to do in one place, and create custom boards I use for ideation project manage non-creative tasks on my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
If not set up correctly or not adjusted based on team growth, it can get clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization. Project tracking. Task assignment.
Efficient Task Management, but Overwhelming Notifications
What do you like best about the product?
I like the 'My Tasks' feature because it helps me start each day by clearly seeing what work is outstanding, understanding what the deadlines are, and knowing what's expected of me. I also find the AI capabilities for summarizing projects quite interesting as it saves me time by providing a high-level overview without needing to sort through all the individual tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just a lot of notifications, but I just learned on the training how to manage those notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage deadlines and tasks efficiently. The 'My Tasks' feature helps me track outstanding work and deadlines daily, and AI capabilities for summarizing projects save me time by providing a high-level overview.
User-Friendly and Efficient, Perfect for Small Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana incredibly user-friendly and easy to use. It's a perfect fit for my small team size. I like the app integration with Clockify, which saves my intern and me a lot of time in getting paid and tracking hours and timesheets. The visibility it provides for my team into projects and client tasks is really beneficial. I also appreciate how easy it is to add additional information for my intern. The integration with Gmail and the browser extension are the best things ever. Compared to ClickUp, Asana is much more user-friendly, cleaner, and easier for my intern to understand and track tasks. The initial setup for my team was incredibly easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a lot of clients, and sometimes it minimizes the number of projects on the left-hand side. That's the only thing that's been an issue so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows visibility for my team into projects, client tasks, and lets me add additional information for my intern.

There are some feature that should be added as it needs a little more flexibility.

asana keeps me and my client teams stay on track with the projects we collaborate on. It pushes the workflow forward easily
Simplifies Project Management Learning
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Asana provides a central location for my team to track projects and tasks, especially when they are dependent on different individuals. I really like how the initial welcome to Asana training had me create my own project within Asana to track the rest of my training. This approach helps me get to know how to use Asana with hands-on work immediately, rather than just looking at slide decks or videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Brand new to Asana. Nothing to report at this time.

Asana provides a central location for my team to track projects and individual tasks. The hands-on training helped me learn the tool effectively by creating my own project for training.
Versatile Task Management with Room for Automation Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for project and campaign management in a marketing team. I find that when used correctly, Asana provides tremendous insight into project and workload status. I really like the multi-home feature, which allows me to include a single task in multiple projects and campaigns. It's hugely beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automations builder is surprisingly limited, especially in regards to subtasks. Unless you want to spend significantly on Asana's add-on AI features or third-party plugins you are going to be better off using Zapier for almost all of your more sophisticated automation needs. The initial setup was easy but getting it to where we actually needed it to be to be effective for our team took a lot longer.

Asana solves lack of visibility, offering tremendous insight into project and workload status. The multi-home feature is hugely beneficial as it allows a single task to be included in multiple projects and campaigns.
Great Timeline View, Needs Better Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see a timeline view of tasks and being able to share with other individuals easily. The timeline view provides an easy birds eye view of upcoming tasks to help prepare my weeks. When I need others to help cover any responsibilities if I am away from the office, it is easy for them to see all necessary information to support my project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to see subtasks easier. Also the customization is not user friendly and has limited visibility. I would like to be able to permanently hide the assigned column and be able to color code various categories and sections. The initial setup was a bit cumbersome but after messing around I was able to set up my projects a bit easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for keeping track of tasks and organizing information. The timeline view gives an easy bird's eye view of tasks, helping me prepare my week. It's also easy to share necessary information with others to support projects.
