Asana Feels Like a Shared Brain For Our Team Work

  • January 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana does a great job of turning messy conversations into clear, trackable work. Tasks, subtasks, due dates, and dependencies make it easy to see who is doing what without constant follows ups. I especially like how different views (list, board, timeline) fit different working styles within the same team
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features feel hidden at first, so new users can take time to fully understand how powerful the tool really is. Notifications can also pile up if projects aren't structured cleanly, which requires a bit of discipline from the team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of scattered work across emails, chats, and spreadsheets. By keeping everything in one place, it has reduced missed deadlines, improved accountability. and helped projects move forward with fewer check ins. Overall its made collaboration calmer and more predictable.

  • January 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana gives out team a clear sense of direction. Tasks no longer live in emails or chat threads, they have owners, deadlines, and context. The timelines and dependencies make it easy to understand how small tasks connect to bigger goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features are hidden behind higher pricing tiers, which can be limiting for smaller teams. Also, new users my need a short learning period to fully understand views like Timeline and Portfolios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of scattered work and unclear accountability. By centralizing tasks and progress, it has reduced follows ups, improved delivery speed, and helped the team stay aligned without constant.

Intuitive Interface and Seamless Integrations Make Asana a Standout

  • January 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is the user interface, it is very intuitive and easy to navigate even for new joiners. I really like the 'Timeline' view because it helps me visualize the project roadmap clearly. Also, the ability to create subtasks and assign them to different people makes breaking down big tasks very simple. The integration with Slack is also very seamless which we use daily
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the notifications can get frustrating if you are with f many projects, Also, I feel the reporting features could be more advanced in the basic plan, right now we have to export data to excel for deep analysis. The mobile app is good but sometimes it is a bit slow to load when data is huge
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling with managing multiple projects across different teams and relying to much on emails and spreadsheets. It was getting chaotic to track who is working on what. Asana solved the visibility issue for us. Now we can track the progress of tasks in real time and it helps in reducing the internal meetings for status updates. It brings clarity on deadlines and ownership which was missing earlier in our workflow

Intuitive and Easy Task Management with Asana

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana intuitive and really appreciate how it helps organize tasks by internal company team. The user interface makes sense and it’s easy to add different subtasks, and assign other people to projects. This ease shortens the time needed to assign tasks, which gives me more time to execute them. Setting up Asana was very easy too; I just installed it, created an account, added it to teams, and I was done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the integration with Google Calendar to be lacking. Right now, standard Asana doesn't integrate with Google Calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project management as it helps to organize tasks and keep deadlines in mind. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to add subtasks and assign tasks, which shortens the time needed for task assignment.

Smooth Transition to Effective Task Management with Asana

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana to track due dates for licenses and inspections, which helps ensure we can see upcoming projects and prepare for them in advance. I find it easy to use, allowing me to take time off without needing to update someone on my project status. I like that I can write my notes in Asana and they become available to the team, improving our communications. It’s also easy to onboard new staff onto the app. I have Asana integrated into my Chrome and Microsoft tools. The transition was smooth compared to using Excel for project tracking, and the setup took about a week with a lot of tasks under our department. Since then, it has been smooth sailing. I really like Asana and wish my company would upgrade our membership.
What do you dislike about the product?
N/A
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to track due dates and ensure visibility of upcoming projects, which helps in preparation. It improves team communication, allows easy onboarding, and makes taking time off hassle-free without status meetings.

The First Tool That Made Our Deadlines Feel Predictable

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes work extremely transparent. I like how every task has no owner, deadline, and context, which reduces follow ups and confusion. This timeline and board views help different teams work in the way they prefer without losing alignment.
What do you dislike about the product?
For new users, the number of features can feel overwhelming at first. Some advanced reporting and automation options are locked behind higher pricing tiers, which may not suit very small teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of scattered communication and missed deadlines. By centralizing tasks, comments, and progress updates, our team has improved accountability, reached status meetings, and delivered projects more consistently and on time.

Clarity in Contract Management, Needs Time Management Fix

  • January 08, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like seeing everything very clearly listed in Asana, especially the dependencies that are within it. It just helps me keep a project going because I can see all the steps very clearly and how they play into each other. The automations that they have are really nice too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that in the year in review it said it saved me a bunch of time because sometimes managing it is a lot of time. That felt like a disconnect. Sometimes I'm wondering if it actually does that. I feel like sometimes they tote AI a little bit too much. There's something about humans managing things that's nice too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep everything in the contract organized and process steps clearly, making it easier to see dependencies and manage contracts effectively.
