Asana Makes Task Tracking and QA Collaboration Easy

    Reviewed on Sep 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how easy it is to organize and track work in one place. I especially like the task management features because I can clearly see what needs to be done, set priorities and deadlines, and track the progress of each task. For QA and software development, this makes it easier to follow testing activities, report and track issues, and collaborate with developers. The interface is also simple to understand, which makes it easy to manage multiple tasks without feeling overwhelmed.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Asana is that it can feel a little overwhelming when a project has many tasks, sections, and team members. It takes some time to understand all the available features and find the best way to organize a project. I also think some advanced features could be easier to discover and use for new users. However, once the workspace is properly organized, Asana becomes much easier to navigate and is useful for managing development and QA tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of keeping QA and software development work organized and visible. It helps me track testing tasks, bugs, priorities, deadlines, and the progress of different activities in one place. This makes it easier to know what needs attention and follow up with developers when issues need to be resolved. It also improves team communication and reduces the chance of missing important tasks. Overall, it helps me stay organized, manage my workload more efficiently, and have a clearer view of the project’s progress.

Intuitive Project Tracking with Timeline and Kanban That Keeps Teams Aligned

    Reviewed on Sep 03, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Asana provides an exceptionally intuitive task management workflow that keeps our ongoing cross-functional team projects organized. My favorite feature is the interactive Timeline view alongside customizable Kanban boards. It makes mapping dependencies, assigning clear task ownership, and tracking delivery milestones completely effortless. The platform eliminates ambiguity across sprint cycles.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement is the notification system, which can quickly become overwhelming during heavy project updates. A more granular filtering mechanism for automated alerts and recurring reminders would significantly enhance the daily user experience and help team members focus strictly on their highest-priority items without digital fatigue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana effectively solves project fragmentation and misaligned deliverables across our teams. Centralizing project milestones, deadlines, and direct responsibilities within one platform eliminates lengthy status check-ins and keeps cross-functional operations fully synchronized and productive.

keeps my development work organized and easy to track

    Reviewed on Sep 03, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Asana for a couple of years now and the biggest thing I like is that it keeps my work from getting all over the place. I can quickly check what I need to work on, what's pending, and what the team is doing. I mostly use it for managing development tasks and deadlines, and it's been pretty easy to stick with on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike is that some parts can feel a little overwhelming when there are a lot of projects and tasks. It can take some time to keep everything organized, especially with a bigger team. I also feel that some of the more advanced features could be easier to find and understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana mainly helps me keep track of all the work that needs to get done. Before using it, it was easier to lose track or forget deadlines, especially when working on multiple things at once. Now I can keep development tasks, priorities, and updates in one place, which makes it easier for me and the team to stay on the same page.
