Asana Makes Multi-Project Tracking and Cross-Team Collaboration Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Asana gives me ability to track multiple projects, tasks, and portfolio at the same time, easy implementation to collaborate across different department and teams. Tools to set task priorities, track tasks progress and manage resources, all is available in one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Asana is there is missing integration with Slack, it is one software that we use for communication and collaboration, but missing on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What I use for Asana is to manage business projects, tracking resources management, and to setup project templates that can be reused many times.
Outstanding Portfolio Management and Team Setup—Perfect for Running Multiple Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love, I mean LOVEEEEE the portfolio management capabilities. I also really appreciate the team structure and their updated custom field manager. As someone who runs multiple teams, 10/10 setup for my business. I also appreciate the lack of guest limits. Much appreciated. I use it every day. It's also been around forever and therefore integrates super well with other tools. The goal planner is also stellar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they are lacking in customization of fields. I appreciate that URLs in text fields act as URLs but it's odd for example that I can't make a link only field. Also, the relationships work well but I wish it worked two-way so I didn't have to click into multiple databases. Lastly, I wish I could disable assignee and due date on some projects OR have "items" that are not tasks. Customer support is so nice, but a bit slow. Lastly, I WISH I could drill down into reports the way I can in ClickUp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves my need for top-down view of my work. Reporting features are also helpful for capacity planning.
Steep Learning Curve Overshadows Visual Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's visual board for workflow and project management. The multiple view sorting abilities are particularly helpful. The initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be able to see all aspects of a task and write code for rules instead of using the AI assistant. It hides things I can see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for workflow and project management, mainly to keep track of team assignments and tasks.
Effortless Task Management, Needs Better Search Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use of Asana, especially being able to go from one project to another and shift a task to a different project if necessary. It's also great to be able to link to multiple projects when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search functions leave something to be desired; they're not really great. The AI has potential.

I use Asana to keep tasks sorted, manage priorities, assignments, and due dates, which are critical for communication.

I like that I can track as many projects and portfolios as I want, even across multiple teams.

I wish it had built-in CRM components like tracking email communication or phone calls.

Project management, it helps me to track all of our projects and keep track of roles and dates.

When tasks don’t have a due date, they get pushed to the very bottom and often end up not being completed.

Easy Interface, Smooth Onboarding, and Solid Collaboration

Easy interface, good basic collaboration tool, easy to start learning curve

It can also get cluttered when there are too many projects and notifications, which sometimes makes it harder to focus.

We were trying a side project, and needed a basic collaboration tool. Did the job as expected.

I have nothing negative to say about Asana's digital features and tools, my experience has been positive and professional and I can recommend each of its work features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to the use of Asana's digital features, I have been able to improve the management and visualization of all my business strategies, facilitating collaboration with my entire team and the organization of each of my professional operations.
Limited Customization with Frustrating UI
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing, it's fine
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the layout of Asana and that it's not more customizable. I also don't like that the feature of mirroring milestones and tasks from templates is only available with the highest tier that you can't even upgrade to easily and have to apply for. I absolutely hate the new left-hand structure of the menu that created plan workflow and company. I want to be able to see my teams and my tasks on the left menu from every view without having to click between those 3. That change created a ton more friction for me.

I use Asana for project management, CRM, and operations.
Streamlines Marketing with Easy Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I love the workflows and the ease of assigning tasks. I love that you can copy a lot of the functionality from project to project. The AI support is tremendously helpful especially with creating workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more resources on reporting . I do not find it easy to learn how Asana can report on our projects in a consumable format. The search functionality could improve as well mostly how to find files or attachments across Asana even within projects that are not mine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to efficiently manage deadlines and tasks across our team, keeping everyone on track. It helps us maintain order with customer activities, stories, and events. The goal is to improve our team adoption with using Asana for note management, project management (previously using spreadsheets), and lists.
