What do you like best about the product?

Asana helps to keep everything in one place for tasks and projects. I like that I can organize and customize it, create subtasks within a task, and assign them to different people. It gives our organization a clear view of what everyone needs to do. Asana is very easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?

It took some time to learn how to use it but otherwise I like everything about it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a property manager I have so many different tasks and projects going in at the same time and Asana helps keep me on track.

Ease in creating templates and reusing them

The desktop app is not user friendly in Mac

It is creating a streamlined timeline of repetitive projects

What do you like best about the product?

I’m a principal architect, and for years our tech debt was a list in my head plus a few old Slack threads. I made one board in Asana with a custom field for how bad it is if we ignore it. Last quarter an expired certificate on an internal service sat at the top of that list, and we fixed it two weeks before it would have broken checkout. Planning meetings are easier too, because I open the board sorted by risk instead of arguing from memory.

What do you dislike about the product?

Teams only update their items when I remind them. The custom field also needs a clear definition, or everyone marks their own item as high risk.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It’s not an architecture tool, but it gave the unglamorous work a place to live and a number next to it. Management now treats debt as real work with real risk, not a complaint.

The interface is very friendly and helps you manage your projects

Nothing, for the moment. I really like the platform

What do you like best about the product?

The most important thing for me while using Asana is the intuitive interface and user-friendly features. Our company just switched over to Asana from Workamajig which we HATED because of its inconvenient features so it's nice using a platform that is customizable and comes with ease of use.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think the default notifications are a bit overkill sometimes, but it's nothing that can't be tweaked to fit our needs. Since we've been using a different platform for so long, some users are struggling with the onboarding and getting used to the complex nature of the task cards, but I think that will come with time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's already helping us solve issues with sticking to budgets/timelines and keeping us on track. When you're using a manual traffic wall to keep jobs straight, it's easy for things to get lost in the shuffle but Asana makes it easy to see where we're at with everything at a glance.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Asana is web-based and easy to navigate. The onboarding process is incredible, and we use Asana to manage our initial trainings. Bulk updates provide an efficient way to assign tasks and dates, and I value the automation. I also found the initial setup very easy. Asana helps me manage the many activities going on.

I use Asana for overall project management of the many activities going on.

I find it very beneficial to be able to assign tasks and due dates, and to clearly see when work is due.

I dislike that there isn’t a way to assign a single task to multiple people, to have it come up on their task to due list.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is creating an ability to keep organizations on task, create known blockers, and be a repository of information on where we are at with task/projects.

I like how easy Asana is to use. I use it for daily and administrative tasks at the office, and I value its projects feature. The initial setup was very easy.

I think Asana's AI integration could be improved.

I use Asana for office work and administrative tasks. It’s easy to use and works well for my daily tasks and projects.

What do you like best about the product?

I appreciate that Asana offers multiple layers of options for organizing tasks and projects. Features like recurrences, dependencies, and other tools that let you add complexity to a more nuanced project aren’t typically included in out-of-the-box services, and that’s something I felt our team really needed. From the trainings, I also noticed genuine care put into the getting started section, and it was refreshing to see how far Asana has come since I first started using it back in 2018.

Right now, I’m beginning to build a reporting workflow that needs a higher level of complexity because there are many stakeholders involved, and we don’t have enough seats on our end. Even so, I’m confident I’ll be able to set up a workflow that fits the scoped reporting we currently do.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, I haven’t noticed many downsides. Most of the issues I can imagine would come from not fully understanding how to use the project, or from building workflows, automation, or logic in a way that isn’t clear or easy to follow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Creating a level of organization that brings together a lot of moving pieces for reporting, while still covering the details—things like data ingestion progress, the project timeline, workback scheduling, and coordinating with other teams to keep the reporting moving forward. I’m hoping this will help address those issues.

What I like most about Asana is its user-friendly interface and how easily it lets me organize tasks, track project progress, and collaborate with team members efficiently. It helps keep everyone aligned, manage deadlines, and make sure work gets completed on time. I also like that it clearly separates project names and differentiates each section, and it shows details like the correct creation time, ticket progress, and who the task is assigned by/to.

What do you dislike about the product?

Certain features and notifications could be more customizable, which would make the overall experience simpler, smoother, and more efficient.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Asana helps solve common challenges with task management, team communication, and project tracking. It keeps tasks, deadlines, and project updates organized in one place, which makes it easier for me to prioritize work, collaborate with team members, and stay aligned on what needs to happen next. With clearer visibility into progress and responsibilities, it’s simpler to track projects and make sure tasks are completed on time. Overall, it improves productivity, saves time, and reduces the chances of missing important tasks or deadlines.
