Dynamic and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of different customizations allowing different users to work on the same project in their specific way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to add board view on Portfolio or larger project icons to allow for pictures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project tasks creation and easy follow up.
It is ok, but not much customization available - too many notifications
What do you like best about the product?
Our whole team is on it, so it is a way to track our histories. I also think the AI is helpful in identifying where the unread notifications are or if there are comments that you still need to respond to.
What do you dislike about the product?
My team is really struggling to get the most out of this and I think it is partially because someone set it up wrong. But we are having to use the same workflows for creative and non creative use and there are so many different needs for each of those different marketing functions. Our team is set up like a project and its just bad. It is difficult to track stuff and I actually think we've over complicated the whole deal.
Also, the worst part is we have a ton of automations running and I get a notification about every single one. Those updates are treated like a comment tagging you so you cant filter them out without losing highly valuable notifications.

Good Project Visibility, But Lacks Flexibility in Dates
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the functionality of Asana that allows a clear view of what is being done in each project and by whom. This greatly facilitates project and people management in my creative team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss being able to view the same tasks on different dates. The limitations in the calendar view, which only shows dates according to the due date, force me to use another app to manage posting dates or other specific dates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of clear visibility over what each team member is doing in each project, facilitating the task management of my creative team.
A Reliable Partner for Streamlined Project Management and Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has become our team’s go-to space for getting things done. I love how visual and flexible it is — whether it’s managing sprint boards, planning campaigns, or tracking deliverables, everything just flows. The ability to switch between board, list, and timeline views helps everyone work the way they prefer. The little things, like task dependencies, automation rules, and reminders, really take the pressure off remembering everything manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel a bit heavy when we have massive projects with tons of subtasks — sometimes it lags a little. I also wish the reporting dashboards were more customizable for quick leadership insights. But honestly, these are minor compared to how much clarity it brings to our daily work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana, tasks were all over the place — emails, chats, spreadsheets. Now everything’s in one spot. It’s so much easier to track ownership, timelines, and progress. It’s helped us communicate better, stay accountable, and actually see where projects stand without chasing updates. It’s saved a lot of time and reduced confusion.
Intuitive and Fast, But Support Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love Asana for its fast performance, as it never lags and is always quick to load on my devices. I appreciate its flexibility in setting up projects, making it suitable for various workflows. The setup experience is intuitive, supported by fantastic onboarding resources and training. Asana simplifies task coordination across teams, making it easy to assign individuals to projects and tag people on specific tasks. I find the 'My Projects' view particularly helpful for organizing personal tasks across multiple projects. Additionally, I appreciate the ability to customize notifications, create subtasks, and integrate seamlessly with tools like Box, linking tasks to documents and resources smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have encountered numerous challenges with Asana's customer support and billing processes. The communication is often poor, and there seems to be a lack of responsiveness and accountability. This has made setting up a paid account difficult. The support experience feels disorganized, with my queries being shuffled between different teams, which is frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to coordinate work across teams and track project responsibilities. It's fast, flexible, and allows easy assignment and task tagging, enhancing efficiency.
Asana User for years
What do you like best about the product?
I like most of Asana features, you just really need to know how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The help is not consistent. It's really hard to get in touch with anyone there, almost like everyone is AI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana currently manages all of our projects, very helpful
Great for company organization and communication!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has a lot of capabilities that allow all departments of our team to communicate efficiently. For example, we've created a project called "Project Review" where we all collaborate on client projects and can keep tabs on what stages the project is in quickly. This allows us to know what needs done, who's responsibility it is to keep it moving, and when something no longer needs attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited number of users you can add at different stages of memberships.

Project Organization! Our workflow has significantly improved since using Asana. It helps to organize, prioritize and streamline to-dos. With each project having its own tab to deep dive into, this allows us to keep all the details in one place. While we don't always need the information, it is helpful to have handy if passing off work to someone else, or needing to refer to information quickly.
I also enjoy having the feature of completing a task but having the benefit of keeping it in projects to refer back to. This helps when training new employees and allows them to refer to if stuck on next steps.

With few bumps, Asana is great for my small non-profit team.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is fairly intuitive to implement on a basic level, and it's easy to scale the space to our team size (We use the basic business package so it doesn't include portfolios, but since we're a small team we can get similar use out of teams and using asana projects to hold multiple smaller projects).
I've also worked with the Asana help desk a few times - although I wish you could directly speak with someone either on the phone or via chat on their website instead of opening a ticket, the tickets have always been responded to within about 24 hours and the staff are super knowledgeable and helpful.
Finally, the Asana Forum is a BIG help in finding answers to questions or workarounds to functionality pieces that aren't officially available.

What do you dislike about the product?
My team recently moved from being a fiscally sponsored program to having our own email addresses; unfortunately in Asana that meant creating a brand new space and individually migrating projects which did take some time and troubleshooting. In this same transition we moved from integrating Asana with MS Office to Google Workspace, and (for us) the integration isn't quite as intuitive or helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is our central space for tracking, discussing, and assigning work. It keeps key information all together and ensures that items/to-do's/assignments don't get lost because they live as tasks with reminders. It's also very helpful to search for completed tasks/projects and review the history of a piece of work.
Asana as a Project Manager in Branding
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana brings clarity to chaos. It makes it so much easier to keep everyone on the same page, celebrate progress, and spot roadblocks early. Plus, it’s intuitive enough that even non-techy teammates can jump right in — which is huge for collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only real challenge with Asana is that it can get cluttered fast if everyone isn’t using it the same way. When the team is aligned on process, it’s magic — but it definitely takes intentional setup and maintenance to keep everything feeling clear and manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our team stay organized and aligned across multiple clients and projects. It gives everyone visibility into priorities, deadlines, and responsibilities — which cuts down on back-and-forth communication and helps us focus on actually doing the work instead of tracking it down. It’s made collaboration smoother, accountability stronger, and project delivery more consistent.
