What do you like best about the product?
I like the visual board where I can see tasks moving from one stage to another. It gives one the motivation to see the tasks to completion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet, I have just to use it to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping me manage day to day tasks that are not necessarily repetitive but also new ones that come up.

Asana Makes Work Flow!

  • June 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We used to use spreadsheets and word documents for endless checklists and organizational tools that needed organizational tools just to keep organized! Now we just use Asana. It does everything were trying to do, plus so much more! And it is continually improving (I don't know how, but they do it!).

Asana has integrated seamlessly with our work flow and has sense become a crucial element in our project management. We even use it for our personal life! It is quite intuitive to use and we have found it easy to implement in every project. In fact, to start a project means to open Asana.

The customer support team has always been responsive if we need them, but to tell you the truth, we haven't needed much customer support. It is great to know they are there when we need them!
What do you dislike about the product?
Considering we use it every day of the week, the only downside would be if we couldn't use it...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest problem was that our "checklists" were getting cumbersome and too complicated. Asana allows us to have that level of complication and detail in our tasks and assignments for various projects while being able to easily step back and look at a simple list view, or calendar, etc.

This has allowed us to step away from spreadsheet and word document versions of 'task lists' and put it all in Asana, which provides for communications specific to each project and task, as well as notifications, etc.

It has simplified things without us have to be too 'simple' with our tasking. We can be super detailed and information rich with each task without cluttering the list.

Granular project management system for multi-use

  • June 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are many project management tools similar to Asana, but there's one area where none can match it. I really appreciate how detailed and customizable Asana is. With features like custom fields, API integration, and various add-ons—all designed to be easy to use—I've yet to find any other software that comes close.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few important features I wish Asana had, and I'm surprised it doesn't. The main thing I dislike is that it doesn't work with the Apple Watch. I often think of tasks when I'm driving or out and about, and being able to quickly add them through my watch is very important to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small team that works on many projects together. Asana makes it really simple to keep everything organized.

Strong platform with intuitive features

  • June 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana provides clear accountability and accessibility for team members to assure tasks, objectives, and projects are a clear application of the ideas that spawned them. The connectivity/dependencies of tasks are helpful, and the features keep improving.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish tutorials were available simply by toggling on a "Help" cursor and then hovering over certain things, so you could understand what they mean. Some of the AI features seem to be turned on automatically and are creating tasks for me, I don't prefer that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping to solve sequential problems or business development projects that have phases and involve many people over a long period of time.

Our one-stop source for project management

What do you like best about the product?
We have used Asana as an organization for 4 years and I have used it for the last 7. The tool set, interface, reporting, and workflow management has always aligned well with the way I want a project management software to function.

The workflow automation, APIs, and RBAC tooling have been integrated across our department and have paid huge dividends. The mobile app is also great for helping to manage your task load.

The implementation process was easy, especially with their robust documentation, video library, and onboarding help from Asana itself. The customer support has been more than helpful, and the community of Asana users, especially in their ambassador's organization, really help us keep our organization as optimized as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any software, there are areas that are not quite as intuitive or not an exact fit for our needs. The APIs are great, but some of the hooks to larger software solutions, like Dev Azure, should be integrated out-of-the-box.

While there are great export options to applications like Google Sheets, it would be great if the UI of Asana allowed for some of the bulk actions we need, like bulk duplicate merging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a software company in the development department, and Asana has been a fantastic tool for organizing our workflows and project/product management. Through their API, we have been able to connect all of our organizational software tools like Salesforce and Azure Dev Ops to create a single source of truth for our team, as well as for reporting. This allows our team to work in one tool all the time, and still effectively communicate our progress with other teams in our company that use different tools.

We have a domestic and distributed development team, so the ability to work in Asana and have that work reflected in Azure Dev Ops for our distributed team is essential to our efficeincy.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana allows teams to like tasks to multiple projects and tracks goal progress simultaneously. It displays information in a color coded format that makes it easy to organize and prioritize
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the fact that it won’t link emails to specific tasks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is making my team more efficient by keeping our documents, goals, reports, and time logs in one place

Solo business-friendly, with tools to help me scale

  • June 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've used almost every project management tool out there, and while there have been pros and cons of each, quite often I've found that they have too much going on that it becomes overwhelming as a small business owner with a handful of clients at any one time. What I like about Asana is that it does the basics well, giving me the tools I need to manage my small (but important) number of projects, while also having scalability built in - I know that as I grow, Asana will adapt to what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a solo business owner, it's on me to make sure projects are getting done, tasks are being captured and that I'm working towards my big picture goals. Asana helps me track my daily tasks, managing outsourcing, keep clients in the loop on their projects and work towards big goals in bite-size chunks.

My secret weapon for staying organized

  • June 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Where do I even begin?! Asana has completely transformed how I manage my tasks and ideas. My absolute favorite feature is the ability to create a dynamic, running to-do list for the future. I no longer have to stress about remembering things, I just set a due date, and it reappears exactly when I need it.

It’s also a total game-changer for capturing brainstorms. I can quickly jot down ideas, park them for later, and revisit them when the timing is right. No more losing brilliant thoughts to the abyss.

For people like me who hate bugging my coworkers, collaboration is seamless. I love being able to assign tasks directly to my teammates, it keeps everyone aligned and accountable without the nagging and follow ups. It keeps the thread in one place for the task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge I’ve run into is with recurring tasks. When I complete one, the next one often carries over content from the previous task. Instead of starting fresh, I end up with clutter or outdated notes that I have to manually clean up. It would be amazing if each recurring task could open as a clean slate, or at least give the option to reset it, so it feels truly new each time. But honestly, it’s a small tradeoff for everything else it empowers me to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me stay organized without feeling overwhelmed. I used to have tasks and ideas scattered everywhere (notes apps, emails, random Slack messages) but now everything lives in one place.

It makes it super easy to keep track of what I need to do, what’s coming up, and what I can ignore for now. I love that I can set due dates way in the future and forget about it until it pops back up when it matters.

It also makes working with my team smoother. Assigning tasks, adding context, following up, it’s all built in one thread/task, so nothing gets lost or forgotten. Honestly, it just helps me feel more on top of things without needing to stress or overthink it.
