What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that some people work better with lists, others work better with flowcharts, gantts, or calendars. Asana is flexible and adapts to the user and the project seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's the best tool of its type, but sometimes with multiple projects, it can get unwieldy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a perfect place to track projects and create collaborative agendas.

Helped Our Marketing & Project Management Teams

  • June 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is helpful to be able to see the work we are doing in different views. I prefer the Board view whereas other team members like List or Timeline. We are able to use this to better manage a variety of projects whether they be internal marketing initiatives or external client projects. I love that we can add guests so that various stakeholders can see the progress of a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some team members can be overwhelmed by Asana and not know where to get started, though I think this is a challenge that would arise with any project management software!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enhances productivity since we can create template projects and easily duplicate them when starting a new project or initiative. It also keeps us organized and on the same page.

Game Changer for Team Organization and Work Management

  • June 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Having tried other platforms like Smartsheet and Monday, Asana has the cleanest, user-friendly design that doesn't require extensive training. Asana AI Studio is a game changer for automating workflows and coordination.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time-tracking features are pretty basic and we needed to integrate third party solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana provides a structure for accountability and tracking deadlines. Without clear ownership and tracking tasks use to fall through cracks and deadlines were missed. Asana makes task ownership explicit and provides atuomated reminders, helping ensure accountability and on-time delivery.

Switched from Teams to Asana

  • June 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very clear training videos to get you familiar with the system when you starts. one place to log all individual and team tasks, monitor progress, share updates in terms of comments, screen shots, files and add comments. Allows teams to work together and clearly see who is responsible for what. flexibility in using the system to build projects in a way that works for your team. For example you could have individual projects for every single project with bite sized tasks and subtasks or you could have one project which contains all on going tasks, there is flexibility to make the system work for your needs. Im very happy we switched from teams as it felt like I was constantly going from multiple different windows and wasting a lot of time to now we have a very streamlined system which clearly logs progress and enables more efficient communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across anything major yet. A tiny thing is that subtasks can't be dragged out of tasks so if the subtask suddenly becomes a larger task you will have to add it again
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-streamlined team communication
-monitoring team progress
-ensuring all team members are informed of ongoing and upcoming projects and key dates
-efficient time management
-individual team members have higher levels of self management

Better than Microsoft Planner

  • June 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout, the simplicity of it. It's so easy to use and everything is laid out and easy to find.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I prefer Asana to Planner, it's so much better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had trouble with laying out my tasks, keeping on top tasks other people were giving me, Asana allows me to keep it all in one place. Even so I can create a form for others to fill out and it goes straight into my requests.

Love Asana!

  • June 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use and has lots of features that are really helpful to make work processes more efficient. There are lots of app integrations available too. I use this every day to coordinate projects with external clients, but have also used it for internal processes. The support team is also very personable and tend to respond to questions and issues pretty promptly. It's easy and flexible to implement whatever we need to for use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the free plan had more capabilities particularly around privacy of projects and teams so you're not essentially forced into using a paid version. Some features and functionalities also aren't available when it comes to rules and automation and reporting / data visualisation capabilities for projects and portfolios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes task tracking super easy and ensures that things don't slip through the cracks. Rules and automations also help to cut out certain steps of the project management process and remove some manual handling

Asana: The Sanity Saver

  • June 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has the ability to turn the chaos in your head and diary into a workable plan.
It is easy to navigate, very visual, and simple to learn.
What is the saying: A minute to learn, a lifetime to master. The possibilities seem endless at the moment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides are I am just starting my business, so I had to opt for the 'free/guest' version, I am aware it can do much more, but at the moment I can't access all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Timetabling,
Delegation
Prioritizing within and of tasks
