I am monitoring the activities of competitors, so I find it very useful to be able to cover related information on just one platform.
Great platform for market research
What do you like best about the product?
The easy way to search and identify topics that you want to research on helps a lot during market research. You can scan multiple earnings reports, annual reports and analyst reports seamlessly in a few moments that would otherwise take hours. I frequently use it for various proposals as well as competitor research.

I couldn't find a lot of cons of this platform

AlphaSense has equipped its platform with AI and data-led insights. There's a lot of flexibility in the tool if you want to deep-dive into a particular topic. It can scan across transcripts, competitors, news flow to create a crisp summary. It helps you digest the key ideas or themes. You can explore in detail. Sometimes I just use it to do a keyword search and let the tool work its magic to take me to unexplored topics!
In summary, I like the tool's:
1. Simple and intuitive user interface.
2. Comprehensive research coverage with premium broker reports
3. AI integration - helps in accessing and digesting all the materials
4. Data-driven approach - generate frequency graphs by topic of mentions and deeper dive based on interest.

What do you dislike about the product?
I guess it's the pricing. I don't have the details but my organization cut down on Alphasense seats due to exorbitant pricing.
Sometimes, you might find it difficult to find the 'filters' section.
AI features can be further improved. For example, when creating AI summaries, it repeatedly refers only a few set of reports.
Customer supprt is not as efficient as I might want. It might take days to address your concerns.

I need to find the right information quickly to inform my consulting assignments. It does that job beutifully. It can search across company transcripts and filings, research reports, news items to surface the right content in a few clicks.

Easy to find information about companies. I use it 2-3x a week and it is very helpful for my job.

No dislikes about the platform, it is easy to use.

Accurate, fast, comes out with updates frequently and they work

The excel plugin sometimes crashes and or takes a while to load, wheras sentieo did not

1. Has a very broad catalog of research resources - comany disclosures, equity research reports, expert network interview transcripts

1. It doesn't have a large financial database to compliment its Wall Street research section
2. Would be nice to have an indicator in the app showing how many more equity research report pages I can download. Right now I tend to guess as what my balance is

It allows me to quickly search a broad range of reports and news sources to quickly find the latest and most relavent information I need for my projectes related to market developments and competitive intelligence.
