Easy-to-Navigate Hub for Company Insights
What do you like best about the product?
It concentrates a lot of information from a lot of companies, but it is easy to navigate and find the information you're looking for, making it more accessible and easier to gather insights
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have an Excel plug-in like S&P has, so I can't export data from Alphasense directly into Excel using the plug-in without having to go into the Alphasense platform, download the data, and then make the analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aggregating financial data, I can see what the different companies are saying and what their financials are, and the tool provides transcriptions of earnings calls that I can turn into insights. That level of information gives me competitive intelligence, financial benchmarking, industry trends, etc
Faster Market Research with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of use with AlphaSense and how it allows me to search for keywords quickly. It brings up very good and high-quality articles, which is great for my research needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think at the moment, sometimes the new user interface is difficult to use. What else that could be improved is to ensure that searches come up with high quality articles. It's very easy for low quality articles and research reports to come out. So if there's a way to filter for high quality articles, like from JPMorgan, well-published analysts, and so on, that would be good so we don't get results from low quality sources and articles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlphaSense lets me access research quickly, faster than Google. I like its ease of use, fast keyword searching, and the high-quality articles it brings up.
No-Show Demo and Two Weeks of Silence: A Deeply Unprofessional Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I thought their curated AI-assisted lookup feature was pretty good.
What do you dislike about the product?
They demoed their platform for me. We were set to have a launch 8:30am which required us to rearrange our schedules. Alphasense was a no-show. It's been two weeks and we have not heard back from them after repeated emails to multiple people. Probably the most unprofessional experience I've ever had in nearly 30 years of doing business. Even if the product was perfect, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It didn't solve any problems because they completely ghosted our team.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like AlphaSense because it stands out among similar CI platforms. It brings together an exceptionally large library of premium financial, corporate, and industry content with advanced, context-aware AI search that surfaces highly relevant insights in seconds, saving analysts and consultants significant research time. I also appreciate its generative AI features, which synthesize findings with citations, and the option to integrate internal company documents so everything lives in a single, secure research hub for both proprietary and external information. Overall, these capabilities support faster, more accurate decision-making and make it easier to streamline collaboration across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
AlphaSense’s main drawbacks, in my experience, are usability and cost. While the platform is very powerful, those features come with a steep learning curve and a complex interface, which makes it difficult for me to refine searches and navigate the large volume of information it returns. The breadth of coverage can also create information overload, so I have to spend extra time filtering and narrowing results to find what I need. At the same time, there is limited data and information on CIS (Russian) and Asian companies. Finally, it is a premium, high‑cost solution, which can make it less accessible for smaller teams or organizations with tight budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlphaSense helps me address the challenges of scattered information, slow manual research, and the difficulty of synthesizing large volumes of market and financial data by bringing premium external sources and internal company documents together in a single, AI‑powered research platform. Its advanced search, summarization, and alerting features meaningfully accelerate insight generation and lower the risk of overlooking important developments. As a result, I’m able to make faster, more accurate decisions and maintain a more streamlined, efficient research workflow.
Improvement Required for Scientific Translation
What do you like best about the product?
The initial installation of AlphaSense went smoothly, I encountered no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
But it could also be improved. Optimize the translation or writing of scientific documents.

I want to use AlphaSense to read and write scientific articles, but I think the translation and writing could be improved.
Consistently Accurate and God-mode Results Every Time
What do you like best about the product?
The output is always accurate and concise for every query.

Previously, I had to download broker reports and manually search for the information I needed, which would take at least 15 minutes per report. Now, it only takes me 2 minutes to find what I need. Saving 13 minutes per report feels like a game changer—this is truly a god mode product.
Saves Time and Delivers High-Quality Outputs
What do you like best about the product?
I love how AlphaSense helps me find financial information quickly, especially qualitative ones, and summarize large amounts of content. It saves me a lot of time and enables me to deliver higher quality work. The initial setup was easy, and the demo session introduced it well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes does not find exactly what I want, but that's common across other LLMs. I may ask it about a topic for a company, and I will manually find a better section of the company's filings that better address the topic.

Advanced Insights but Needs Better Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
AlphaSense is a useful tool for monitoring competitive activities and announcements. I appreciate that the AI tool is advanced enough to not only tag documents of interest but also summarize and address questions, saving me time. I find that I can get a summary answer from the AI, which helps in efficiently handling business questions without scanning through numerous documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not always easy to navigate the different sources and set up alerts. And sometimes setting up alerts just results in a lot of noise. No there is no integration - it is all manual. Given the cost structure, we may have to switch back to another provider. It is a great tool but can be cost prohibitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use AlphaSense to monitor competitive activities, get late-breaking news on developments, and save time with AI that summarizes documents and addresses questions.
Useful, efficient Market Intelligence tool, but expensive for what it is
What do you like best about the product?
AlphaSense proved intuitive and efficient for market intelligence. Generative AI Search consistently delivered high-quality summaries from earnings calls, expert transcripts, broker research, and news, helping me validate theses faster and reduce manual reading time. Also, the saved searches and alerts kept me current on sector moves without overflowing my inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
I occasionally found the price difficult to justify, given that emerging AI solutions provide comparable depth of market intelligence at a more accessible price point. Other than that, I found the platform to be super comprehensive + helpful for my market intelligence needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlphaSense helps me quickly gather B2B market insights for my market intelligence role. It centralizes earnings calls, analyst research, news, and filings, and the generative search summarizes the key points so I spend less time reading and more time validating hypotheses. This results in: faster insight generation, fewer missed signals, and less tool switching in my day-to-day.
Fast, Concise Answers but Can Feel Overwhelming for Deep Research

A bit overwhelming at first, and sometime it feels like I'm going deeper into a branch of a research topic and in that process losing track of the overall tree structure that I was coming from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When doing market research, both industry wide as well as on a specific company and its peers. The information is quickly pulled together with links to all underlying analyses, reports, interview transcripts and earnings meetings. This accelerates the process to build and understanding of an industry into specific insights in a very effective way.
