Simple project management that works the way you want it to.
What do you like best about the product?
The clean interface that works well. We also use the API to automatically create dev request which is really handy.
We commonly use TP as a knowledge base for all development issues. All issues are submitted into TP and tracked there as request. Those request can become bugs and/or stories. Regardless of the type of TP it is, we can search TP and retrieve stored solutions and fixes previous devs used.

What do you dislike about the product?
TP has several features that don't work well in IE but do in other browsers. The lack of browser compatibility is annoying and I am even using IE 11.
The main search feature doesn't allow sorting by created date, TP number etc. To perform sorts like that, we have to create a TP3 board and search on the board and then sort on the board columns. It would be nice if the general TP search allowed sorts.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using TP to manage our Agile development for several in house projects. Its has helped us to keep track of where our projects are in the development life cycle. It has also helped us determine where our deficiencies are when we see TP's being split across sprints.
We are using TP for Agile development
What do you like best about the product?
Target process is easy to use with different views and reports.
It´s also easy to step between Epics down to task.
We are using TP for Product increment planing (PI) and it´s easy to move user stories from one sprint to another.
It's also a good tool to measure the team sprint velocity.

What do you dislike about the product?
It´s hard to get a good overview like the one we get when we are using post-it on a wall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building a sell system and are doing PI-planning and sprint planning in TP
Excellent for freelance and contract work
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to configure work flows and intuitive panels definition and grouping
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of competition in same market with such high specification
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bugs and new fearures
TargetProcess has allowed me to apply structure to our product delivery processes
What do you like best about the product?
TargetProcess encapsulates our entire SDLC in a single location, and allows us to track product development all the way from inception through design, development and testing to deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for people without an Agile background can be steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool that would help us with standardize our project processes, with centralized progress tracking and reporting.
Targetprocess is a nice tool for development project management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the best the option for each individual to set up their own views, what they like and what fits them most from their perspective. I have worked with Targetprocess as both developer and manager and it fits both roles really nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes expect too much from Targetprocess, there are some impossible boards and functionalities that I would like to have. Some fields are not possible to put into horizontal/vertical lanes - although to give credit where it's due - they are expanding that list over time. Targetprocess is missing some features for the managers as some mass editing of user stories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing our development through Targetprocess, we also use the Help Desk features for the products we have developed and are supporting. As a tool, it fits these roles really well.
The benefit is to have everything in one place, we have multiple smaller teams that are sometimes working together on bigger products and with team workflows, definable teams and projects it is really possible to solve these problems.

What do you dislike about the product?
The time sheets UI is not great and it is very tedious to enter time there. Also would be great to have personal default values for Category/Job code in the Time Sheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm only a developer, not really concerned about this question.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's better than JIRA
Easy to learn - hard to master
What do you like best about the product?
Works very nice for small and big projects. Customazation is the KEY of TP!
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom excel export. Maybe it is implemented but i do not know how to use it...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main reason that we use the TP is project management .
As co - founder of a small startup project BurzaOtpada we do not need detailed project management , basically the process is adjusted so it can be easy to use .
In my day job as a lead developer in the company Hattricksg.com we use TP to maximum . A number of products , projects , different workflows for projects / products .
As I mentioned earlier - Customatizaton is the key !

Its flexibility, different teams can work in different ways and I still get to see the PMO view I need for planning resourcing and reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting could be a little easier to configure
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
introducing agile working practices into a very Waterfall business structure, the company is slowly coming around to the way of thinking and the visibility we can give people gives them the security they need to back us.
