Airtable New User
What do you like best about the product?
It takes excel and merges that visual format with a database like functionality. It is super user friendly and allows a wild amount of customization through formals, scripting, an extension ecosystem, and prebuilt options. It is also very user friendly and responsive and visually appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is super customizable, but some customization features have a limit. For example, Scripting is very flexible, but a button-initiated script has more script functions available to it than an automated script.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making a database-like functionality very accessible. I am using it as a backend for a front end no code web builder extension. It is very powerful and is allowing people to get to the meat of data manipulation without the barriers of having to learn how to set up a server or a unique code language.
Modern piece of software serving us adequately
What do you like best about the product?
Capable of storing more diverse data in a structured and organized way. Allows third party to input data into the base. Generates Gantt charts from tables representing tasks with start and end dates
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization is satisfactory but the user access levels fail to live up to the flexibility the rest of the platform provides
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintain project oversight and never miss a deadline. Access data and migrate it to other databases without compromising its integrity. Breaking down huge tasks into subtasks for easier assignment to teams
Best no-code tool for database management
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has made it very simple to launch simple applications using no-code tools only. Its integration with multiple widely used no-code tools like Bubble has made it very simple to create applications. Apart from that, the support for writing functions, and calling out get post requests inside makes it a top-notch database management tool. It has become very simple to create interactive dashboards using Airtable for DBMS. For starting out and making a quick MVP, use Airtable. This can be understood by those also who don't know to code and fear a bit of technical Mongo DB.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've loved Airtable till now, no issues with the tool. My only hesitation is that it is expensive, but haven't found any other tool that can be so simple to set up without any technical expertise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for managing data and building out a simple MVP using the integration with other no-code tools. This helps me try out small ideas, do interactive surveys and make simple dashboards using the data.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Its simple to use, its like a Excel but with a lot of applications that you can use for your organization, my team use its all the days and you can use it in your cellphone too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes is very slow to use, like in the appliacation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Control inventory, Sales order, Programation for post order and tables for presentations with data of our clients
It will completely change your way to manage your job
What do you like best about the product?
It is 100% personalizable, super simple to use. With the filter and the systems of views, it's easy to work. We use it as a team, we can manage all the information at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, the design can be improved a little bit. The tables look all the same, we can not personalize the color of the column or line for example. With this option, it will be more readable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solved a lot of problems that we had. We can work on it at the same time, with different filters and views. When there is a Changement, we get notified. We can improve our table at any time to make some automation, improvement.
AirTable is a life-changing tool. And I'm not overstating.
What do you like best about the product?
If you have great logical/computational thinking and love creating/building things... AirTable may become life-changing for you (as it's become for me).
It has a steeper learning curve than most other more specified SaaS tools (e.g. Project management, knowledge management, ticketing systems etc.) but once you master AirTable - you can build nearly anything with AirTable and customise any user interface to your specific needs.
Build:
• Internal apps
• Databases
• Workflow optimization
• Process automation
• Dashboards
• Even backend for customer-facing apps
The only weakness of AirTable is that it doesn't yet have its customer-facing app drag & drop builder... but it can easily integrate with a lot of app builders like Glide / Bubble / Adalo.
At my company, I'm continuously rebuilding various SaaS apps (we used to use for internal management) helping my team cut contracts and save hundreds of thousands of dollars.

What do you dislike about the product?
• No customer-facing app drag and drop builder (AirTable is focusing on internal apps)
• Automations stop working when a limit is reached (e.g. if you reach your email sents limit - your automation will face errors and these automations will not re-run the next day)
• AirTable forms is powerful tool working in unison with AirTable, however, the forms themselves lack flexibility to customise and more advanced features
• Interface graphs can show only a single data point on a graph (no multiple KPIs, no benchmark or goal line etc.). Overall AirTable is very basic when it comes to data visualisation on a graph (Sheets or Excel are much better here)
• Pretty weak user and editing history management - you can only see editing history on a record level but not on a field (column) or tab (sheet) level. You can only see a history list of deleted records/views/tabs but you can see a history list of data edits)
• You can't add comments/notes directly to a specific cell (instead to see comments you need to open entire record)
