Best collaboration tool I've been able to find

  • July 13, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This tool has a fantastic user interface. Super intuitive and easy to use out of the box. I was able to start working without any training, but it was even better after I researched some tips and tricks on YouTube. The templates are fantastic. You just choose one that looks like it is the closest to what you're looking for, then customize it. Super easy to set priorities and assign tasks to team members. I have six different workspaces set up on the free version, and I still haven't maxed out its usefulness. I can only imagine how awesome the paid version is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say. Sometimes linking fields has been awkward and difficult, but I'll get the hang of it eventually. Honestly, I've been using it for almost two years, and I struggle to come up with dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables me to capture every aspect of a project quickly and easily. It enables clients to review progress without even picking up the phone or composing an email. I never lose ideas or tasks because it's all tied together in AirTable.

I haven't found anything that I dislike about the product yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our data is currently housed in our CRM, but the CRM doesn't allow us to maneuver data in an efficient manner

Excellent solution for database calculations

  • July 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is an excellent solution to capture data in the cloud in an orderly and accurate way, it offers multiple features that allow a more fluid use of the platform, it also has help videos for all the functions it offers and will offer and a quality support that helps you in whatever you need, allows you to view and link several documents together which makes the perspective in which we see it change and give us different ideas, in short it is a highly professional tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I could mention and highlight as a problem is that the best functions, especially the filtering and advanced calculation functions are available in the most expensive plan and that bothers me a little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What makes Airtable stand out from other platforms is its great level of organization and data linking, there are times when we need to see a broader picture to better judge the path to choose and no platform does it better than Airtable, this platform helps you organize and categorize in the most optimal way possible as well as to link similar projects and offer ideas that you never would have thought, it has been very helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A very high degree of organization

Exceptionally robust and adaptable solution

What do you like best about the product?
I am a serial entrepreneur with multiple projects and hobbies. From client work to content schedules to tracking my budget and aquarium maintenance, I need reliable tools that I can fully customize to my needs. I have used Asana, Trello, Google Docs, you name it, but Airtable always comes out ahead for project management, organization, and an overall better experience. I love the ability to configure multiple views, link records to each other, and attach just about anything. Especially for me as a writer and marketer, I need to see the same information in several different ways, but I don't necessarily need task management or other project management features. The nice thing about Airtable is that you can choose the components you want, whether that's actual data and formula calculations like Excel, powerful asset management, or mapping out social posts, blogs, etc. ... the possibilities are endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Airtable is that some of the most helpful organization features, such as color-coding based on filters and advanced calendar views, are only available in the Pro plan, which is pricy if all you want is more customization. I feel those should be available in the Plus plan, and save the Pro plan for the advanced team management features and apps.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves one main problem with most project management apps and spreadsheet programs: a static view that does not show relationships among items. Some solutions do allow you to track dependencies, etc. but when you are managing content, tracking goals and objectives, or trying to make calculations, you need to be able to link items however you want. That's why Airtable's ability to add rich data to items, link and categorize them, and sort them into multiple views is game-changing. I'm able to sort and organize massive amounts of information no matter how simple or complex the data is.

It also provides me with a one-stop-shop for running all my enterprises. Budgeting and profit-loss? Covered. Task management and goal setting? Definitely. CRM and client portals? Yep. Marketing calendars and photo/graphic collection? That, too! While I do use other apps for certain endeavors, Airtable is my homebase for everything I need to do.

Air table Review

  • June 24, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is very user-friendly, helpful when dealing with remote or large size teams. There are thousands of free templates for each field like project management, CRM, tracking, planning, and many more. An excellent tool, I do recommend to every professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations as well, like the formula will be implemented on the complete column, so we can not implement formula on cell level.
Secondly, if the team size is large, then the monthly price package becomes high in total.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am doing the Project Planning and tracking with the air table. Also, I am managing CRM with this tools.

Extremely Versatile Database

  • June 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is an extremely versatile database that allows for a ton of customization and automations that make it an invaluable tool for running your organization. You can set up a ton of different types of fields, views, and filters that allow for an endless number of applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there's not really anything that I can say that I absolutely dislike about it. There are a ton of features to learn, which might take some time but ultimately it makes it a much more versatile product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've built an organization that runs off of Airtable to schedule meal deliveries from restaurants to community centers across the country. We wanted this to be a very automated process, and using Airtable's internal automation along with integrations with a few other services, we've managed to make it more or less run on its own!

An incredible platform for those looking to make the jump from spreadsheets to databases

  • June 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is an easy and straightforward platform that allows us to rapidly create databases that are accessible to users that are just moving from spreadsheets.

Another plus is the cost! It's incredibly affordable for small businesses and can handle the workload as they grow. It's a great tool to transition small companies used to spreadsheet data management into databases and one that won't be outgrown for a while.

There are also dozens of ways to integrate Airtable into other services like email, accounting software, ecommerce, and more. The ability to automate processes within Airtable and with external services is really countless.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who has also worked with large-scale custom databases, I do find some limitations in terms of advanced functions. Too often I find myself creating a lot of hidden workarounds to join data across bases.

BUT this dislike is because I am personally familiar with designing and coding SQL where I am used to more functions and can directly code a database vs creating workarounds using platform tools. I have similar frustration with aspects for SalesForce for the same reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now consult for small businesses and have found that Airtable solves their need to move into a database without breaking the bank. Too often SalesForce and QuickBase are just beyond their budgets of small businesses. Airtable is perfect here and has been regularly adding new features that allow these businesses to continue to scale without needing to immediately move to a new "bigger" platform.

Build your own database for the win .

  • June 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can customize everything on Airtable. We needed a very unusual database due to the population we serve, and although it took some work, it is now built to serve the organization's needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automation features are difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is keeping much better track of the population served. It keeps us more organized, and makes information easier to find.

I like the flexibility to create different views. It's helped me organize all my projects in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and collaboration.

airtable is the perfect allrounder for managing almost everything

  • June 07, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about airtable is their versatility and how you can quickly adapt specific fields or views to serve your needs. I especially like how you can manage and organize information easily.
It is also great, that you can share different views and formulars with other people. Additionally I really love the community and that there are always new and exciting things, which make airtable even greater.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really very little I dislike. One thing I would wish for is that you can share certain Blocks with others without having to share the whole base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I organize my tasks.
I also use it to write reports.
I use the color block to manage the color spectrum for my layouts.
I use it to record information to changes in processes. Here I often also use formulas so that others can also contribute without them having full access.
Often I use shared views to share information.
I use it to organize projects and many more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it, and you will see for yourself. Be creative.
