Best Collaboration Tool Available
What do you like best about the product?
This software makes life so easy with its amazing easy-to-build database sheets. As advertised, you can organize and create any database within Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
This software is no Microsoft Excel rival, but it comes in very strong with autosave features, customization, collaborative abilities, and mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This reliable software helps with tracking, data storage, collaboration, and realtime updates when others make changes.
The possibilities seem endless!
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility is just phenomenal. I was very impressed from the first time I opened Airtable and started creating my bases and tables for visualizing and organizing information in different ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not run across many things that do not seem to be user error/ignorance. I have found myself confused on some of the linked fields, thinking it would do more than it does, like sync wherever I have that field in different tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started using Airtable to create a feedback library to easily tag and sort items for reference and tie feedback to specific people, customers, research sessions, etc. and we have gained a really easy way to see an overview of feedback per user/customer and organize our research.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Airtable can handle some pretty creative solutions for the task you are trying to accomplish. It was neat to envision something and have airtable make it easy to make it happen!

What do you like best about the product?
It’s extremely organized, easy to use, easy to share and create multiple bases. Great for projects and for onboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that some features in the free version are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to organize all my onboarding tasks in a detailed base. The grouping, sorting and filter options make it really easy to organize and categorize everything. I can make multiple views for different uses. I also love using it for creating action plans for major projects and assigning roles to colleagues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the guides and tips for the best experience with Airtable. I learned a lot through the tutorials and I am more productive with it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Forget about google sheets or complicated PM software where a lot of unnecessary features are offered. This is a very clean and simple platform that does things well. Great templates to work off of.
It’s complex but at the end easy to use

The filter options. I have increased the number of tasks done on time thanks to this tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love the customization options. Everything you can dream up, you can make in Airtable. There are very few limitations and things that are limited tend to be implemented very quickly once asked for.
I love the ability to customize Airtable with APIs and other software both through Airtable directly and through Zapier. We have connected our Airtable instance to Slack for ease of use and reminders, etc. It really helps us when needing additional pings for tasks coming up, when expenses are due, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Airtable could replace all our products in the office, but we have no real way to make finished reports and proposals using Airtable as of the time being. We could connect to web merge and make documents that way, but we chose not to (and that's on us!). One day we hope to make Airtable the full solution for our office.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable to track thousands of compliance inspections for our customers. It cuts our admin time down to very little time due to the ease of use and many features that it comes with. We also have it push information to Slack via the API.
We also use Airtable to track our expenses for our employees. They have a forward facing form they can use to fill out to submit expenses, and on the back end I have people who can access the tables to approve expenses before they come to me for payment. We also use Airtable to break these reimbursable expenses into specific GL categories so come tax time, we can get the full tax deductions for our employee's expenses!

Most functional database tool ever
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable balances ease of use with maximum functionality. I've been a user for about 3 months and I'm still discovering new ways Airtable makes my work projects easier. It's the perfect database tool -- the ability to attach documents inside a base is huge for corralling relevant information in once place.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't a dislike, but I do think it's important to note that Airtable doesn't do exactly the same thing as Excel/Sheets. I wouldn't personally use airtable for any financial sheets.

-Actually being able to store all info in one location
-Being able to create custom views for different audiences
-Able to easily generate clean looking cards/one sheeters/docs without additional formatting work

Game Changer for Property Walks
What do you like best about the product?
The app is the best thing to ever happen to property walks. Being able to real-time update a sheet AND attach pictures without clogging your phone memory is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
It drains your phone battery. That is legit my only negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for property walks of our apartment communities, for audits etc. And I use it for file audits
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a GAME CHANGER for property management. Doing unit walks takes 1/3rd of the time and has more accurate information than the old school paper and clipboard method.
Airtable as the Base of my Business
What do you like best about the product?
It's really hard to name only one great thing from Airtable, but I'll start by how I have all the information from my business on Airtable. From the base color scheme to the clients I have, projects I've worked on, my team, goals, deadlines and so much more.
Basically without Airtable it would be really hard to have all the information in one place. I really like Google services, including Google Sheets which does a similar work, but Airtable does so much more. I recently started a company growth campaign and I could add the start and finish dates, add them to my calendar (downloading an iCal file) and add my teammates to each process.
To sum every up, my business would not work as fluently without Airtable.

Not being able to sync my Google Calendar in order to invite my teammates directly from Airtable, and instead having to send them the file Airtable downloads to add it myself. It's not really bad, but might be better to sync it.
Also, the app feels limited and the interface doesn't look as good as the web app.

All information concerning my business is on Airtable, so basically all my problems. It centralizes all the info from my business and saves it in the cloud, for me to access it from my smartphone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pay for the biggest plan. It's worth it. Or share it with enough people. You can actually share it with enough people to have it for free.

Its a new spreadsheet software which can be shared with others and helps to keep track of information .

Too much options on screen. If you are a new user you could get confused as many options are on home screen.

Keep tracking of use full data and better project management and task management

If you switch from excel you see much better visual presentation and many other useful functions.
