Everything is connected in one single place without having to look between many different tables. Very easy to integrate with third party tools like Make.com to do your own automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to receive more tutorials to my email.

Game changer in higher ed process improvement and tracking

What do you like best about the product?
The number of ready-to-go templates and apps is terrific. I use it every day. Even with the downsides of the platform, I would never use anything else.
What do you dislike about the product?
As first publically confirmed by Airtable's CEO, I can also confirm that customer service is essentially non-existent unless you are an enterprise client. There has been an--albeit anecdotal--very clear decline in product uptime and customer support since 27% of the Airtable staff was laid off in 2023. It's super frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a general CRM for our department, as well as for general project and task management.

Limitless Possibility

What do you like best about the product?
This tool creates limitless possibility to connect existing data to new data that is collected. The ability to house all data in one base and reference past data is unmatched. We had so many spreadsheets that were repetitive and siloed this has allowed our team to become much more organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial onboarding takes alittle while to get use to. When explaining the ins and outs to people that haven't used it before now that our bases which are very built out at this point this is a definite learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a business accelerator and incubator having each startups data all in one place is CRITICAL. This platform has allowed us to collect data and build on company inputs as they progress. We tried many CRMs and they were all terrible solutions for us because of the lack of customization.

Airtable makes everything easier.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Airtable since 2018 and it continues to improve and add features that help me every day. I use automations across Slack, email and Google calendar to decrease my manual workload and have taught members of my team how to utilize Airtable for their work as well. I've probably saved at least 20 hours of work a week with Airtable automations!

Some folks I introduce to Airtable feel daunted by it at first because it's so open-ended: you can truly build anything! Once they get the basics, though, their wheels start turning, just like mine do, to use it in all areas: project management, data tracking and analytics, and communications.

In addition to providing great resources online to learn about new features and help me build my bases, Airtable's customer support has also continually been helpful when I've gotten stuck at any point. I'm so grateful!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I've come up against with Airtable recently is the calendar integration. Rather than add attendees to calendar invites (via automation), Airtable wipes the existing attendees and replaces with the attendees from the field. I haven't found a workaround without using Zapier as a third-party resource to connect the dots.

That's the only snafu I've run into; usually I find or customer support helps me find a solution if I get stuck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By automating communications and workflows, Airtable has saved countless hours of labor and decreased human error for me personally as well as my team. It also provides "one source of truth" across several stakeholders for data: the nitty gritty needed to perform daily tasks, as well as the data analytics that let us zoom out to measure success over time.

AirTable - The No Code Manage Anything Software Solution

  • December 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
AirTable allows you to create databases, interfaces, and automations, to help you manage any business function. We've used it to build a robust CRM, manage our email marketing campaigns, manufacuring and production, and other *need a quick solution* tasks.

We manage some aspect of all our business functions with AirTables.

If you're gonna give it a go, start small and build from there. Adopting AirTable when we were looking for a CRM solution many years ago has proven to be one of the best decisions we made for our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of integrated, low cost, portals for vendors/clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Custom CRM. Custom Production Management. Custom solutions that do exactly what I need and nothing more. No bloat.

The Best of All Worlds when it Comes to CRMs

  • December 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable's standout feature is its incredible adaptability, making it a powerful tool for virtually any use case. Its flexibility allows users to customize workflows and databases to fit their specific needs, whether for project management, content planning, CRM, or inventory tracking. Additionally, Airtable excels at integrating data across multiple levels, enabling users to connect related tables and fields seamlessly. This integration capability ensures that all data is consolidated into one clean, comprehensive database, providing a clear and organized view of complex information. Its intuitive interface, paired with its robust functionality, makes Airtable an indispensable tool for individuals and teams looking to streamline operations and improve data accessibility. The script extrenseion allows for easy to implement customability to whatever one might need which allows me to use our extensive database on a daily basis for a variety of of our clients. The customer support team is quick and does a great job of working on an individual level to solve any issue or question one might have.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite aspect of Airtable is the difficulty in collaborating with non-Pro users, which significantly limits its usability within an organization. While Airtable offers powerful features for Pro users, the disparity in access and functionality between user tiers can hinder teamwork. Non-Pro users often face restrictions that prevent them from fully engaging with the platform, making it challenging to scale its use across larger teams or departments. As a result, collaboration is often limited to a select few within the organization, reducing the platform's overall effectiveness for widespread adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves the challenge of organizing and managing complex data across multiple use cases, providing significant benefits for my work.

For one client, I use Airtable to create and manage a detailed and comprehensive press list. Its relational database structure allows me to track and organize contacts across various categories, including media outlets, journalists, regions, and specializations. I can easily link relevant data—such as past communications, press releases sent, or upcoming opportunities—to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Airtable’s ability to filter, group, and sort data allows me to quickly identify the best media contacts for specific stories, saving time and ensuring precision in outreach.

For another client, I use Airtable for project management of social media campaigns across multiple countries. It enables seamless collaboration with team members in different time zones, ensuring each post goes through the necessary approval process and is scheduled efficiently. The platform's customizable views, such as Kanban boards, calendars, and grids, make it easy to track the status of every post, from concept to publication. With built-in automations, Airtable sends reminders for pending tasks and approvals, keeping the workflow organized and reducing the risk of delays.

These capabilities have streamlined my workflows, increased efficiency, and allowed me to deliver higher-quality results for my clients.

This tool has leveled up our entire organization

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is unbelievably user0friendly and intuitive. Even folks with no coding skills can build dynamic, complex databases and interfaces that accomplish huge efficiencies in how you work. Airtable has been a complete game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to get folks to drop a spreadsheet mindset and adopt a database mindset. This isn't really a problem with Airtable, just a struggle for initial user adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping us manage huge catalogs of exhibition elements and their data, including approval workflows and vendor selection. We also use Airtable to map schema, to pull data from GCP into easy to read reports, to manage our exhibition open hours, and so much more.

Excellent database and workflow automation platform

  • December 10, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The UI and UX are both intuitive and incredibly powerful. The speed at which our team can build new things, iterate, and see changes come to life is outstanding. Integrations with Zapier and the extensions marketplace further enhaces the native capabilities in some very big ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limits on data usage and processing speeds can sometimes be slower that desired. Additionally, the UI and management of automations could be enhanced. Finally, the dashboarding capabilities are still quite limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed of development, flexibility, and ability to itegrate across our customers' systems
