Helps a small nonprofit become more efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is great becuase it allows entire teams to see the data. Data can easily be exported to a spreadsheet. And the bases can be customized for exactly what we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable is a little expensive, but if you can't afford it, it's worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has helped us manage inventory, manage our productions, and keep track of volunteers. Rather than needing all that information in several places, we now have it all in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable and responsive it is, and the existing templates are very helpful. As a nonprofit organization, having a tool I can use for free is hugely important.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything, but sometimes getting colleagues to understand and use my base can be a bit difficult - they seem to have a bit of trouble getting over the learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a way to look at multiple information sources and manage projects with many moving parts. Now that my Airtable is set up well, I'm confidently able to speak to the state of any of those processes at any given time.
It's like a beautiful version of Excel spreadsheets on steroids
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful and versatile database with a pleasant interface. They are constantly adding features. We use it to track everything from new requests (coming in through our website via Airtable forms or via Zapier when entered manually in Hubspot) through the tasks and lifecycle of a project, clients/companies, vendors, vendor invoices, client invoices, portfolio ideas, social media calendar, EOS scorecards. We use some Automations and Extensions, and plan to get into Interfaces soon.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the learning curve ok for myself, but I know there is a lot of functionality that I am not using yet. Others might find the learning curve harder. I would suggest starting out to use it like a spreadsheet, then adding more views and cross-references to other tables, then getting into advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to keep almost all of our business and operations data in one place, making duplicate data entries a thing of the past and allowing everyone to access the data they need at a moment's notice. We can share granular data in custom views with clients or vendors, so they can stay abreast of deliverables and status as well.
Unlimited Ideas and Resources
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has given us the ability to track all tasks in one central location. We have been able to stay on track with our deliverables because of this. Thanks to all of the templates and experts out there, we've been able to automate and save time!
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't like learning or don't want to pay someone for help, you won't like Airtable. Fortunatly, I've loved learning and have found some great community members to help make our Airtable base the best for us!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We struggled with keeping track of how much work our freelancers had as well as any delays in their tasks. Airtable has helped us map out when we need to look for another freelancer and when we are behind on deliverables.
Encompassing Source of Truth and Versatile Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use in setting up relationships across a database. It helps when multiple data points are all interrelated and the variety of extensions and scripts is so beneficial for speeding up data related exports or checks.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is free users' lack of editing access and functionality within a base. We have interns, and having them be able to make a free airtable account that can be altered and tagged but not allowing them to update any of their corresponding tasks themselves is frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping us solve automation redundancies and acting as a source of truth for our information rather than us relying on multiple versions of an excel document looking for the most up to date one.

What do you like best about the product?
Plug and play systems. Live updating. Access from anywhere, anytime.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new changes in the interface are a bit weird. And I would like more payment plan options for more storage.

not easy for making a view for non-tech shareholders. Something like a website.

Amazing - Spreadsheets on Steriods
What do you like best about the product?
Forms that can be embedded on websites and connecting sheets through specific fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
The android app is a little hard to use, but good enough for mainly using desktop version. I'm not sure how to make the app better than it is already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decreasing communication and time spent filing receipts and purchase orders. Employees fill in a form on our employee portal and the business administration has everything saved in Airtable, and can quickly upload to Quickbooks.
All-in-One App for Small Business
What do you like best about the product?
Always on, always working, powerful, and intuitive. Whenever I have an idea for organizing my consulting business operations, I often search for existing apps, but always return to Airtable, because I can get it to do what I want at practically no cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Airtable is adding more features and functionality, I'm afraid it may become less intuitive. More complexity, less ease of use typically, but we'll see. So far, it's still a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great way to create a database on the fly. Whether you're organizing a customer list, managing projects, or developing media contacts for a client, it's easy to simply begin. You can add fields and rows as you go.
